that's a great vision and something even I'm aiming towards; a stable eclectic brand of music that circulates the mainstream but isn't taylor swift pop. how about fusing those two? from what I've observed, successful new artists are let's say 30-50% unique and 50-70% conventional in their music and branding. Take Travis Scott for example in 2013/14. In my country it is a VERY big deal. Now people might be a bit desensitized by liberal thinking in the west but people with culture, social value and such(excluding celebs) don't see it as a good thing. thanks for the answer. I think one of the things JBP himself teaches is 'don't do or say things that make you weak' From my personal experience weak parents either let disrespectful things from their kids pass as 'childish' or some other bs term or joke around too much and don't really have weight to their words. I found it out recently as well and it broke my heart for all the pain and frustration my own belief caused me all these years. I felt like crying, it was like watching my son get beat up in school. I've promised to treat myself with dignity and respect and second question every decision I make because I could be operating on old beliefs again. Gotta be vigilant until it all changes for good. I kinda had that situation but it wasnt marriage but she went abroad.. knowing that they liked you all along but none of you dared to take the step, is more painful than anything.. but fuckit. it's been like 2 years and now i'm with other girls and i forgot her in six months though it was fuckin wet pillows on the first week...
