Well if we wanna be adults here…. just because she may or may not be talking to 2-3 guys at once doesn’t mean u need to be doing the same. This has nothing to do with your choices. Meaningful relationships 101, whether ur looking for something serious or not. This logic almost never works out for men or women in my experiences

just shared age and gender to prove that this kind of thing can happen to everyone! i know a lot of girls who still struggle with this concept. i did the same thing for a while (almost bail on absolute catches because they weren’t supposed to actually like me). my subconscious mind would always seem to find the men who weren’t actually interested in me to grow attachments to. it was like an addiction, and it was really hard to get past that.

proud of u for doing that. i’m 21F and struggled with this HEAVY for the first half of my college career. worked on myself pretty intensively for a year (no therapy but i could prob still use it for other reasons) decided to stop seeking out guys completely and taught myself how to be okay with being by myself. in effect this taught me how to love myself as a person. and now i’m in the best relationship of my life.

<.11111% chance you’ll get any responses from a simple “hey”

probably means u have some deep rooted insecurity within yourself. u don’t like women that like you because you don’t understand why they would (because you don’t even like yourself), and thus you don’t respect them. focus on yourself for a while

every gf has done these things?

no i literally said that if it’s become a pattern it’s a red flag for you. not saying it’s your fault but u have to think about what actions you take to possibly make these girls feel insecure with you. it would be different if it was only one girl that was insecure.

i can definitely understand ur point of view i don’t want to attack you i just want to help you understand an outside POV. most important question: what behaviors make you think these girls are insecure? is it the things they say about themselves or is it always about their relationship with you?

it’s a pattern man u have to grow up

no. i said if a woman was on here talking about how MULTIPLE MEN she tried to date were all insecure i would tell her to look inward just like what u came on here and did.

don’t continue to make yourself the butt of the joke. i did this for a long time and it really affects the way you view yourself and the way others (including girls) view you as well. i wouldn’t focus on the girl aspect tho, focus on loving yourself and being happy without a gf first.

also there’s been no bias in any responses i’ve seen, and if it was a woman writing these things about men she’d been dating i would say the exact same thing. cmon now

i mean i can understand where you’re coming from. but having a victim complex won’t help you ive been there believe me. it’s just important to be said…if you’re experiencing the same issue with multiple people you have to start looking at yourself first!!! that’s the mature route. take a break from girls and focus on yourself, you’ll find the right one when you’re ready for it but it doesn’t seem like you are right now.

i definitely don’t think an escort service will lead to success in this field. when you say you’re uncomfortable with intimate conversations, what do you mean by that? like in a sexual sense, or the idea of sharing deep feelings with another person?

eye contact is great but it definitely doesn’t mean a woman is interested. i (21F) find myself making consistent eye contact on accident with many men at bars and such that i wouldn’t be interested in off the bat. best bet is to just put yourself out there and talk to people! what’s the worst that could happen?? but ultimately just do what feels right.

honestly this sounds more like a you problem. fix yourself first it takes a lot of hard work and deep inward though but if ur consistently finding yourself with this issue, the problem has to be with you.

this means u have to look inward my friend. ask yourself why you might attract insecure girls / if u make girls insecure yourself. be real w yourself

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
