Fair point but plenty of men can be spurred into action without being told they're a 'fat ass'. I suspect it's a cultural thing - where I'm from and at my age I'm far more spurred into action and change from being intellectually challenged rather than having a playground insult thrown my way. A deeper exploration of my motivation, my goals, my desires and how best to fit them with my responsibilities requires a certain level of subtlety that cursing and slurs does not help. There is worthwhile discourse in-between coddling and calling someone fat which might be useful to others. Not everyone needs a kick in the ass or the arm around the shoulder - maybe there's a place for intelligent, thought-provoking discussion for those who aren't the whining bitch or the macho meathead.
