You don’t seem capable of replying without resulting to insult. Of course we knew people who we would try and get to buy alcohol who looked older than we did but that was when I was 16 not 14. In America isn’t legal age to buy alcohol 21 so you would be basically 16 or up. Even then any half decent place would ask for ID because they would suspect that people did this. In England there’s a rule that if you look under 25 you are supposed to get ID’d before buying alcohol. So your argument doesn’t…

I never said legally they were unable to reach the judgement reached. I think it was wrong but the judge is perfectly capable of concluding the matter this way. I just think that it was the wrong outcome. I know that plenty of people do get prosecuted for doing what you have described. Like I said if you are both a couple of years apart I would give them more of the benefit of the doubt. But she’s clearly attracted to very very young people.

Yes. But I knew they weren’t a child. And if I thought they were very young I would check myself and if I wanted to go ahead I would ask to see ID. But for most people like me it’s not an issue because I don’t sleep with children. If he were 15 and she were 16/17 I would be having a different conversation. But that’s not what happened here.

I don’t hate women. If I buy a £1000 bike off someone for £5 I should know there’s a strong chance that bike is stolen if I don’t check. If I’m 30+ and sleep with someone who looks very young and was hanging out in a park (all be it they may look borderline old enough to buy alcohol) I should check their age.

I understand different people go to the park. But she should have been suspicious that he was a kid. 14 is very very young. It’s not 16 pretending to be 18. There are big changes still happening for this child even if he “looks older” there’s only so old a 14 year old will look. She isn’t a child and she should have realised there was at least a chance he was under age. It’s predatory behaviour and she is a peadophile as she is clearly attracted to underage children.
