I think you should get a better logo as in the title link. Some other suggestions could be along the lines of: http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/yin-yang-male-female-symbols-1821300.jpg The yin-yang sign better communicates the complimentary benefit that both men and women bring to society. I think it would allow a greater audience to pay more attention to men's issues, and not simply dismiss it off-hand. ... though in the example linked the female sign is at the top. Probably should reverse that to imply the goal is readdressing the balance from the male perspective. Or maybe just leave the female at the top as that highlights who seems to be thought of first in terms of "rights" at the moment?

The problem to me is that an equals signs makes something which is multi-dimensional over-simplified into a single dimension. Men and women's worth overall may be equal but that plasters over a complex interaction where womens' worth is indisputably more on certain aspects/dimensions of life and mens' in others.

Perhaps a male-female variant of the yin-yang symbol should just be used for this sort of thing. Gets the message across within getting into mathematic notation!

Interesting, but I still don't think it is quite right, as it still implies men and women are the same and you are just going to get into arguments on which one comes first! I was thinking more that we need something like and equation such as in Boolean logic whereby Men ^ Women = 1 (where <sup>=</sup> Boolean AND and 1=true). However, Boolean logic is not correct either as is too black and white for something complex. I think it needs more something along the lines of notation from set theory. …

Yes, there is a lot to say and debate on this topic in general that it really deserves a thread of its own rather than being buried here. I was going to suggest the approximation symbol too, but something about it still does not convey what is meant accurately. I distinctly remember using a triple line for equivalence in mechanics computations which I need to explore again, though for some reason that is not covered in that Wiki article. Why is the equal sign used? Equality is a nonsense fallacy as two things which are different cannot be equal. Men and women are COMPLEMENTARY and should have equivalent complementary rights under the law. Could more accurate mathematical/logical symbols be used to summarise this relationship?
