Huh, the opposite happened at my school once (elementary school). A boy was teasing me nonstop, so I kicked him in the thigh. I was suspended and scolded because "if I missed, I could have seriously damaged his genitals and scarred him for life." Then a month later a boy kicked me in the groin with boots, and didn't get suspended, detention, even grounded (his mother knew my mother).

Any girl wearing heels who says "Guyyys slow down my feet hurrrt" will get zero sympathy from me. You chose to wear those shoes that you know are gonna end up hurting you after a couple hours. You didn't have to. If I wear heels and my feet hurt I suck it up and try not to inconvenience anyone else :/

I live in Ontario too, I can't tell you how many times I was marked low purely for my opinion, when it should have been for writing. I know that feel, bro. I wouldn't give up. Take it to the principal and explain what happened, if she sides with the principal then I'd go to the next higher-up, school board, press, whatever. Don't go down without a fight.

Fixed, thank you so much for pointing that out. I had an un-blocked out version to share with a close friend of mine and I replaced the file on imgur, apparently not.

Most, not all. I went to two high schools in two different counties and it was only required by one of them. Also I know a couple people from different counties and countries who didn't have Animal Farm on the list. Regardless, I love this submission. Made me laugh, but also made me a little sad because of its accuracy.

I'm a girl. I joined this subreddit because I believe in equal rights, not "one is better than the other" Women have been discriminated against in the past (not being allowed to vote, etc.) and I find it awful that "feminism", etc has gone from wanting equal rights to I HAVE A VAGINA STUPID MEN YOU'RE ALL RAPISTS etc etc.. I don't really have a story or a driving force that brought me here or made me feel strongly towards this movement, other than my distaste for unfairness. (is that even a word…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
