There are actual physiological differences between men and women, and PE is made to bring everyone to a standard that makes sense. There's a pretty high rate of dropouts in basic for every MOS. I don't think this is really that surprising if you were to look at the statistics and this seems to have a bit of a "Isn't this a surprise?" spin on it. While this may be the wrong conclusion it is also (partially) good advice. It's the same thing as telling a woman to dress moderately when going to an area known for rapists. You can't just tell a rapist "HEY! Don't rape people" and he'll be like "Oh, is that how the world works?" but you can warn people to be careful in a known dangerous area until you can fix the danger.

I agree that there is a lot of misdiagnosis of ADD and ADHD, but I think that a lot of the misdiagnosis comes from the feminism of the classroom, as female personalities are easier for teachers to cope with, so they force it on all students. edit: I always dick up the links.

An interesting position, but I think that making it more palatable would garner more support and make the movement more effective. Take the civil rights movement for example - MLK was more successful in getting support and ultimately furthering the cause than the black panthers, and he preached civil disobedience.

Fair enough. I'm approaching this from a purely logical and analytic standpoint. I have no invested emotion in the movement and I'm not very good with empathy. I suppose I could have worded that better. Feminism's goal is supposed to be equal rights, and Men's Rights is supposed to be equal rights, so these alleged goals coincide. I know, it's not reality at all. I have not experienced the hostile feminist in person before, but I have seen plenty of it on the internet and I get the jist. It seems like disassociating the MRM from Feminism may be the way to go. I realize that the two groups will end up disagreeing over many of the points, because the MRM is trying to undo some of the things that Feminism has accomplished, but I don't think the two groups are really contrary to one another.

I'm kind of new to this way of thinking, but i completely identify with how you came to most of those conclusions. I would probably end up at the same place you did, only to later realize the magnitude of what happened. I was brought up to be tough and just take the blows as they come (figurative...)
