If you understand that they may of had to stop replying for a few hours to live their lives and your not butthurt I don't really understand how you don't know how to respond. You just do however you want when you have the time. I don't take these things personally and I'm the type of person that might not respond to a text till the next day cause I didn't have time, then forgot. I'm a woman and I would agree with what AladdinDaCamel said. Sometime us ladies have the earbuds in specifically to become unapproachable. But not always, sometimes it's just boredom and I really wouldn't be bothered at all if someone approached me. I'd say it's worth a try to do so. Life's too short not to. Just pay close attention to her body language to tell if she seems put off or open.

I think it's great to focus on yourself and make yourself the best person you can. But you should also do that for you, to make yourself happy, proud and confident. That will in turn make it much easier to find yourself a better partner more easily. But I wouldn't completely stop approaching women if you're looking to being with one. Sometimes yes women approach men, but most of the time women are shyer or just not in the habit of chasing men. This is coming from a woman who has never approached…

Wow I think this is a really smart idea. I'm also glad to see you're not being a douchey pick-up artist. I think there are a lot of men and well women too like the way you used to be and I think most of the help out there for them just teaches them how to be a complete asshole.
