It's fine if a woman wants to have short hair, but she needs to accept that most men will find her less attractive for it. That doesn't make the man a bad person, it's just personal taste. Similarly, a woman who keeps her hair long for men isn't selling out. Pleasing others isn't a crime. I want to add that making rude comments about a person's appearance is uncalled for. It's not helpful, just mean-spirited.

That must have been devastating. I want to pat your hand and tell you NAWALT, but like you said, embracing reality and all that.

The fact that it's been three years makes me think that she started thinking about the long-term and maybe she didn't see you being as committed. I don't think she actually wants you to adopt all of the qualities she listed, but you may not be giving her enough to believe that you'll stick around when she hits the wall.

In order to get the love of a woman you have to destroy the part of yourself that most appreciates a woman's love. Very poignant. It sucks that some have to go through this.

David's a loser and she shouldn't waste any more time on him. The lying/hiding things is a red flag. The relationship isn't broken; he's just not worth the commitment from her.

Interesting perspective...sadly hilarious that the 5 stages of grief can be applied to it. I enjoy a lot of the content on TRP and really like some of the guys over there, but I am hesitant to post. There seem to be a lot of guys stuck on stage 2. Sometimes I feel the urge to defend my gender/myself, but then I realize that my reason tends to be NAWALT. Overall, though, I like the tone of TRP because it does feel so genuine and not like the rest of reddit feel-good BS.

I too use Tupac as a relationship baseline. Really, though, it varies by relationship. The important thing is that the woman doesn't overpower the man.

I'm single. I'm finally ready to get back into dating, so I might try the online thing sometime soon. Probably when it's not so cold outside. I'd be most interested in tips on how to meet red pill guys who aren't just looking for plates. Also, it seems like a lot of bearded hipsters on OKC, so I have my reservations about finding someone online. Maybe some online dating tips would be good.

What would you say is the probability of girls in her 20's in the western world having a RPW mentality? It's low. Growing up, I remember constantly being told that women could have it all, that we should have full-time careers and be the head of the house. Aspiring to be a housewife makes you a joke. That being said, I think a lot of women would be open to a red pill relationship provided the man has the right frame. So to your second question, I do think a guy has a decent chance of finding a g…

I think this is my biggest problem with feminists. For some reason they think trying to please others is a crime, and that you should only do something because YOU want to. It's ridiculously selfish and basically the mindset of a two-year-old.

In my experience, telling friends that you think a guy is "cute" means you're attracted to him. Telling a guy to his face that he's cute depends on the tone/body language. In that case the girl either sees him as completely non-sexual or she's making a pass. I think it's worth mentioning that whenever I've called someone a "cutie" it's non-sexual. Cute vs hot: This is a little less clear, but I think "hot" is more of a purely physical attraction and "cute" is attraction to appearance and persona…

As red pill women, would you ever enter such a relationship knowing that I will not love you, and that I will sleep with other women? The woman that agrees to this is getting married for questionable reasons and will likely be a terrible wife and mother. I don't think you should get married or have kids.

I think this sub is more against what feminism has turned into. I'm very grateful that women have access to education, career, legal rights, etc, but now feminism seems to mean women should be able to get away with anything and it's okay to trample on men because we have such dainty feet. If I were a man, I would be extremely cautious about getting married because the courts highly favor women. This has narrowed the pool of decent marriage-minded men, and I blame feminism for that. As far as par…

It sounds like you take great care of yourself, and at least you're being mistaken for just a few years older. Honestly, I have a hard time telling the exact ages of people in their 20s. I do feel like hairstyles can age people. I don't know what your hair looks like, but maybe that has something to do with it? For looking younger, my thoughts are: less makeup and lighter and longer hair. I know some girls who hate how young they look, so maybe that's a bright side?

She needs to stop giving them a reaction. Girls like her roommates feed off of others' insecurities, especially in a group setting. She needs to get a thicker skin and be able to laugh at herself. what is the role of self esteem, confidence, and self improvement in a woman's life? And how do they develop these qualities? This is difficult to answer since all of those qualities develop differently in women. Honestly, she needs to learn to like herself and recognize her value. How old is she? Some…

Have her go see a psychiatrist and get a prescription for social anxiety meds. And get her away from tumblr. Seriously, tumblr is full of sad people who replace real relationships with online ones and embrace being "forever alone" and all that other BS. As far as making her want to change, has she ever wanted love or a family? Point out to her that her current lifestyle means that she is guaranteeing that she will be alone, and that there might come a time that she will regret that she never eve…

She looks amazing. Personally, I appreciate the photo because it makes me a little less worried about the effects of pregnancy. I don't understand why it's okay for fat women to post pictures of themselves in lingerie in order to promote "fat acceptance," but a healthy woman who just gave birth is being attacked. So much hypocrisy. Also, I love that she has a chandelier in her closet.

I feel like this letter would make nice guys feel even more resentful. "Let me get the fun out of my system and then you can have the sloppy seconds." These women are just a joke.

She looks really pretty to me, too, although I think she's done some editing. I think the fedora man is supposed to represent the "nice guys."

i think its funny that many modern "churchians" preach a newfangled, feminist inspired "mutual submission" between the man and the woman that CLEARLY contravenes the plain text of the new testament. Right?! It does seem like a lot of churches are trying to be more PC so they don't lose followers. I admit that when I was younger I had trouble with the idea that I was supposed to submit to a husband, but then I realized I only felt that way because society had drilled into me that I was supposed t…

I'm a Christian and it definitely influences my view of relationships. One of my favorite passages on the husband/wife dynamic is Ephesians 5:22-33. I'm just posting verses 22-25, but the rest is quite lovely. "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.…

I would assume she's asexual. I'm of the opinion that if a woman wants to be with a man, she can make it happen, especially before age 31. I think she's just more interested in her career and personal growth. Or she might have unrealistic expectations.

It sounds like she just needs some time to get over her embarrassment. Don't say anything to her about it. Treat her like nothing happened and things should go back to normal. Watch out for the friends, though. I'm not so sure about pretending to be taken. Some women might see you as a challenge and get excited. Unfortunately, it sounds like you're in an environment that doesn't leave you with many options to deal with these women. Just play a good defense and keep it professional.

I think I got pretty lucky in the fact that a lot of the women in my graduate class are genuine and nice. That's awesome to hear. My grad program has a lot of Type A girls. I get along fine with everyone, but I only have two really close friends in my program.

That said, when I was one on one with a female, then I realized their temperament and beliefs became significantly less severe. That's a really good point. I think I'm most uncomfortable when it's a big group and they decide to play something like that game "never have I ever." Haha I just sit there with maybe one or two fingers up and try to keep any judgment from showing on my face.

Learning about RP stuff has made me want to find female friends, but also left me pretty disillusioned about the possibility of finding such. So true. I think another part of it is that I want friends that won't embarrass me in front of a significant other. It would be cool to have a guide to making other women friends Someone should definitely do this.

When you look at the facts...and put women's power in a geo-political context, you come to the conclusion that men and women should do everything that they can to increase the power of women in the world. Increasing the power of women starts by women and those around them investing in them. Yes, I'm sure this will make men feel more confident, secure, and inspire them to be gentlemen again. the value of having strong women in their lives who are ladies as well as wives, business partners, and te…

I went to a male strip show in Vegas once for a bachelorette party. It was hilarious and remains one of my favorite memories. Like your experience, the crowd was mainly composed of large, loud women who would never receive that sort of attention from attractive men. When the men came out in the audience, it was like something out of shark week...haha good times. One of the guys came over to me and grabbed my hand to run it over his chest. Firm pecs to be sure, but quite sweaty and I used some ha…

I used to be unsure about wanting kids. I think my biological clock kicked in recently, though, because suddenly I do want children. I'm not ready for that yet and I need to find a man with whom I want to have children, but I also realize that time passes quickly and my body has a relatively narrow window for fertility. If I do have children, I'd prefer to have them by age 29. So yes, I do hope to be a wife and mother eventually, and I think the younger the better if possible. As far as body con…

I'm new here, but I totally agree. It's so nice to see a community where I'm not considered brainwashed or outdated. The people here are just lovely. I read through that thread and what a mess. I applaud you for keeping your cool. The arguments and "logic" in that thread are concerning, especially since it felt like there was a lot more to the story. And it's ridiculous how many redditors downvote people to hell for sharing an (unpopular) opinion. Yay for open-mindedness.

when a guy buys me a drink at a bar I consider it a $5 security deposit on my time This would be entitled behavior. I'm not willing to relinquish my power with men, but I understand my power is withholding sex. If a guy won't buy me a drink, I won't have sex with him. Is this what RPW is all about? Understanding male power play and rebuffing it with your own? A huge no. Red pill women aren't "withholding sex" from a random dude because we would never sleep with a random dude in the first place. …

Yep. He lived down the street from me and we played outside all the time. Plus at school I was the leader of my girls' club and he was the leader of his boys' club. Such chemistry. Sadly I moved away in fifth grade, but when I was little I always thought I'd marry him. And of course he turned out to be super attractive and is now some hotshot writer. Maybe you're onto something there...

I don't get the low-status bad boy attraction, but one of my friends once told me that she enjoyed sleeping with this one loser asshole because he made her feel like she had a dirty secret. As far as the "Justin Biebers of the world" (heaven help us if there's more than one), a lot of women are attracted to fame, wealth, and the qualities that made the person famous, but not the actual person. So I guess women are attracted to alpha qualities, even if the person possessing them isn't actually an…

Well, I'm not actively looking right now, but when I do want to find someone, I'll probably try meeting guys through friends or social groups (like a beach volleyball league or volunteer organization), or I might even try a dating website, which should be entertaining if nothing else. I was thinking more about your question last night, and I actually think volunteer organizations is a great way to meet to meet red pill women. Would you, as red pill women view me as beta for favoring LTRs over multiple one night stands or short term flings? For me, continuous one night stands isn't really indicative of an alpha. LTRs are where you really see red pill behavior in action. Were you married, and then subscribed to red pill thought processes, or were you red pill before hand? I'm single, but my mindset about relationship roles is very much influenced by my upbringing. I didn't know about the red pill terminology until rece…

Typical logic for Jezebel. I skimmed the comments and saw a lot of "I tried the hookup thing for a while, but found it wasn't for me." This seems to be the prevailing thought, so I don't understand why women keep doing it. What reward is there in sleeping with a random dude? If sex isn't about orgasms, intimacy, or procreation, then why? Articles that encourage the hookup culture, especially for no other reason than "embrace your liberated sexuality etc," frustrate me to no end. Sometimes I feel…
