Always do your lifting before BJJ otherwise you will be too tired and struggle to make strength gains. You could get away with bjj 3 or 4 times a week just make sure you are getting heaps of sleep and eating lots of carbs.

You need to relax bro

Just chill and wait to see if she replies. As it gets closer to the day start formulating other plans in your head

And it's quite humbling on days when you struggle. Really makes you appreciate your family more.

Do you think that a similar idea applies to friendships?

if boxing interests you then do it. some mma gyms have everything (boxing, bjj, weights) with the price included. Alternatively just do boxing and look at calisthenics. you can get some gymnastics rings for less than $20

have you been able to apply that to your life? have you found that by having a certain skill or collection of skills you find it easier to integrate yourself into new and strange friendship groups (or gangs) or to start and manage your own social groups?

Hey bro I've been in the same situation growing up without my dad (died shortly after I was born) and away from my family (dont live in country of birth). I tried to project my need for a father onto many men in my life but it didn't work. Very few people are interested in being your dad and so a large portion of my life has been focused on figuring out how to be a man all on my own; You have to figure this out on your own. What I did one day was ask myself what I thought it meant to be a man an…

Man I would add that if you have a bad trip then you should reflect on it. I remember some of my bad trips showed me how insecure I was about my relationships with others.

Exactly. Smoke it when you have planned time to waste. I like to go on walks or skateboarding on some free nights and I'll smoke a J on the way back home from skating or during my meditative walk.

Because today, at least in Australia, is White Ribbon Day. We get to be told about how we are not only responsible for causing, but also for preventing violence against women.

Good point. We haven't gone on a real dates, just hung out at group events, but there's photos of her touching my muscles and again she let me feel her up at a party blah blah

Thanks for all the feedback boys! I think everyone has offered an interesting and useful perspective. I'll post again if I have further questions. Thanks again

It is very possible that I will see her in person at some event. How would you respond to her confronting you and asking why you didn't respond? Pretend it didn't happen?
/r/askTRP07/11/18 12:03 AM

Do you reckon 'kk' made me seem butthurt? Even thought she obviously turned me down first, i read her response as an attack on me from her feeling rejected by my short response

I agree with this. If you're into skating dress like a skater, etc.

I reckon that if anything, especially if you tell her about it or she finds out, it's at least something to use against you in future during an argument as a justification for any of her present or future behaviour.

My thoughts and I could be wrong... It sounds to me like you already know what you want to do. Allow yourself to make the choice that you want. Whatever happens will be a valuable life experience that you can reflect on and learn from in the future. Don't give a fuck attitude, remember?

So after reading all that. What is a man to do? Other than the obvious advice of lifting, reading/re-reading the side bar, and reading all the recommended books.

Could you argue then that this show and feminism are the Blue Pill for for women?

All the schools offer free trials. I went to an MMA gym and was super into Muay Thai for the first 6 months and now I just do BJJ because I enjoy it way more.

I think you do actually understand. What do you mean by not limiting myself to intense experience? Is that like thrill seeking behaviour?

I've been experimenting with my friends (no homo) and trying to develop a value system. I've been trying to treat my friendship as kind of like project or sports team where everyone's individual success should be seen as a collective success. I'm not doubtful that envy or in group competition could creep up and negatively affect the team, but idk what do you think about my approach? If they do something that i dont like I voice my thoughts and encourage them to do the same. I also just started r…

hey dude, so I kept it simple, she replied, kept conversation simple. If I ask her out would it be wrong to say something along the lines of I'm doing blah tomorrow. if you have no plans then I want to hang out with you
/r/askTRP30/04/17 05:15 AM

Ok I'll keep it to that and see if she bothers to respond at some point. I'll let you boys know I get any form of success.

How is this then: Hey Lisa, we met at Milly's bday party. Thought you were cute, coffee?

I completely agree with you, but nervous excuses haha. I want to at least feel prepared to 'win' even if I get rejected though if that makes any sense. Like she will say "who is this?" and then I explain myself and it gets very serious and lame, you know? This is the one thing I've been avoiding in my Red Pill journey man, but this is how deal with things I ask for advice to try and do sorta ok and then try it anyway.

true. is it too easy to ignore my txt though? should I call instead maybe? but would that frighten her as well?
/r/askTRP29/04/17 02:37 AM

Interesting. she will probably not remember me though that's the main thing I'm concerned with.

I'm pretty busy most of the time, uni, work, hobbies, chilling with the boys, so I keep using that as an excuse. I chatted with her a bit that night. Was mostly just vibing with people and having a great time and then when she was leaving I just asked for her number.

The Beach by Alex Garland is a fictional novel, but I would argue it set the foundation for me becoming a more active and outgoing person. It gave me a real hunger for adventure and risk taking. The Art of Learning by Josh Waitzkin is a very good read. I just finished it and it was pretty fun to read compared to most non-fiction I have read before it. Meditations by Marcus Aurelius taught me that I can choose how I react to things. There are other cool things to take from it as well. I just star…
