Or many I misunderstood your point? What I’m saying is that when it comes to the option to abort it might not seem “fair” but it’s because of biology, not a double standard. Women have the option to terminate pregnancy because they’re the ones who are pregnant. That’s exactly why I made a distinction between abortion and abandoning a child at birth. From a practical perspective, I’m not sure the right solution is to encourage even more people to produce children and just give up their parental responsibilities after they’re born. As in abandoning a child at birth vs denying fatherhood? Genuine question! From the comments though it seems like a lot of people are comparing abandoning a child to terminating a pregnancy.
