It's typically not SOP. I mean, people can get away with complements and implied complements.. but most PUAs eventually find that it's better to steer away from that sort of thing. It's generally good for the PUAs own philosophy or mental well being too. So she's hot, who cares? There's a million hot girls out there tonight.

I kinda like this, but it only works for people who are willing to use 'belt-buckle' personalities (of course). But also maybe: self imposed nickname business cards dog tags [give her one, tell her you'll be back for it (but really have like 100 of them made)] pronounce it differently (no 'H') don't give them your real name, I don't. When I meet new women, I frequently use a character from fiction as my name, then I can talk about what my real name is to her later. It adds a sense of mystery to …

i am getting confused about whats on her mind and if i should continue being in touch? No. If she wanted to be with you she would, sorry. Another thing, if you're thinking about making a show of affection to 'change her mind' or anything like that, don't. This almost never works out, because women decide if someone could be a potential partner or not very quickly, once that window of opportunity is gone, it's gone.

I'm going to take a trip to Japan Are you white? If so, I wouldn't worry about picking up women, they'll come to you.

This is what I was looking for, something short and to the point about how this is just hate fueled propaganda. I've got news for these people, there are some strong men out there who want more from other people than their bodies. Being a women does not make it ok to condemn the actions of all men because women feel that they are are in a unique situation of being fearful in public, they are not. And that fact that this appears to be a teacher (I can't really tell, the post sort of confusing) sp…

I thought it was am attempt at teaching kids to be man-haters. I'll tell you one thing, the person who wrote this doesn't give a shit about the way gays are treated. She validates the kids fearful response by saying that all girls rightfully feel the same way.

I've been proud of this fact too. Mostly because reddit as a whole is like, what, 80% guys already? The fact that so many women are drawn here is a testament that this community is definitely not chauvinistic.

Really? I did it all the time in college l but I would never do it on my own volition (I do it for work too but the subject matter is not conversation worthy). Maybe it's just me but "I'm reading these books right now" seems phoney.

As you seemed to have guessed, this isn't exactly the subreddit to ask this question. I feel compelled to critique and point out everything you've done wrong here, but considering you don't consider yourself a student of PUA, I'll just skip it and say: You should study seduction.

You can have the desire to lose the oneitis without the desire to meet new women, work on that. Chances are that when you do get over her, you'll be on the prowl again. Just a heads up.

lol you'd be surprised how many people end up on this situation (got number!!... now what??) Firstly, wait a couple of days. just long enough to make her think that this isn't a big deal to you (and it shouldn't be, btw) but not long enough that she forgets about you. As for what to say to her when you actually do call, I would read the sidebar here for advice on that. Can't go wrong there.

I was saying that your observation about being 'nice' not working is like the founding principle of PUA.

I keep 2 or 3 books on the coffee table. (This is mostly a shit test, if they don't like to read it's a deal breaker). make them look like they are really being read, unlike coffee table books. Better yet, actually be reading them. So I'd limit it to one book.

Should I use precautionary measures or just go for it? I can tell you right now that if you use 'precautionary measures' (I have to assume your talking about some kinda AFC shit here) you will probably regret it later. This is what we call a fools mate. If you want it, just go for it. The only thing that can get in the way at this point is yourself.

You're probably going to have to study some seduction, not just look for a few quick tips. I'll tell you why. I do have a type: tall (I am 5'8", and I want to be able to wear my four inch heels and still feel feminine and petite), athletic (I melt for a guy who played football or lacrosse in college) you could be waiting years before you meet someone with these conditions who is interested in you if you are following conventional dating methods. You are going to have to study PUA, be very attrac…

I always tell myself I wouldn't do it unless the girl is unhappy with her current relationship. I've never been in that situation though, all of them made it quite clear that they were unhappy when I asked about it. I think the worst one was this girl who had been seeing this guy for 4 years. He was unemployed and living with the girl and her parents, she supported him financially. Whenever she left for work he would hit her dog. I considered a service to her to help break them up, honestly. I t…

I wouldn't do it to girls that you've "been eying for weeks." Do it to random hot girls to start, that way if they reject you it won't feel like such a big deal. I want to stress though that Its never a big deal. there's nothing truer than: there's other fish in the sea.

If she wanted to be with you she would, sorry. The problem is that she's known you for so long... that there is no ground to make with her, she has already filed you under "undesirable" in her mind months ago. It is almost impossible to change someones mind after that.

I guess it depends on the point that the BF/brother finds out. Honestly, I think the most dangerous place to be is when you first approach. And honestly, you couldn't have known if they are single or not at that point. So, there's really nothing to fight about in that situation. I say something like "It's cool bro I didn't know" and they usually skulk off pretty fast. On the other hand, I've slept 4 women with boyfriends who have found out about it (that I am even aware of, probably much more) a…

I am pretty fashion conscious, in good shape, and generally better dressed than most of my guy friends. You say this like its not masculine, but it is. Don't worry about it. I also am pretty good evaluating a women's outfit and being able to compliment them. You just lost me. Don't do that, in fact, I'd stray away from complementing them all together. There is a time and a place for complements, but its certainly not during the opening.

I leave my session every 2 weeks with this newfound zest for life, but it goes after five minutes -talk to as many people in those five minutes as you can. -do you exercise? It raises your serotonin levels AND makes you look better. Do it. -my psy 101 teacher would have recommended alcohol here... but he was kinda old school. If you haven't tried drinking a little just to get the ball rolling, then I'd do that. Don't get dependent on it though, it (and any other drug you take) should be looked a…

I am a self described "dry, boring, asshole." I like to go to art galleries and watch classic movies. So I got a girlfriend that likes those things too. But sometimes I feel that people suffer from not having enough hobbies. If you think you fall into that category, I would recommend you do some soul searching and endeavor to discover more things that you like to to. Having hobbies also helps you pick up women in the first place.

yeah, I would do like a nice guy indirect approach (If you're not doing it already) again and again until you get some gigglers. Then just ask. My voice is terrible and no one has ever giggled at it or even mentioned it.

I don't really know if that was that much of a mistake. I mean, I pretend like I misunderstand girls all the time and it works very well for me when I do it. Sometimes, they get obsessed with making sure that you know what they really meant.

Yeah I agree... It felt a little harsh after i hit submit for that reason. I just wanted to point out that just about the only good thing you can get from him consistently on the aspect of PUA is the stuff like this: The most vital quality a soldier can possess is SELF CONFIDENCE–utter, complete and bumptious.

I want to begin my critique of this by stating that my grandfather directly served under this man in the 2nd armored. I am a historian and I study PUA. Finally, Everyone I have spoken to who has met this man in my life's travels has considered him an asshole (that is not to say that he did not get shit done, which was his job). 1) He doesn't believe in the power of personal transformation. Cowards are those who let their timidity get the better of their manhood. You will never do that because of…

This is a tough one. I've known a girl that kept her headphones in without any music playing because she didn't want people talking to her whatsoever, and she was very pleased with the technique. I'm gonna have to go with the ol' trip her/ knock her over. Don't just bump into her lightly and mumble something like a AFC... really knock her down. This comes from some predominant PUA, don't remember who though. I seem to remember they did it to all girls though... not because they were wearing head…

Asking if they have STD's provides 0% protection from STD's. People lie, people are uninformed, and people do things in the heat of the moment they wouldn't do otherwise. I mean, I agree with you about condoms being faulty, but at some point you have to take a risk to be happy.

I don't mean to be a dick but... what the hell are some of you posting in seduction for? The point is sleeping with many/randos/unsavory/weird women... please go back to relationship advice where those criticisms belong. Edit: this isn't directed at the OP, just some of the people on this particular thread, and a few others in seduction I saw today too.

I wouldn't be quite that direct, lol. But hey everybody works different. Overall this is they best way to go hands down though. Don't go up to her, go up to her friends. I would say to one of her friends (who you know is not in the class) "hey, are we in the same class together, I'm stuck on something maybe you can help me out with" (bullshit). Then, maybe, she'll come to you. After that, if she doesn't bite the hook, whatever, segue the conversation to her.

sounds like you're at a transitioning point in your game, that was the whole point of working on it, right? Don't be afraid of it, embrace it! I actually would try to hang out with one or two of you're coworkers to start. Just to get yourself out of the "friends at work" list and into "friends outside of work" list, not to pick them up like VMikeL correctly said. Bring up stuff like you're going to the mall to pick out a birthday present for your mom or something, try to get them to come along, …

yeah, I can't really condone doing any of this right off the jump as an opener. However, yes I've stolen plenty of girlfriends with well placed complements... doesn't work as well with single girls, I guess that makes sense though.

I would just move on. If she wanted to date you then she would. You've very young and poetic soaking in a wonderful warm bath, not too hot, not too cold, perfect. and I don't think you'll have a problem finding someone else if you can get over her. All I can say is don't be scared, but hey, isn't that the hardest thing to do in life?

Oh well of course. teasing is great. But if your not going for funny-cocky or something like that I would always speak in the affirmative.

These are the pens I use for this trick, at first glance it's just kinda a normal looking executive pen... but its not. That makes it easier for her to take it, and it becomes a conversation piece later. The ones for this site are for charity too, I can't really say anything bad about this approach. http://compare.ebay.com/like/230828662118?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar

As always, practice, practice, practice. Nobody wants to hear it but it's the answer to most problems. With just a little perseverance though, you'll get it. Go somewhere off the beaten path and purposefully do socially awkward things. We're all born with some level of social anxiety (at least that's my theory) and you've got to teach yourself that awkward social graces don't really matter.
/r/seduction02/08/12 07:52 AM

Completely agree. This pertains of course to everything else about her. Don't say "you seem nice" say "you are nice". This also goes along with being affirmative VS sounding meek. In a job interview, would you say "I think I'm a good worker" or would you say "I am a good worker"
