Men should support each other.Absolutely right! I’m in spaces, black female ones, where we discuss career, family life/planning/health, just anything to do with growth and development. We even donate money to give to other members in need. It always confuses me when I see other groups not do things like this. For example, a lot of men say they are too broke to fight for custody of their kids. Why not create a fund/list of resources to help men do that? Just seems like a bunch of missed opportunities in the male help spaces. | /r/MensRights | 15/01/23 01:49 PM
When women say: "I don't need a man", they aren't really thinking it through.I’m on my phone so I don’t have the patience or ability I think to quote to tackle every point, but I think the question about women/income and partnership is easily answered. Women who ARE looking for a male partner do look at his income. Women who are in the “Don’t need A man” camp aren’t thinking about that because they are not looking to partner. If I were, money would matter to me because in a capitalistic society it truly does. I don’t think this is the space for what I’m about to say, but… | /r/MensRights | 30/12/22 05:09 PM
When women say: "I don't need a man", they aren't really thinking it through.I’ll answer this as a woman who doesn’t need a man. I don’t need A man. To me, men as romantic/sexual partners serve no purpose. People often bring up finances when I say that. I pay my own bills so there’s no reason even then. I still love my father/uncles/cousins. I still feel very appreciative to the men who pick up my trash every Thursday—a job I’d never want to do. Men as humans and members of society are completely different from what I consider a personal need. I’m sure if one were to rem… | /r/MensRights | 30/12/22 04:56 PM
| -1 | When women say: "I don't need a man", they aren't really thinking it through. The statement is literally I don’t need “A” man, which unless I don’t know English (though it’s my native language) means an individual. I could understand what you’re saying if you used a statement like…”I don’t need men,” or “men aren’t needed.” If I say, “I don’t need A second job” that’s not me saying nobody should work, or working is bad. I personally don’t need a second job. Again, she’s saying I don’t need A man. When she says I make my own money, she’s saying she doesn’t need a man to su… | /r/MensRights | 30/12/22 04:46 PM |
When women say: "I don't need a man", they aren't really thinking it through.I feel like the truth to that is in the statement. A woman saying “I don’t need A man,” is not saying men are useless or unimportant. Men are very important, you need both men and women for society to work. Those women are saying they don’t need “A” man to fulfill their personal/romantic/sexual needs, which I think is up to the individual to decide. | /r/MensRights | 30/12/22 04:35 PM
You're getting a partner, not a credit card co-signer. Money is a requirement for love now? This is hilarious. And this is smart, op is delusional. | /r/MensRights | 18/06/22 11:29 AM

You're getting a partner, not a credit card co-signer. Money is a requirement for love now? This is hilarious. So some woman would tank her life and sacrifice her body to people who should be focusing on stabilizing themselves instead of dating? This is such a narcissistic way of thinking. Lol you guys really believe that people should have to leave their normal lives to go lay in the ditches with you? How about you do the same. There are women living in the slums of Africa with no power, no much food to eat and living in huts basically, they deserve love too—go get them. | /r/MensRights | 18/06/22 11:25 AM
Europeans on this subreddit. What do you think about American dating culture?I’ve noticed this as well and I’m a woman. Even if in a “casual” situation I’d want some exclusivity, because otherwise I might as well forget the “relationship” and just sleep around. As a woman I can do that easily, but I’d rather not risk the stds and emotional damage. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/08/21 01:39 PM
