Yes, it's basically the no girls on the internet meme played out. IRL women basically never get unfiltered comments from men, on the internet everyone is just a username.

It's simple, there's 3 types of guys. Good men, small minority. Bad men, also a small minority but share a lot of commonality with good men. Losers, like 60-80% of men who don't make the cut for most women. It's written in our DNA only about 40% of men to exist have ever reproduced whereas 80% of women have.

When I was single of I was looking for a 7/10 id just approach/swipe anything above a 5, going on a date doesn't hurt and is good practice. Looks still matter a lot though in the end.

Casting a wide net isn't a bad idea at all, you never know who's going to surprise you if you don't give them a chance.

You are mistaking easy with approachable.

This is one of those posts that needs an annotation, dating in your 30's is the worst if you are a loser. Dating in my 30's was awesome, I had a neverending stream of 22-28 Ur old women, disposable income, a nice car, nice clothes, fun nights out, bigger and better parties than my 20's. Rinse and repeat until I found one I wanted to marry. Try not being a typical redditor.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 11:28 AM

Bruh, I've worked in tech for almost 20 years and literally every "woman in tech" I've met could barely code and was placed due to DEI initiatives, it's such a hollow promise, every couple of years I meet a woman in tech, think that's great and she must be talented only to find out her entire team fucking hates her and has to carry her as dead weight due to being a DEI placement.

This is cringe behaviour and an automatic turnoff for me, I don't think my wife or any woman Ive been with has ever asked me for money.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/25 07:50 PM

That's my observation also, most of the guys I met in South America and Asia had good jobs and would have no problem back home, their partners also had good jobs and they lived upper class lives. YouTubers aren't the norm and the average Redditor can't afford to travel so resorts to passport bro fanfiction.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/25 02:43 AM

His case is literally the stereotype, what you describe is fanfiction.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 06:03 AM

Not really, nice guys are often weak and cringe hence why they are nice guys. Personalities aside the bad boy is usually atleast competent and attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/25 09:52 PM

Wtf are you even talking about. As a dude who was getting 40+ matches a day on tinder before I met my wife I I can guarantee you absolutely have to chase no matter how attractive you are.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/25 03:52 AM

More or less. I've always been conventionally attractive for a guy, Ive slept with a large amount of women and had lots of casual encounters but finding a stable relationship was always difficult, even when I dated explicitly for that purpose. You still need the basics like looks, charm and presentation to date but I had to sift through hundreds of women to find my wife.

5-10%, it's a mark of success and comes across well but it's not going to make or break anything, that being said having a shitbox car probably will have a bad effect. I used to have an expensive sports car, showing up to a date well dressed and groomed in a nice car makes a very good first impression.

No they don't lmao, I had confidence before I was ripped in my early 20's and had a similar lifestyle and confidence. Gaining weight made me totally invisible to women, losing weight made me appear again. Only type of women who like fat guys are ones that can't do any better themselves.

Also have to be not a manlet and moderately attractive.

I went from being a fat guy to a super ripped guy 2 years back, the change in the quality of my dating life was insane, I went from near-zero tinder matches to 40+ matches a DAY. Then I basically just serial dated multiple first dates a week until I met my wife, shit was easy. Lose weight, get fit, control your mealplan, it's worth it.

You know the massive fashion and beauty industry that exists ? If you can be featured in their ads it's a good indicator. Also plus size models are only being paid lip service, interviews with them are depressing.

It's pretty clear that you are delusional about reality based on the replies you give to all of the good answers. You don't understand the male condition or psyche, men don't think that way, men give others the opportunity to succeed and if you fail that's your problem, your idea of uplifting is undeserved rewards which is not how reality works.

Because a mildly attractive woman with basic planning can have an all expenses paid ride through life and basically never get called out for any wrongdoing. A mildly attractive man will probably die alone and will have to work his ass off to get anywhere in life. Most women I know have a bunch of guys willing to come and help them do this for free, if one refuses they just call the next one. Also the job market, in every tech company I worked for any woman who simply applies is given an intervie…

I'll go one further, I've been alive for a while now, literally every accusation I've witnessed irl turned out to be fake. Every woman I've known who accused her ex of hitting her or accused a dude of SA turned out to be false, of course none of them ever went to the cops too, just spread it around and then disappeared when they got called on it.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 09:35 PM

I'm gonna say the chances of cheating are much higher in the workplace than stay at home mother, kids keep you busy and are a lot of work, being in the office is worse because while she only sees you after work when your unwinding she sees other guys in their prime, at work and mentally active. I've seen it happen too many times in office environments.

You and a lot of other women would probably be shocked if you truly knew how many guys had thoughts about you or were giving you preferential treatment because of something trivial you said in the past, most women will be lucky if they have more than 3 genuine male friends in their entire lifetime, it's really that bad.

Lmao my friend was like this, she had a dude who was her alpha widow and kept coming back, then leaving etc etc, then I saw a photo of the guy and actually fell over laughing BC I was picturing John Cena in my mind and this dude looked like John C Reilly.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 10:51 AM

They are better though, if your a woman who can't find a man and keep him then there's something seriously wrong with you. Being in a good relationship and happy is a sign of a healthy and we'll adjusted person. Spinsters don't get that way because of bad luck.

Yep, there's so many small points that can add 3 months each to your application time or result in a rejection. For example one set of documents where 3rd party testimonies which said the people writing them needed to provide ID, so everyone who filled out one for us included their ID, then on lawyer review we were notified of fine print on a reference doc that it actually needs to be "proof of citizenship" i.e passport or birth cert otherwise the entire set of documents could be totally disrega…

a few dated pictures is usually enough. Yeah so they explicitly say that's not enough. infact photos are only really valuable if they can place you at a time/event/location which you also have matching financial records for or can align to a statutory declaration signed by a lawyer. you don’t need to be lovey dovey or whatever. you can be married for any reason. Spousal visas are hard because they are easy to abuse. This is exactly what I'm talking about, people assume it's not hard and just think it's a form, you actually need to give financial, social, legal and future commitment proof with full receipts, anything less than overwhelming evidence = rejection. There's a 46% rejection rate on spousal visas in my country yet people who've never been through the process just think you can marry a stranger for a Greencard,b or if you are a couple you can ju…

Mild frustration lately has been dealing with the fallout of bad visa advice given by my wife's coworkers and friends around our partner visa. It all ended up going smoothly because I know what I'm doing in this space but the amount of female friends who almost derailed shit was way too high, for reference we are talking about a visa that costs $10k and requires hundreds of pages of documentation. Some examples. "Ohh that visa is easy, my friends applied and got it in two weeks, you just need to…

Depends on how the divorce is going, if it's an amicable divorce then no but if she's currently in the process of screwing me over then I not only use it against her in divorce, I also try to get a DUI against her and have it affect her insurer too, all stops get pulled out in that case.

Each of these they offer 50%, thing is I already make six figures writing software and I know the difference between profitable and pipe-dream. As a guy who works in software Ive yet again agreed to "help out" two seperate friends with their startup ideas only to once again find out it's a situation where they have an idea and expect me to do the entire business + writing software part of it. FFS if I thought your idea had legs I would have just stolen it, if you believe in it so much why don't you learn to code dumbasses.

Yes, going back to my teens and early 20's the girls who slept around always got invited to stuff, mainly because guys knew they were down for it. I remember a handful of girls who were always around and always getting invited to the same parties I was at and I remember dudes exact words being like "she's pretty chill and always down for a good time". So yeah you are absolutely going to get a reputation for it and be treated as such. Never saw it end up in a SA situation though, just guys didn't…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/24 02:43 PM

It's impossible for a woman to pursue her passions (like fashion blogging, photographer, event coordinator, etc) and live a certain lifestyle (kids, upper middle class, traveling the world, etc) in this economy on a single income. Thing is women literally fought for this economy and voted in policies that made things the way they are. I am married, I can see plainly why most men aren't because when I was single it was clear that the overwhelming majority of women are not marriage material.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/24 09:56 AM

Lmao, that describes basically every redditor child free couple I've known irl when the woman gets into her mid 30s they either break up or she gets pregnant.

I'm a pretty good looking guy, A lot of the issues I've had were seeing how willing women who were in relationships were to cheat with me when I was younger, they would openly talk down about their husbands and bfs too while we were hooking up. In my early 20's I didn't meet a single woman who wasn't down to cheat, the whole thing threw me off of getting into any serious relationships for over a decade.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/24 06:14 AM

It's just reality, Ive seen it my entire life way before redpill stuff existed on the internet. One example that has always stood out to me was a girl I knew who always came across as a good girl until a hot guy appeared, then she would totally change her personality, it was extremely off putting and eye opening.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/24 12:45 PM

I've been here, kind-of still am but I am taken/engaged so I ignore women. The difference between cutting and bulking time at the gym for me was 40 tinder matches a day.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/24 01:19 PM

I've lived this example. When I was out of shape 1-2 matches a week, maybe 1 date a month. When I got ripped and posted a bunch of shirtless gym pics, 40+ matches a day and 2-4 new dates each week the women willing to pay most times.

I can tell you right now that as I get into my late 30's a lot of the typical childfree Redditor couples I know have slid into two categories. Barely disguised despair and coping. Seperated because one wanted a kid once time started running out. Life is long and bragging about being childfree isn't the same when it's no longer an option.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/24 12:51 PM

No actually pretty much 21 year old women dating 35+ guys. Basically every single mildly attractive woman I know.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/24 12:39 PM

I'd say that 20's women dating 30's guys is way more common, basically every woman Ive ever met dated older guys in her 20's.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/24 11:19 AM
2

I think so. I'm a guy who's been with >150 women and in my late 20's I found myself disillusioned with women because I had seen the reality of how common it is for women to cheat on their husbands and bfs with guys like who I used to be. Eventually I found a good one but it was highly likely I would have died alone.

I think you are right on some level. When I was in my early teens all of my guy friends bragged about hooking up with girls so I put a conscious effort into finding a girl to kiss at a dance and then a year or so later put effort into finding a girl to date and sleep with. It wasn't instant, I had to work my ass off to get into that position but I couldn't imagine being in my early 20's and not knowing what to do, it would be a waking nightmare.

As someone who's had both the tone of the conversation is totally different. With actual female friends-only friends the conversation is surface level, we usually know each other through a mutual friend or they are a friends gf. The others are friends but there is an underlying tone that we can sleep with each other at any time, have likely seen each other naked or slept together in the past, we also talk about surface level stuff and our lives but I think the conversations are more honest and m…

Men really don't care how rich you are, it's not the way we are wired. It's a nice bonus if you are rich but it won't keep a guy around. I've dated two women with net worth's in the tens of millions and I dumped both of them in the end, lots of guys I know with similar stories. Yeah but your parents will die, and your siblings and cousins kids aren't yours and you aren't a priority to them, you just become that weird uncle or wine aunt at gatherings, then as you get older people focus on their own things you might see relatives only a few times a year at best. Anecdotally speaking the ones I know seem much happier, joyful and confident in their futures, a lot of them cut back to 2-3 days a week working to look after kids and the house which they seem to really like. In my line of work I also get a direct comparison to the girlboss stereotype where the bitterness is palpable and you can really sense how they are putting on a mask about how life in mid 30s is going

80/20 rule still applies in your 30's just differently. If you become successful, get fit and have friends you will have a significantly better dating life in your 30's, but we all know that a lot of men go the opposite direction.

My minimum standards are: Not fat Easy to be with and likeable. Will work out problems together. Will stick around at signs of hardship or difficult times. Basically impossible these days, I eventually found someone but I went through hundreds of women to do so.

Seriously, do they even have school dances anymore? I remember when I was a teen there was some form of school dance every few months so even if you were terrible at socialising you had 4-ish opportunities a year to meet a girl.

That's not even remotely true, it literally came from Usenet boards of guys comparing and building out techniques and posting constant feedback reports.

A better way of putting it is pua stuff was designed around guys who were already capable and experienced in going out to parties and meeting girls.

Some of the best advice I ever heard was that PUA stuff only works if you are already a 7/10 guy anyway.

It's just a weird Redditor thing, the vast majority of therapists are useless or in the case of women simply used to validate their own beliefs.

Mustn't be a Very serious crime if you don't want to file a complaint, If someone stole $20 from me it would warrant a criminal complaint, you can't claim something was a traumatic life changing event when it's not even important enough for you to go to the authorities.

There's a section of women who are cop chasers or have the attraction. Most cops I know are perpetually single since women will hook up with them but they don't have much to offer long term, the jobs pay is trash, irregular hours, high stress etc etc none of which is condusive to a long term relationship.

Unless you filed charges I'm not interested in your story. Basically every single DV case I've encountered irl it turned out she was making it up.

No, are you so dense ? repeat that pattern a hundred times over, women are not good at advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 01:31 AM

Correct, don't ask women for advice. In my youth I had a situation where I asked both a guy and a girl for advice on how to get this girl. Girl: you are totally hot, you will get her no problem! Guy: you should get a haircut, also you should go ask her out and stop annoying me with hypotheticals. Women are much more likely to just affirm your beliefs.

considerate of my feelings as a partner and my needs while expecting the same in return. Shown that they would stick with me through difficult times and that our hardships were shared. Feminine Complimentary to my life and made the relationship easy. Cooks and cleans, It matters a lot, I cook and clean but I'll take a home cooked dinner over wild sex with some tinder girl any day, it means a lot when I'm looking for wife material. Holds me to standards in a good way, I'm a lot more organised and…

Mid 30's with a partner in her late 20's. She wants 2, I want as many as I can possibly have tbh. At the end of the day being old and having a big family would be a dream for me.

As a man who eventually committed I can say it's because the vast majority of women are simply not worth it. I was going on 1-3 new dates a week before I met my fiance, I was given the rare luxury of choice as a man and honestly the women I was meeting had next to nothing to offer as a partner.

Hard disagree, maybe you put on a little bit of muscle but not enough to get the real benefits. I turned myself from average to fitness model physique over the course of 18 months, I'm talking abs and every muscle visible. I went from ~5 tinder matches a month to 40 tinder matches a day and it led me down the path of ultimately finding my true love.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 06:32 AM

Getting a 6 pack in my 30's changed my view on women drastically also.

They aren't outdated, but I wouldn't be doing this kind of thing for a girl I'd just met or barely knew. My girlfriend gets the door treatment and other stuff but that's because I actually value her.

No, It took me forever to find a woman who took "for richer or poorer" seriously, that alone makes me work harder and improve so we can stay on the richer side. She still pays for stuff when I'm not look or too slow with my card anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 01:46 PM

I never understood why so many people reccomend it, the bar for entry to therapist is shockingly low.

Not their fault, but I've seen them look at guys they passed over who then went to start a family with someone else with massive amounts of envy and regret.

As a mid 30's man who works in the corpo world id say mid 30's women. Sure they have had more opportunities but many Ive seen start getting desperate vibes it's especially bad if they are over 35, they start to realise that things like starting a family get taken off the table forever whereas atleast for mid 30's men there is still a chance. Middle aged men who missed out seem to suffer in silence or have an air of acceptance whereas I've noticed a lot of middle aged women I interact with are cl…

Not interested, before I met my girlfriend I went on dates with 12 women over 5 months, even though sex was on the table with most of them I only had it with two because honestly I'm not interested with all of the drama that follows if things don't work out.

So I know a couple where the guy was fit and well put together with a net worth >$10m and his 20 years younger wife is a really pretty and really nice lady, they are extremely happy as a couple and have a few kids who are doing great. I've had her say to me drunkenly over dinner that her choice in husband was deliberate for those reasons but she'd happily be wheeling him around in a wheelchair 30 years from now because of the amazing life she's had with him and opportunities their kids will have…

There's a lot of loser women for sure but they usually self sabotage, either by not controlling their calories or buying into modernity too much and pushing away their chances at locking a guy down. The more common one I see a lot working in the corporate world is the stereotypical boss babe trope who can't get past being a situationship at best, it's scary how common that one has become as I get older, a lot of them are really attractive too just that guys don't want a woman past childbearing a…

Yep, something that Reddit hates me repeating is that a lot of attractive people are genuinely good people because society treats them well and Foster's a sunny outlook on life based on their experiences. For example one of my family members dates a high end model, ive spent a bunch of time around her and her friends and what is always surprising is how they are so genuinely nice and caring.

This is the primary reason I stay away from a lot of men's rights and red pill style communities, it always leads to bitterness and defeatism. Obviously if you got dealt a bad hand in life and are short/ugly etc etc then I can understand, but those aren't problems that affect me personally so I shouldn't allow myself to be drawn in by their negativity. Life isn't that bad if you try.

Exactly, in my 20's sure I would have been open to it but was never a priority and I had so many other things going on with setting up my life etc. The only men I know who settled down this young were ones who were super religious or had no other options or social life.

I think it's only slightly better for men, 80/20 rule also carries over to aging lots of men look like trash in their late 30's.

I think they see it in the way a lot of other guys may see it. A lot of women who think they settled are also deluded too, sure maybe X years ago she had other options but she doesn't have them now. Also those guys she thinks she could have gotten, there's no guarantee they would have stayed around unlike the man she is with. Just saying I've seen women who think they settled but truth is they may have been confusing short term options with long term options which for most women is a huge gap. I…

Yes I go to gym or train 6 days a week and meal plan, I try to dress well and wear decent clothes, my gf also buys me excellent clothes, 6 months ago after cut I had a fitness model physique. I'm not single so yes, also the process of getting a gf involved a lot of dating and searching for someone I felt I truly matched with. Women definitely take a lot more care of their looks and how they dress, I'm totally fine wearing a potato sack by comparison.

To paraphrase a guy who wrote a lot of the early pick up artist stuff online who was interviewed recently - "none of this stuff works unless you were already capable of getting a girlfriend, it was only ever meant to be improvement"

Most men do not recover from the financial burden of divorce. You both lose everything and are saddled with massive debt. Even getting divorced in your mid 20's will put you back significantly.

I'm you except and 6'4 and an income in the range a lot of these women ask for. The problems are still the same sure you might get the woman easier on day 1 but I've now been with enough "modern women" that I can't stand them, nothing is ever good enough and they definitely don't care about your feelings. I feel like it's the exact same experience thing if you are tall but just replace the being perceived as creepy part with constant tests and jealousy.
