Met on hinge 2 years ago. I’m now 28 and he’s 27. Swiped right because he seemed like he was looking for a relationship and didn’t have photos of him clubbing or going to raves (I’m not into partying). He also didn’t have shirtless mirror selfies (screams f**boi) and he didn’t have kids. He also had a picture with a cat and I love cats.

So this is for when I first start talking to a guy. I try to match the flow of conversation. For me guys always initiate the very first text and I’d say I’m pretty good at keeping a text conversation going. If a guy ever replies with a one word text or a reply that doesn’t allow for the conversation to keep going, I don’t text back. If he initiates later on then I’ll be a little more confident that he’s into me. Once the relationship is more established and we know we both have feelings for each…

I’m 28 and have been in the exact same position. I didn’t go on dates for all of last year given the state of the world and I just didn’t find it worth my time. I would take time out of my day and spend money to look pretty, drive to meet guys, and have boring dates and realized at the end of dates I would’ve rather just sat home watching Netflix.
