I'm a researcher so I have this data from a speed-dating study. In my study of (mostly) college students, 49% of women and 74% of men were rated as below average by the opposite gender. Surprisingly close!

People put way too weight on statistics. These figures will vary widely based on numerous factors, such as 1) who exactly you surveyed 2) how you surveyed them 3) how you defined "rape" and "attempted rape" for them 4) if you did not clearly define rape, how they define "rape" and "attempted rape." For instance, if non-forcible attempts (such as use of drugs, alcohol, verbal pressure, blackmail, molestation, date rape etc) are counted, I would not be the least surprised at extremely high rates o…

Replace the son with a daughter, and the female prostitute with a male prostitute and then it sounds pretty bad. Not sure why this is submitted under Men's Rights with that headline, btw...this was a form of rape and child abuse against the son. One difference between this and the "teachers who fuck 16 year old students" is that in those cases you are referring to, the students often do consent, which makes it statutory rape instead. 7 years for an abusive parent seems reasonable, especially whe…

Why is this under men's rights? Whereever there is a demand, there is a supply. Guess who's demanding?

Figure is supposedly 1/10 boys molested by age 13. Sad thing is that molestation very commonly occurs within the family and thus the circle of trust. It's hard to imagine how a person could hurt someone they "love" that way...

It's a chain. Rape is about power...people abuse those they have power over. Men tend to abuse women and children (though men too). Women abuse children. Children abuse younger children and animals.

Article assumes that men and children are not victims of rape.
