Nah she also knowingly performed blood tests on people that they knew would not give them accurate results because they had to dilute the samples to make up for the volume. They just ignore that part

Many states just legally took away women's choice but lots of people are cool with that for some reason.

Children can't consent, legally or morally. You can ague the low end of legality is 16ish, but the morality part in unambiguous when one party is a full adult.

I literally never said they can't. My boss is a woman and she is wonderful. I said when women tried to hire only other women and discriminate against men, it did not work out- because of the reasons found in this study. I don't know where you or the other commenter came up with that strawman argument.

Tell me where the line is where a murder becomes just, and when it isn't. I will leave that to the judges There is no thing as a just murder by a civilian True, but they are all on a spectrum. In this case, decades of prison did not seem appropriate to the judge. You are conflating being 'just' with the severity of the punishment. The judge clearly saw that the murder was wrong and in violation of the law, but the punishment is where his judicial leeway was appropriate in his view. The man is st…

You're equating fear of a hypothetical or possible crime justifying murder is more correct and appropriate than raping your son repeatedly justifying murder. I am not saying I support vigilante justice, but I also have no sympathy for a dead child rapist.

He didn't let him go completely, he determined that the father was not a risk to society, and made sure he was not by a lengthy probation sentence, which if he violated he would have to serve the full sentence. If the rapist simply broke into this man's home and was shot in the head, the law says that is completely justified. Is opening a door as serious a crime as repeatedly raping a child over and over? That is why judicial discretion exists.

Hm that sounds like mandatory minimum sentencing for drug offenders. Also, judges are allowed to and supposed to take into account the facts of every case to determine the sentencing. That is literally their most important function.

I live in Manhattan and the amount of entitled women (and a few men but uncommon here) not picking up their dog's shit is infuriating. Think of the logistics of how this ruins someone's day everyday - complicated by living in an apartment: You are rushing to the train to get to work and step in a huge pile of greasy dog shit, and slide a little as you do, almost falling because you are wearing flat leather-soled dress shoes, not sneakers. You cannot just go back to your house and use the hose to…

You could and should sue her for damages in civil court, you can find a lawyer that will take it pro bono since she filed false charges against you in which the charges were dropped. If not, shit it a paper bag and staple it to her door.

I never claimed that. I don't have an issue with anonymous reporting of crimes, I have an issue when arrests are made based on anonymous tips without investigation, which has happened in the US. Since this happened in the UK, the teachers name was not made public nor was the record of arrest, if there was one.

I hope you get falsely accused and spend time in prison if you think the punishments for false accusers are sufficient, such as community service.
/r/MensRights01/02/17 07:33 PM
6

Community Service? The guy would've been in prison for years - and lost his career, his family, his home, and any chance of a normal future. Malicious false accusations should be punished by the maximum prison sentence for the accused's crime, since that was the goal of the false accuser in the first place. Fuck her and fuck anyone that sympathized with her, since the investigation showed she did this to multiple people throughout her career.
/r/MensRights01/02/17 07:07 PM
16

This was in the UK, but arrests from false accusations happen in the US all the time. Being anonymous doesn't change that fact, just makes it easier for the accuser to hide their identify before a trial.

Um, it would prove she wasn't a minor nor his student?
/r/MensRights01/02/17 06:36 PM

/r/MensRights01/02/17 06:35 PM

While I agree with that, how would you feel if I anonymously accused you of being a pedophile, dragging you through an arrest, jailtime, all before a costly trial? You'd lose your job and who knows what else, for nothing. The accuser gets minimal criminal repercussions (no prison in this case).

To be fair, he's the first president to commute hundreds of drug convicted felons' sentences. There is literally a multi-faceted war between the states, the DoJ, the DEA, private prison lobbies, police unions, corrections unions and the citizens. It's insane to see how entrenched unfair drug laws are, even to the point of integration into states' yearly budgets in the billions of dollars.

No, the police investigated and he had texts from her that shows the sex was consensual. She really tried to have him arrested and expelled for a year.
