15	Do Something December I suggest that you google "popular hiking trails near zip code". Do a little research and start with something small. Bring a bag with some water and maybe an extra sweatshirt or whatever your local climate is going to require. Get used to walking in the woods a few miles at a time. Figure out which shoes are comfortable, what clothes you like. Start buying basic, inexpensive backpacking/camping gear.
