No it never has and it is terrifying that some women think it is. Women are really social creatures and we groupthink a lot. But if bias and discrimination exist they have to exist equally amongst all groups - little brains want to put rules on things and not allow uncomfortable paradoxes.

I often find the people in my life who are traumatised are just too damn tired to do any work on their patterns. Bringing it back to the subject of the sun, I wonder how men’s rights would advocate for healing trauma?

After browsing a bit here I think you’re right. I don’t recognise the overriding feminist narrative of the last twenty years. I thought it was about things like closing pay gaps and calling out institutions that openly discriminated (against many groups, not just women), but nowadays it’s about shutting men out and deriding them for wanting human contact and empathy. I get it, women do the same thing ‘oh I can’t understand how to do this thing, it’s too hard for me’ and gets a man to do it for them (drives me mad!). But giving any person some basic respect and not looking down your nose at them - if it’s a trauma response how do you go about supporting the person to recognising and overcoming it? They’re likely going to get triggered by any attempt aren’t they?
