[FR] update: Walked around campus and didn't see many folks, so I stopped off in a coffee shop. After about an hour a cute hipster girl in green flannel sits at a table nearby. Not attractive enough to do very well on Tinder. But I exercise almost daily, wear form fitting clothes, and have a defined sense of style. I work hard to control what I can.

Agreed, honesty is the best approach. I think the reminders when day gaming that it's okay if they're not feeling it shows good social calibration.
