| 18 | How quickly widowers move on from their wives shows that they don't see women as people, just bangmaidsMy partner's grandfather remarried quite soon (maybe 1.5 years) after his wife died but he was the same - very doting and did everything for her for years. Near the end he would barely leave home in case anything happened to her. I don't feel like him moving on was a bad thing, he could get out and be social again and you could see he missed it.
