Do stuff without checking in with people... i.e. be unpredictable. Obvious answer for dumb question. Like asking how to make people think you like eating spicy foods (quick answer in case you can't figure it out -- eat them in front of others).

There is no secret. You just make some progress everyday, and eventually you'll reach your goal. If you stop making progress, you will stay exactly where you are now. That knowledge is the only 'secret', I guess. In a year, you could be in great shape with a great job, by working to get there one day at a time. Or you could be asking this question again.

I use a bike to commute to work. It's great. A couple bonuses - when I get to the gym on the way home I'm already warmed up and motivated, and my cars don't have to deal with the added stop and go daily traffic, so they stay in great shape.

I'm sure she is aware of your feelings about it. The only thing you can do, in my opinion at least, is help her build her own self worth. Whether it shows or not, she obviously thinks this dude is on the same level as her. Fix that (subtly) and the problem should work itself out. Suddenly she will see herself as a catch (she probably claims to now, but does not), and begin questioning wtf she is doing with a bum.

Just go do stuff. Talk to people, coworkers, people at the bar, etc.... You get better at it by doing it. Eventually someone will ask if you want to go do something, mountain biking, go to a baseball game, a shooting range after work. Just say yes and don't act like a knob. Done. To make it simple - 1) Talk to everyone 2) Accept all invitations (as long as its not something you honestly hate)

A good skill to learn is one that you like. Don't do stuff to attract women. Almost any skill can make money if you don't suck at it.

All you are doing by 'demonstrating' things is making her more attached to her own decision making. Either she will figure it out on her own through experience, which is the only way anyone really learns, or she won't. In the mean time keep inviting her out and allow her to figure out it is more fun without him. Everyone needs to have a relationship where they pick a bad match, try to force it to work, and it all falls apart anyway. Some people learn from it and others don't, all you can do is h…

Postgrad is not a bad idea usually, but are you sure about having to start over as freshmen status? I would check with an advisor asap before making any decision, as usually every degree (at least in my experience) takes basic college courses first 2 years.

If you have '2 and a half years to go' then you are still taking prerequisites. Change your degree all you want while you still can. At most it will slow you down a semester if you are in prereqs. Honestly if you don't change your major at least once, you either are absolutely sure of your desired future or never took the time to discover wtf you want to do with life.

Women like a man who can put them in their place, and recognize when to tell them to cut the BS. You don't agree on things to have sex, or do things with expectations of payback. You establish the dominant role in a relationship and take what you want when you want it. That is what women tuly want, regardless of what they tell you. If you want to be nice or do favors you do it because you want to be nice.

Your job is only 'geeky' if you fit the stereotype. I'm an IT systems engineer, and most women who find out remark that I am the opposite of what they would expect for that job title. It probably helps that my hobbies are things like DIY home projects (that I'm actually good at after years of learning), homebrewing beer, lifting, ATV riding, and that I don't have a computer in my home (it stays at the office). But if you are a nerd type guy then that is who you are, worrying about how you look i…

You done goofed. Sometimes you gotta deal with the consequences, this may be one of them. I recently knocked up my ex-ltr (relationship of convenience), so I know the feeling. Luckily, she miscarried 2 months in. I doubt you'll be able to convince her to go against religious beliefs, and I wouldn't advocate manipulation, as personally I'd feel like a real pos. I'll probably get down voted, but you might have to stick this out. Insist on a paternity test, but maybe you'll luck out like me. I doub…

They can't handle the thought that maybe they are terrible people. This isn't just a female issue, look around you, most people try to reassign blame from themselves to circumstances 'beyond their control' (even though these circumstances often are under their control as well). Rarely do you find someone who sincerely apologizes and does what they believe is right to fix the situation. I think it stems from people who never learned to be accountable as kids, as you see this from very young child…

Sure, if you want to go after women who have a track record of that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
