1,5 years post Divorce and I could not emphasize how much happier I am. Not only he’s a leech to me financially but turns out he’s bisexual/gay, no wonder he hates my down part. But everyday I am able to open my eyes and be grateful now that I can find my true self, doing things I have never did because he would not allow me like : buy sneakers, painting, go to concert (pre Covid) with my own money so, I am absolutely living my best life working for one of the biggest Tech company, adopt a kitte…

Oh my God so many of them, girl! I’m gonna check those you’ve mentioned! Way to go 🤍 Agree!! Lo Scarabeo boxes are pretty! Other than those in pictures I also have Ukiyoe Deck, Casanova Deck, Harmonious Tarot (if you love art flowers and plants, i think you’ll find this beautiful) and the mini Rider Waite 💕 they’re so pretty, right! Glad we shared the same interest!

Lol! I do love tarot reading, fairly new here. How about you?? Of course I don’t mind to share to my fellow queen! It’s Amenti Oracle, Crystal Grid Deck by Mystic Monday and the Tarot of the Divine by Yoshi Yoshitani. They have these cute illustrations and i just love em! Tell me about yours!

Even if we can’t go anywhere but I still buy dresses and make up. I love to see myself presentable for my own eyes. So I make sure each time I catch a glimpse in the mirror, I see the best version of myself for myself. And I also read, learn, expanding my hobbies. If I’m able to pick up new knowledge, I feel sexy. I also feel sexy when I can get my work done, be productive and got praise from my boss. Doing whatever I likes, able to buy anything I want, too, makes me feel sexy and empowered! Bas…

I am so, so, happy to see that many of us realizing that OLD is shit. Like literally. I paid premium for Bumble because I hate to have to look at guys unattractive/half a**ed pictures with such tiny bio details. And when we finally talk, even ones that has the similar music interest with me (People told me that it’s a silly standar, but it matters to me because I love music and I want to enjoy it with my partner) could not articulate sentences and has super super low effort, like WE are the one …

Yes, some of them are but most of them are incline to indecision due to vast option of subjects that they can just swipe when it became inconvenient. Some are love-bombing too. It’s like they’ve been giving a super power. LVM with power equals disaster. Definitely a place where all you can find almost every red flags in one place. I shuddered just to think of how my pictures presented and guy subjectified it. Lesson learnt.

After I went through an OLD rampage last year — I just know that I won’t use gamification apps to connect with people. Ever again. For men, we are a subject. We are the “Pokemon”. They swiped and if somehow lucky to catch us, meet and get the reward. And I imagine myself being with someone who met people through app, knowing that they swiped and swiped people and judging by what was presented only on the bio. Not to mention that the connection must’ve been full of red flags because it creates se…

Ugh. Me too. My patience is somehow diminished nowadays lol! Indeed. Even back in the days she was a person who needs all kind of validation because she’s not that confident so she boast around her marriages. I mean, why are you defining urself with a pseudo-happiness that you only could show off in social media.. I literally just cut a best friend off from being a pick me. About to do it to her too 😂 no more nicey

Yes! Kind of the similar situation with you. 12 years is a very long time and you definitely NEED to take time to truly know yourself, what you want, your vision etc. Because being with someone for that long especially started young can make you a bit lost. Take your time as long as you can. I’ve done it, made a peace with myself and ready to vet for future HVM 😊

They exist. But you know, kind of rare. I believe those guys that you met are LVM in disguise. But who could keep up a façade for such long time? Lol. It’s good that you spot some before even gojng further

If we trace back, it’s those patriarchal social system that shaped those kind of toxic standard. I am, too, never gets why people being judged or deemed unfit when it comes to not having any partner. Especially here in my place at SE Asia. You’re HaPpY if you’re MaRrIeD and hAVe kIdS. Ironically those who were “LuCkY” enough to have a “PeRfECt” life are ones who couldn’t stop complain and don’t want to be saved. Let’s be proud of how our improved our mindset is, and to pass it down to our childr…

Your mom is right. My ex does that. Kicked a car when he was upset, punch his motorbike and walls (it’s not often but he does that) and guess what, 7 years later, he hit me in the head. So, run as fast as you can.

“Polite” / “Kindness” / “Being the bigger person” is not going to get us anywhere. Ever. People literally described me as a very kind person and I was trying to always give and give and forgiving and then, what? They used you. For money, for sex, for every kind of their own agenda. So no, not anymore. We should invest our kindness in the right place & people :) And surely yes! Blocked his ass off! 🤣 Can only imagine how pissed he is Thank you!!

Yes girl! That silent and block thing is the most powerful move! I agree that this should be applied to every kind of situation. It just don’t make any sense that someone who disrespect us still crave for our respect to them. Nuh uh 🤣 Also agree with you about my Pickme friend. Clearly, we’re going on a different path. God knows how I tried to save her and even told her about this sub. But if there’s anyone can do the saving, it’s their own self.

Believe me you, should. First of all, that uneasy feeling that you have is your guts telling you that you need to be careful. Never ignore those even when it doesn’t feel like the guy do anything harm now. It’s understandable that you felt conflicted and weird for stop contacting him. But you have to love yourself more than anyone. By pushing yourself to keep contact with that guy, you’re doing yourself a harm. Not in a physicall way, but mentally. Reject the perception that you have to be kind …

Do things you want to do, find more hobbies, find some interesting subject to learn, enjoy your own company, you are never lonely because you are born individual and you need to accept that and start dating yourself. Treat yourself as you want to be treated. Feeling “Lonely” and the needs to have company indicates that you still need external distraction and it’s unhealthy. Practice self love and you’ll never feel that way again

Last year was the ultimate pick me year of my life. But I did Level Up so much this year!! I also leave all those LVM/NVMs in my life! I finalized my divorce with ex husband in January. Went on an OLD period where I’m this super pickmeisha that got lovebombing from a guy whom I never met to the point of crying on my birthday over anxiety. Settled with less in an exclusive situationship with a guy who couldn’t properly brush his teeth (And this guy even still swiping around in OLD town when I tol…

“I wish I met you 10 years ago” “If we both ended up not with our respective partner, will we have a relationship?” “If you were in a happy marriage, would this all be happening?” “I want to be there for you when you’re in the trial process, I know it’s going to be hard” He was in 7years relationship with a girl, I was married but in a separation process. He was the kind of guy who tick all the boxes. Smart, cultured, musically compatible, humble, etc. I thought what we had was friendship and de…

Ooh A LOT. But my favorites are : He told me that I’m a prostitute because I demanded him to pay for his own wedding tux, told me to find a pimp if I need that much of a money when he knows that I paid for all of our life expense and contributes 80% of the wedding cost. And honeymoon. And basically everything. For a whole damn 12 years. He refused to go buy mineral water when I was sick and I really needed to drink When he refused to pay our food that cost only a dollar (I’m from SE Asia) When t…

Funny thing is, women is much more able to compartmentalize friendship and relationship. I once had a crush on my bestfriend, and not surprised that I learned he likes me too. But when things got messy, he stopped being friends with me. I also met a guy in OLD, attracted to him but I cut him off after I know things won’t be progressing further but he reached out again and we’re settling on being friends (he’s quite nice, never make a move and we’re communicating only under a circumstance and a t…

So happy to read this post and comments! Sex isn’t all cracked up to be! I haven’t had sex for almost a year! At first I thought it would be hard. But turns out it’s not a big of a deal! Especially when you have lotsa thing to explore and improve! Also quitting OLD. Not worth the time, effort and emotion investment. I’m very attractive. When I used Bumble and paid for premium, the list of guy that swiped me right was always 50+ Never had difficulties in match. But I found that guy who use OLD ha…

I love this post! I was always thought that ideally we need to be paired up with someone and somehow my empath traits drove me to an endless pickmeisha vicious cycles. I got anxious to the point of crying on my birthday due to this stupid scrote. Once I had a relationship with an HVM ex, I never felt anxious because he truly loved me and wanted me and now I’m setting up standards to have what I had with him (even better) in my next relationship. I’m sorry to hear her experiences. I’ve had some share of stalkers in my life as well. But this is worth mentioning because it’s an example of a modern day stalker I’ve been virtually stalked by a guy that likes me from when I was in college. It’s creepy as hell. Background story, I was told that I’m being too nice to guys. And I did, admit that I was. I was following back this guy in Insta, sometimes he commented my posts and I reacted with emoji or liked. when I was on my divorce process, I de…

As for me, I tried both (tell it straight away or tell it after I trust the person) and I guess it won’t ever matter anyway if they’re really interested with us as a person. Just trust your guts! I was devalue myself due to this because in my country, divorced woman are stigmatized to the point of degrading and I remember crying (on my previous pickmeisha days) because I didn’t know how to tell my dating prospects that I’m a divorcee and turns out he’s an NVM so, why bother? Lol It’s your choice…

So sorry for you! Please always tell your whereabouts to your friends or even share you live locations when you met a guy from OLD. We just had a murder case where the murderer met the victim through OLD. And blocked that second guy too. Don’t let him have even the time of your day because he’s likely a narcissist! 🤢 Sharing to you that I stopped using OLD. All the guys that I met there are LVM. Truly agree. After rotten in a hole for 12 years with toxic husband to the point I got physically abused (please note that I provide for him too), now I never felt so free and happy, same goes to all the wrong guys I’ve encountered with. Look who still want to know my life? Bye sucker 😊
