Sounds like he is growing up and doesn't know how to do the vulnerability and intimacy part needed in a marriage; which is not just about an individual anymore (or him dealing with his stuff in "single" mode). If this doesnt work, you are not in any worse of a position later: Go the other route. Sex is about intimacy. He is closed off. Reaffirm him for who he is and not how he is acting. Care less, or act like you care less, specifically to your needs. Do the exact opposite of what you feel just…

Thank you for this. Seems impossible ontop of impossible to find. But God has an amazing way of keeping my foot in my mouth more and more over the years lol

Wow thank you for this and OP defensive reaction. I definitely don’t keep my own texts tight.

You say he’s super loyal. Your boyfriend didn’t want someone 7 years younger to bring an expensive item of clothing to a bar (where it could get damaged). I relate to that for many reasons and experiences. If this wasn’t your brother, would you have reacted the same way? Honestly, if this isn’t a deep consistent pattern (which sounds doubtful as you say he’s so loyal), I don’t understand how this is relevant. If others think I’m wrong I’m confident in the quick correction.

You can ask- when’s the last time you had sex? Did you stop because of your faith?Did you come to your faith from realizing what sex didn’t give you that only God could? Ask her what her story is? Look at what she offers. Is she controlling directly or passively so? Would she make a good wife? A good mother? Is she strong in ways you are weak?

Good! Now I want to find a taller woman just to put her in your shoes lol. Anyway, if I were him, I would want the difference in height become non existent over time. If anything that you feel smaller (not in a demeaning way) but a delicate way. In a sense, where men(other than him) feel smaller to you, as well. Where you feel lead, and desire to be lead, by him. I’m sure you are aware of this stuff. If nothing else I’m curious, so do post an update, if you will.

I would say it relates to dominance more than height. If you feel small, safe, and fragile, around him than that is more ideal (at least what I enjoy) from a woman. The sense he can lift you, or toss your around, carry you if ever needed.120lbs is nothing to lift lol. Do you feel more feminine around him? I am 5'9. Having a taller woman feel fragile and vulnerable, physically and emotionally responsive, sounds invigorating- even more so because she is taller ( assuming her RMV is comparable to h…

The second most interesting part of the article is: the bias along social ideology/party lines and not gender. The most interesting part is their admittance to believing it would be about gender and were wrong. One of the most interesting social articles I've read in a long while.

This is so vile and disgusting I don't have words to fully express myself. Evil. It's not a movement, it's not men's rights (although definitely being attacked), but the place this level of delusion can exist requires a consignment of something that makes us human. Just evil.

A few pieces that have changed my life with respect to intent: being honest, openminded, and willing. These three elements have been apart of tremendous changes in my life. Willing to step up to situations. Openminded enough to not preclude outcomes before they happen. Honesty, which is so simple but deeply impactful, means I don't have to remember anything since I'm not lying and can be vulnerable in a way that grows- where vulnerability is comfortable, normal, and commanding instead of coming …

"Eventually, he was not charged with sexual assault after police found two witnesses who said she was a willing partner in the drunken romp." So she lied but the guy didn't get charged. Wow.. How does she not go to jail for that???
