Forgive me if I’m taking your argument wrong, but no of course “stuff to help men” was never voted into law by women as women never held political power in the day. It was just the norm in the patriarchal society that men were the decision makers and many laws reflected that bias as they were drafted by people who lived in and upheld that standard.
