Why is MRA limited to sullen bitter internet forums? “Fine to work with” is obviously subjective and case by case, but generally I think most people would lean on “they’re not an asshole and are at least mildly competent at their job.” as criteria for giving someone a job reference. If your beliefs or expression of them are preventing you from being able to get a job reference, then I don’t know why that’s anybody’s issue but your own.
