IMO if a girl cancels, it's fine if she also asks to reschedule and provides her availability... if not, then I don't even bother. I actually just came back from a great rescheduled first date — she had canceled yesterday night and we moved it to today. Things happen.

No idea what that means. Regardless, don't double text like that. No response is a response.

Congrats brotha. Warning: don't get attached too early on. I had the exact same experience as OP. After the first date and a few days of non-clingy texting, the girl did a 180 and stopped replying / replied a day late. A week later, she asked to hang out that very day. I agree and cancel my own plans. She then cancels on me saying she had to babysit her cousin. I ask to reschedule, she says "of course". I ask when she's free — no reply, and it's been a month.

how i see it is “no response is a response”. i’ve resisted following up for a month now

what if it's a girl that ghosted me after a good first date? we texted for a while, she asked me to hang out for a second date. i say yes. she proceeded to cancel. I asked to reschedule, she says sure, but then never replies to when she's free. that happened a month ago, i haven’t double texted yet. but she still liked my instagram photos wtf fuck girls

awesome yeah that's a good plan. you're right, if she isn't prioritizing me anymore then she's no longer worth my time despite how well we got along. just knowing why would be nice

Yeah spot on, it was from Tinder and we had been texting for like a month before finally meeting up.

The only "fault" I can think of is the delay in me asking her out to a second date (waited 4-5 days before bringing it up)

I turn 21 tomorrow and would like some tips about drinks for a date. Do I suggest a bar or club? What should I order? How do I even order? I've had my fair share of alcohol, but during college parties / pregame — I've never ordered something formally. Super excited to replace getting coffee or ice cream with drinks though! The environment seems much more favorable

Why wait 4 days? Is the gap of no contact perceived as advantageous?

How do you show it instead of verbalize?

Wait so if I want to get back with my ex (she ended it a week ago cause i kept doing small things that made her annoyed) should I not text her?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
