Last year I threatened my SO that if he didn’t hang out with a friend who isn’t related to him or isn’t facilitated by me or his family by the end of the year, I was going to leave him because I don’t date men who don’t have friends… he didn’t actually have any friends and asked his coworker to go hunting with him. It was within the bounds of what I asked so I stayed. We were together for 6 months without hanging out with a single person not facilitated by me or his family when I said that… we g…

In my experience, we usually are compatible with the jerks but we don’t know they are jerks yet. And the guy she may be complaining to is probably a kind man (not a nice guy) who she isn’t compatible with. They could have different goals and aspirations or he could be a slob or have a problem she can’t wait around for him to fix like alcoholism. Like yeah he is probably a very kind sweet guy to her. But there’s still other factors as to why she isn’t attracted to him and I can promise you it’s n…

Nice guys are not kind men. Kindness and being nice are two different things. I am a bit of a bitch and I am “nice” to people I would run over with a car if it wasn’t illegal, didn’t effect people I care deeply about, or most importantly I wouldn’t have to face God and be sent to hell for it… however my acts of kindness are genuine and come out in different ways without the person feeling like I’m just “being nice” out of social obligation. Kind men are still capable of having unattractive trait…

Also don’t forget, if a man or woman is in a relationship with somebody that they don’t feel like is the right fit for them, they build resentment. Looking back, I’ve resented a lot of men because I didn’t want to be with them or I’d try to give them a chance but they didn’t meet a standard for how I felt like I should be treated or the life I wanted, and I know some of those guys resented me for various reasons including that I didn’t like being abused by them so I began to resent them.

I think it’s a societal issue from before us. There’s no man vs woman problem with this one. It’s a “people before us” while I still believe virginity is special in a sense because of innocence and experience, people take it way too seriously. Should a child’s virginity protected in healthy safe ways? Yeah duh. But the actual concept of virginity is oppressive for both virgins and the ones people want to use it against. Including men. People treat it like they are conquering virgins and stealing…

I almost questioned if my dad wrote this until I saw the last line about being up late doing stuff and I laughed and said “nah mom is always the one up late and dad is in bed by 9” I think it depends on the person. I personally have realized that as I’ve gotten older, I enjoy having my own space. I don’t mind having a main couples bedroom. But I would hope I have enough space to have a nice office with hobby stuff and an extra bed that I find comfy because sometimes I am too cold at night and ot…

That’s the thing though… In the context of the situation that inspired this post, it isn’t an excuse on the basis of gender. I regularly get my car maintenance on time, I am known for working in construction and knowing how to use tools. I am known for working on my old diesel truck.. I am also known to be really damn busy the last 2 years. So when I ran out of time to go to the gas station and didn’t want to go at night in the dark, I just went home and said I’ll do it tomorrow. Then the next d…

Also, SMV yes it’s a real thing, I’ve tried to give the underdogs a chance and got burned. That was my point of the other comment. I don’t want to go out of my league because it always ends up with large burns.

I can promise you I’m not out here as some man hater. I love and respect my father, my little brother has always been my favorite person and I’ve been his number 1 supporter, I’ve always been a daddy’s girl and my papa’s girl since I was born (God rest his soul) and majority of my closest friends are men. I have dated (not relationships) some really great men who were only looking for casual dating because they knew they couldn’t commit and it was out of respect and they were clear about it. But…

If that’s the case, you are either very unlucky or missjudging the value of everyone involved. Very unlucky. I didn’t misjudge them because that would imply they were truthful and not pretending to be somebody they aren’t. My last abusive relationship everyone including myself thought he was great. To the point when I was two weeks in a seeing some red flags I told my male friend about it and he said “you’re just being paranoid he is great so far” and then two weeks later the dude is drunk at a …

I didn’t know I wasn’t going to like them. I went in unsure of if I’d like them or not. That’s a huge difference. Just because in hind sight I ended up miserable from them and disliking them doesn’t mean that I didn’t give them an honest shot and was just unsure of it I would or not. I’ve been unsure of tons of people and it differs person to person but within the case of dating down, looking back it never worked.

I didn’t find out I didn’t like them until after I was dating them. I may have not been excited to date them when I first was meeting them, but after experiencing their personality that’s when I decided I didn’t like them. You got it a bit backwards, because we can’t know if we like them or don’t like them until after dating. But also, thanks for confirming why we shouldn’t date below our league like people tell us to for your soft fragile egos. We are constantly told “oh come on give him a chan…

It takes time to realize the difference between guys who are only with you because they can’t even get a 3 usually and you’re a 7, but they always want a 9, and guys who actually like you. I know a few guys who would date and marry me right now so they weren’t alone but they would treat me badly my whole life because they don’t actually genuinely like me. I see all of their point about how hard it is for them but they keep missing the point we make about how they genuinely don’t like us they jus…

I have a friend who uses them on occasion (rare, this man somehow pulls an impressive amount of young hot women for his age and looks. I’ve seen pics and videos and he is on a few girls OF page and no he doesn’t have money) and they literally do inspections on men checking them for warts and sores before approving the transaction. And beyond that it’s condoms and other safe practices!

Funny enough, every man I’ve dated who is anti dildo is also deeply addicted to porn and has performance issues caused by it. Where as every man I’ve dated who is chill about dildos don’t usually watch porn and pretty good in bed. I wish I could see the science and exact data for this but I am stuck only having my own experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/24 05:47 AM

I’ve been in a “no porn pro dildo” situation. But that’s because we have the mutual respect of “I don’t watch porn, you let me do it with you, if I finish first, the dildo keeps me from my hand cramping up finishing you everyone wins” in his words.

Dating in the west. Depending on where in Asia ranges from honor killings to controlling every aspect of their marriage. My mom wants me to marry for love and my dad wants me to marry somebody like him (I’ll be single forever 😭) and dating in different cultures from Asia sounds miserable

While I’ve collectively been abused by more men because I keep attempting to have relationships and connections with men, I have been abused in the most disgusting horrid ways by women. I struggle to get along with other women and have girl friends because of how bad my female friendships were as a child. I know what to expect from a man. But other women? I don’t know what they are going to do. I attempt to be a girls girl because I have no women in my corner but they make it so hard to stay a g…

Majority of the self identified red pillers would never use charisma. I don’t think most would even pay for it either… but don’t hold me to that one. You’d probably be more bluepill if you think Warren Buffett wallets are not required. Which I’d agree because I’ve never experienced dating a man making 100,000k or more (to my knowledge) so clearly it’s not required. Usually good conversation and friendly joking and banter does it. Men underestimate smelling good as well. I love using perfumes tha…

Why do you watch TV and Netflix entertainment when all of that is produced and created by people who are dramatic for a living and dramatic in a daily life as well. Have you ever met a theater kid? Why spend money on Netflix to entertain yourself with needless capitalism drama when you can have real human interactions?

It’s traumatic waking up next to anyone after being drunk. I’ve woke up fully clothed next to guy friends trying to cuddle with me in their deep drunk sleep fully clothed. As for the sex part, that sucks I hate how much alcohol has to do with sex culture.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/24 09:38 PM

This is why I live by the rule of “no sex while drunk” because all my friends can testify that every time we have gone out I’ve never hooked up with anyone. I don’t ever want to wake up hurting from somebody doing something to me while I was way too drunk and I barely could stand or move ever again. Therefore I loudly proclaim “I don’t have sex while drunk” so if somebody actually does that, there’s no chance in hell it was consensual because since I’ve started being vocal about it and living by…

My car is too low to do it myself so I just take it to a shop but that requires time to take it to a shop I have too much to do lately 😭 I used to do my truck maintenance with my guy friends helping me get off the oil filter because I didn’t have the grip strength. I’ve even changed my own alternator. Car maintenance sucks for everyone.

I don’t want to speak for other women but I will speculate on 3 things I think is what is happening and why it’s harder and what I think is better options.. (this is my opinion not a fact) 1) social anxiety. I think too many men and women have social anxiety and it’s keeping them from finding people organically 2) cat calling type behavior, a lot of men don’t care how they talk to women they just go for the kill and say whatever creepy thought on their mind. And do whatever weird action they can…

Honestly sign up for classes at your local community college. You can meet people between classes and in class! I have made friends this way! I haven’t been dating recently but there’s enough men and women usually. Unless you pick a random male dominated class. Don’t skip any study groups and if women are studying without headphones and out loud ask them a question about stuff they are studying. I take night classes and there’s tons of men and women around.

This is going to sound very red pill of me but I don’t support women doing sex work. I used to but there’s no ethical consumption of porn. It’s worse for our brains than drugs sometimes. It’s right below food addictions because food is like essential to survive and sex is important for survival. Studies show how damaging porn is to the brain. I believe smut books, porn, etc is harmful. I don’t have issues with nudity, sex, and kink documented in beautiful creative ways but the line is blurry. I …

I think it’s the fantasy of meeting a man in public and not on an app. I used to look at guys I thought were cute in hopes they would look at me. They never did. Didn’t change the low key maladaptive day dreaming I had of meeting a guy in public and falling in love.

You’d be shocked how many men treat us like we aren’t good enough for them. An ex of mine would tell me to drop out because I’m too stupid for college and how my job doing childcare wasn’t good enough and I didn’t make enough money but again, said I was too stupid for college even though I had straight A’s. Maybe he was more successful than me in that moment as an electrician, but considering he was super abusive and I cleaned his blood off the walls from when his ex broke a mirror on him while …

This topic confuses me because I end up dating too many men who are basically projects at this point. Even befriending men like that too.. Low self esteem? I’m a cheer leader. No job? Lemme job hunt for you. Does drugs? Won’t date you unless sober let’s sober you up boo. Shy? That’s okay I’ll order for you. I honestly have hurt myself by dating men who aren’t anywhere close to self actualized. I think I dream of a man who is, but it’s not an expectation and isn’t a reality. I truly want a man wh…

My relationship has been so rocky the last few months and to the point we haven’t gotten back together but we are still seeing each other. Stress made us gain weight and I don’t like myself and I wish he didn’t have his shirt off and I miss his jaw line: he also slouches a lot which makes his torso worse. His legs are still very skinny. It’s hard to. Even when I would go places where social vetting could happen but rare, it’s still a gamble. I’ve gone to RPG game stores and men that I may have given a chance even if they were not usually appealing ruined their chances when I told them a guy in the group was making me uncomfortable and they did nothing and blew me off… I later sent a Megan’s law screenshot with him on the registry for CP and they didn’t even apologize. When I was sent those messages from a fake Facebook account I was literally shaking from anxiety, about to throw up in his living room, and debating ghosting him. This man wouldn’t hurt a flag and worships the ground I walk on. If she never falsely accused him I would have never spent a long amount of time physically sick from fear. So if a guy tells me right away, I will probably end up physically sick from fear.

I think just acting normal and giving us no idea if it’s a lot of women or none yet is actually significantly better. Plus nothing better than telling a man who gets laid a lot how bad he is while telling an inexperienced man how good he is.

I’d rather not know than be stressed about being his first time or close to first time. I don’t mind inexperienced men but it puts so much pressure on me when I know. Also, many “experienced” men actually significantly worse in bed because they don’t actually care about their partners experience just them getting what they want. So a lot of inexperienced men have a very good shot compared to men who get laid a lot. However, my biggest advice to inexperienced men who are getting their chance: tak…

Months later after getting to know them and seeing their character. I’d rather a man tell me months after dating while talking about bad relationships or something than telling me right away. It’s a vulnerable thing that I don’t need to scare me off right away if it truly isn’t true. If I’m told too soon I will be spooked and looking for red flags. Hyper aware because I don’t want it happening to me again.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/24 02:07 AM

I have a habit of getting men to drop their masks fast because I have a STRONG personality and it usually makes them crack. The false allegations will mean nothing once I’ve seen somebodies character over a period of months. But telling me sooner I’ll end up anxiously picking through every detail.

If they are on a date with me and randomly bring it up ima just assume he did it. There’s no reason to tell me the first date. And even if he didn’t, I’m going to be terrified of him because he told me. My most recent partner was accused by his ex wife from a fake Facebook profile and she got verbally abusive with me and that’s when I realized she, while pretending to be somebody else, was lying to me.
