No it's the fact that it's almost always exclusively female charities. A lot of people here would be completely fine with donations to neutral or a fair amount to either gendered charities. This topic has got me worried for future children, as some one who has studied attachment i know that a strong bond with a primary caregiver is absolutely critical to a childs upbringing, it can effect everything from performance in school to life expectancy. No, even if it isn't true today up until the 60s and 70s men were very much more privileged than women. We could easily get jobs, vote, have positions of power, speak up for ourselves and not be forced into a situation that was unfair to us. Women had to deal with not getting jobs, having to marry people they may not have liked to survive and never had the opportunity to do anything with there lives. This has completely changed in the developed world however.
