I understand what you are saying but there is a difference between tussling someone's hair and gently moving it from their face.

Why potentially ruin a friendship awkward when you 'do not have oneitis' and you could be 'perfectly happy not doing anything with this girl'? Get her to introduce you to her friends.

Just a small note that it is 'clique' and not 'click'. (Hope that this doesn't come across as condescending as it reads!)

Ah right, looks like I got the wrong end of the stick. You should try and direct him here if you can then.

If the guy doesn't want to learn then I say leave him alone. He's his own man and he doesn't need people telling him what to do, even if that person is his roommate.

The beer thing is a good great idea. If me and my mates were chilling and a guy comes and introduces himself with a beer, he's at least getting a decent convo and some introductions.

It's not Catch 22 at all actually. You say you have no AA therefore, you should have no problem getting dates. Going on lots of dates should cure your 'date anxiety'. The problem is solved. Praise jesus!

It's not so much of a stigma, it's more of a deep part of culture. You think about a suit being synonymous with business and it's the same sort of idea. You could work in a t-shirt and shorts but a suit means that you are serious about it. Like a phone number, it's more than it looks like on the surface. There is a big list of stuff in the sidebar about IOIs that will undoubtedly tell you much more than my beginner's knowledge would. If you read through it a bit and then sort of check it against…

A number is more than contact. It's a lot more personal. You know who has my number? People I trust. It's not on my facebook, my twitter. It doesn't get thrown around and it is the same for girls. There is also an association with traditional ideas of dating. It wasn't long ago that someone's number was the only way to contact them. Only a few years before that and only their HOME phone number was a way to contact them. I don't even have a home phone number at the moment. I'm glad that you find …

I read something on here the other day (I think) where a guy met a girl and he noticed this same thing. He brought it up and she replied that she did indeed have a lot of guy friends; 'I don't want to be a friend'. Make your intentions clear and don't be threatened by the other guys. Good luck mate.

There is a difference between being a funny comedian and a funny person to be around. If the guy wants to be funny, start watching how people make other people laugh in the situations where he wishes to make people laugh.

I feel that my friends do this so much. They think that if they have a crease in their shirt then no one is going to speak to them the entire night and the world is going to shun them and blah blah blah! If a girl doesn't like you because you've got a lose thread coming off your shirt then move on.

I am in sort of the same position. I've been improving myself vaguely for the last couple of years but aim to have a more direct improvement in the coming months. I'm 21 and a virgin. It's not something that you should be ashamed of and it's not something that you should worry about. You are going to be a virgin for even longer if you keep putting it off. If I ever get asked about it, I am going to tell them that it never really happened for me. I'll try and avoid the story of depression, loneli…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
