4	Mother in law told police I molested my daughter. I didn't. This might be a long shot, but does your MIL have any history of mental illness? Even something as pedestrian as anxiety or depression can be framed advantageously by a skilled attorney. It sounds like she may even have been medicated if she caused such problems wi your BIL and his wife. This could be a chink in the armor of her reliability. Not to split hairs, but at least in the US it's a jury that comes to a verdict, not the judge. I just discovered it formally a few weeks ago after years of not being able to fully (or safely) express a counterpoint to what never sat quite right with me in modern feminism.
