Sometimes there's something worth seeing.

I've said it a few times before... this subreddit is a cesspool of vitriol and hate.

Non smoking areas were perfectly OK. But ok the thing is that not being fair may be the lesser of two evils. In this case certainly it is. Unless all the good equipment went there of course. But, it's probably best to have a female only gym, although that business model may fail more often than not.

I think it was her Britishness that she thought would save her, not her status as a female. Sheesh.

To be fair, this sub is a bit of a cesspool.

To be fair, this subreddit is full of misogynists and crybaby snowflakes. But isn't that the point here?

To be fair, Ye has got enough shit in his OWN life to try and manage al the time. He is probably incapable of helping others.

There's a terrific deep dive into this story on a podcast called "You're wrong about". It's a multi-faceted story, and she's not 100% the bad person here. It's very nuanced. Worth a listen.

To be fair, this subreddit is a toxic wasteland of garbage and inhumanity!

Food stamps aren't communism, though, right? Subsidies to schools. Public schools. Social security. Libraries. Subsidies to farmers. Public transportation. Local, state and national parks. And let's not forget corporate welfare! All these are socialist in nature. They're all good things, too, with the exception of corporate welfare. That's evil. They contribute to the betterment of society. If your argument goes all the way, why should kids who's parents can't afford to put them to school get an…

In a way the men's league, the NBA are so crazy overcompensated. I mean, so many people are making so much fucking money it's incredible. What's the harm in spreading that out a bit so women can have a league? A high roller in the NBA wouldn't miss 1% of their income nearly in the same way the WNBA would benefit from that injection. It's not always about a purely capitalistic situation. As a community of people all living together, it's kind of nice to help all the people get a little higher up …

I understand! It's a difficult road for women's football in the US because they are very good at it, and quite popular, but don't draw the same crowds as the men's teams. The imbalance between how overpaid the men are is in stark contrast to how underpaid the women are. So yeah, a basic understanding of economics gives us a basic understanding of society. In many ways this is how the US works. But, in other successful countries where there's a bit more thought given to equality, so excess from o…

In this subreddit, that's often the case. But, I stand by my position.

I understand the logic there, and I get the economic argument. Asking for a decent wage is not asking for a pussy pass, that's all I'm saying.

No, I saw that it was the result of a more equally determined contract negotiation.

Asking for equal pay is hardly asking for a pussy pass. *edit: how is that statement even in dispute? Is this some sort of incel gathering?

Yeah, we're not going to see eye to eye here, mate. Glad not to be in your circle of friends, though. Let's call it a night, shall we? You can have the last word, if you like.

Slapping her back would have been better than body slamming, landing on top of her. Something that didn't cause a possible concussion. Like the aforementioned slap. I mean, if we have to meet violence with violence, then that would have been reasonable. Your honor.

Indeed, welcome to /r/pussypassdenied. It's a sad place. I guess even the mods don't consider this a transgression of the rule: Any post that shows physical force against a woman that wasn’t instigated or excessive retaliation to instigation will be removed.

I feel like I'm that one guy in the WKUK skit about the Grapist (https://youtu.be/9Yt0b_QBP_A?t=172). Is there no concept of reasonable force? He not using reasonable force. If a police officer did this just because someone was yelling at him and slapping him, would that be OK also? She looked like she was out cold, and no doubt, having been bodyslammed onto the ground by someone 2x her weight. Proportion, you know?

I guess it's only that the countering force far exceeded what he was receiving. He went over the top and injured her.
/r/PussyPassDenied24/09/21 07:51 PM

The weight difference + strength difference is way out of proportion here. He went way, way too far. *whoa, clearly people think she got what she deserved. That's a bit scary, yo.

*edit: it was pointed out to me that I was confused, and that OP was actually banned from that subreddit for posting in ANOTHER subreddit! OMG. Thanks /u/aFatNug for showing me that. :) Back to our original programming: On one level you can see that the people who created and moderate that subreddit are just fed up with visitors/tourists being jerks. It's not helpful and it's frustrating to them. So, after deleting, deleting and more deleting for god knows how long they just had to raise the bar…

Ah! Although others have said to me that the word now means "virtually"... The original meaning of "literally" means exactly like this. So if someone says "His face literally split in two he was laughing so hard"... they are not using the word correctly. Unless of course his face split in two. So, I stand corrected. The word now means "actually" and "not actually". So, there you go. :)

Well now, aren't you a dick right here. How very rude and unkind of you. Do you even understand the context of what's happening here? Have you tried to understand?
/r/PussyPassDenied07/07/20 02:21 AM

Whores? That's just unkind of you and not relevant. Please don't make things worse by calling them that. It's just not necessary!

Of course! ...but maybe?

Not much pussy pass denied.... she committed a crime. Unless she tried to get off by claiming she should be exempt from penalty because she's a female... but she didn't.

No, that doesn't. I mean, in a technical way, but come on... why glorify assault? Please remove this post.

This is just tragic stuff here. I'm going to guess she didn't get the sexual education nor the care she needed to make better choices.

We can go back and forth and get nowhere. Can we agree to stop responding to eachother now?
/r/PussyPassDenied19/07/19 07:26 PM

But you see, that's my whole point. Some patience on the part of the officer would have avoided this. There was no need to taze her. Just patience. Officer was power tripping. Not professional.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/07/19 07:16 PM
1

Sure. That's clear. However it didn't need to come to this. Escalating to this level just because she's annoying is taking it way to far. Had she started her car or something, presented herself as a danger to others, that would be a different situation. In this case the police would have done a better job just by waiting her out. Instead he showed himself to be a hothead with no patience.
/r/PussyPassDenied17/07/19 07:12 PM

No matter what, she was more annoying than a threat. Tazing was over-doing it.

Specifically it's punching this young lady in the face. She's outweighed, out-trained and outnumbered. Face punching was way out of line, in my opinion. I can see by the downvotes that I'm way outnumbered here though. I'll see myself out.
/r/PussyPassDenied01/06/18 12:45 AM

Would you feel the same way if it was you in her shoes? ... err... flip-flops?

As a trained police office I would fall back on my training. Barring that, I could use my superior weight to subdue her. Punching in the head is a gross misuse of force.
/r/PussyPassDenied31/05/18 08:02 PM

Is that reasonable force? Trained officers (two of them) versus beach-going girl? Face punch? Really?

/r/PussyPassDenied31/05/18 06:44 PM
-11

You have lost perspective. There are other ways of gaining compliance that don't involve punching in the head. They're trained officers, and for sure know this. Sad perspective you have on justified face punching.
/r/PussyPassDenied31/05/18 06:35 PM
-20

I'm having a hard time people thinking that it's OK to punch someone in the face. Especially by a police officer. No matter what you do! What in everliving fuck is wrong with you people? Do you have any idea what a punch in the face is like? Why is it EVER necessary?
/r/PussyPassDenied31/05/18 06:24 PM

She would not need a slap or two in the face, no matter what her attitude was. What is wrong with you people here? Holy shit.
/r/PussyPassDenied31/05/18 06:23 PM

Uh, no she did not deserve a punch in the face. No one deserves a punch in the face, regardless of what they do. What is wrong with you?

Just as an FYI, I had not seen this before, so I was pleasantly amused by the seemingly fair hand of justice coming down on her. But then horrified by the larger picture, found in the comments, where he was a consumer of child porn and found himself under the hammer of justice. So anyway, reposts are not all bad. Best just to use the "hide" button and move on without raising your blood pressure.
