Logic is only a small part of your rhetorical repertoire. For you or me, being right is far more important than winning the argument. But most people don't see it that way. For most people "winning" the argument is the most important thing. That means emotional and ethical appeals are fair game. Shame tactics and social manipulation are fair game. Lying, exaggerating, and omitting important details is fair game. Logical fallacies are fair game. You can call them out on one shitty argument, and t…

They were originally only worn by men, until women figured out it makes their butt pop out.

Getting a gun makes it more likely for you to get in some serious shit because it gives you this false sense of safety. Know what you do when you don't have a gun? You get the fuck out of there.

It is highly likely that the encounter will end badly for the woman. You might think that, but no, it's not. It's highly likely the dudes know not to hit women or face some serious consequences, it's pretty rare that the dude will say "Fuck it!" and beat the shit out of her. The women know the risk is low, they have seen it countless of times, and they go for it. They have the police on their side by default.

Jab in the throat or eyes works wonders too. Sure it's scummy, but it's what you do when your life is actually in danger.

Not even a joke. Sinks are usually at perfect junk-height for me.

Women feel threatened by this design. They need their safe space away from all the pervert rapists.

See how fast a dude gets expelled after he tries to shit in a woman's room. FTFY

More likely just a good old fashion ass-kicking by some white-knights.

Check out /r/trollxchromosomes Where the "weird" and "quirky" girls go. They are like totally different from all the other girls, like oh my gosh! /s

Nope. These chicks stand on a pedastal made out of thirsty nerds, if one nerd falls two come to take his place. The only winning move is not to play.

It's women who think they are "le master troll" by doing things they think are quirky but they are just being typical boring women. It's a sub for every girl who has said "I'm just not like other girls".

So maybe the masculinity crisis is leading to porn and videogames?

Yeah protein bars for the most part suck. It's hard to find one in a store that's not like 30-50% sugar. My ideal snack of choice would be beef jerky but is too darn expensive!

This is a great chart, I love it. I guess I don't disagree with you, most of my fat and oil comes from natural food, it's not like I deep-fry everything and take shots of vegetable oil and bacon grease. Personally me and my family never had a problem with dairy, I think I'm part of the European genetic line that evolved to fully digest it. I did a few experiments of fully cutting dairy out, as well as fasting before eating nothing but dairy for a while, and I didn't notice any problems. However …

Got any tips for improving discipline/willpower? I always gerbil myself out of things and I hate myself for it. Exercise and a low-carb diet helps significantly, but I tend to weasel my way out of those things too often too. It's a terrible cycle.

You think eating fat is unhealthy? I don't think there's anything wrong with it other than it being calorically dense, which isn't a problem for some people. I love eating a high fat and high protein diet, it keeps me satiated for a long time and keeps my mood stable unlike carbs.

Seriously, and they put "sweets" right next to fats and oils when sweets are far closer to grains. The food pyramid is not for the benefit of your health, it's for the benefit of feeding a nation cheaply. South park did an episode about it and got it correct by flipping it.

I thought you were about to write something about dining etiquette and I was gonna rant about it, but I came into this thread and was pleasantly surprised with this top-notch post. They should be teaching kids this shit instead of the food pyramid. Too bad the same people that subsidize corn and sugar are the ones teaching our kids.

There was a news story about a dude in china that sued a woman who gave him really ugly kids because she had a lot of plastic surgery done.

The liberal/conservative thing is way too vague. The cynic inside of my thinks it's vague by design. Libertarian/Authoritarian is much easier to understand.

Yup. Women also inheritly know about these types of manipulations and see right around them. They clearly see that the guy who is talking shit feels threatened.

Also there isn't such a thing as a man who is Alpha or Beta. Just like you can't automatically say someone is smart or dumb. It's a wide spectrum and everybody has qualities of both. It's just a generalization we use to get the concept across.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
