Is it possible for me to say NAWALT without being ridiculed? Because I'm telling you, its true. I know for an absolute fact that, as a female, I'm not like this. I insist on coming over with cold and flu medicine to chill out and provide tissues when my SO is sick. If my ex were to tell me he were seriously ill or dealing with family/relationship issues I would offer my condolences and wish them the best. I probably wouldn't want to be a massive support system for him (we broke up for a reason),…

Same. A lot of the friends I have now (exempt from my one best friend who really is neutral to it all, tends to avoid feminists but isn't necessarily red pill) are genuinely interesting and fun to be around. It is the toxicity of that ideology that makes me think I should distance myself from them. It outweighs their fairly great other qualities because it really is full on. I hope so. It's a community I'd really like to be a part of. I think it'll be handy to distinguish the guys that are only …

To be honest, mostly my feminist friends. It was something that was brought up occasionally. Not everyone knew what it was, just that it was anti feminism. I also had friends bring up Roosh V (I'll be honest, I don't particularly like him) which lead me to watch some of his videos. He also mentioned the red pill a couple of times. I just decided to do some googling and eventually realised I agreed with a lot of the mentality. Obviously not the whole picking up chicks thing, as that's not exactly…

I think you underestimate the liberal area I live in.

Thankyou so much for this recommendation. I've already watched a few of her videos and subscribed to her youtube channel. I especially love her view on slut-shaming, she breaks everything down so well. She basically just squashed every feminist's point on that topic. It's so true as well - things like slut-shaming are primarily inhibited by women themselves. Women will call other women sluts. Men do this as well, but usually after women have said it to kind of join in on it (or some kind of douc…

I can really only speak from my personal experience, from the advice I've been given by extreme feminists (which I've acted on) and what I've noticed is unhealthy after distancing myself from it. First and foremost, women can do NO wrong. There is absolutely nothing that a woman can do that can't be blamed on men. You're always told to blame it on the 'male dominated society' we live in. There is never any self-improvement, never bettering yourself to improve your relationships. The only thing y…

Certainly not. But I think it's always good to try and create a space where people are talking about it at least (which trp does). Even though it is more for personal benefit, I think that's something. My motivation is more a personal thing (my relationships, my life, my outlook), but I think trp has somewhat of an impact on society. However small it may seem. Maybe it isn't changing the world but it's going against the societal tide which is something. I don't necessarily think that it is a los…

I don't know what trp's stance is on male rape victims, but this has always been a focus for me. And a great motivator in my detachment from feminism. I have known a few male rape victims who have been ridiculed for what happened to them, simply because they are male. Often by men and women, but especially by blue pill women. This is kind of correlated with woman-male domestic abuse. It seems it is more socially acceptable now for men to be abused, sometimes even with the blame put on men. While…

I don't see why it wouldn't make sense? Curiosity can be a very strong motivation in wanting to know things. This is common knowledge. And trp isn't exactly an obscure, indie subreddit. It's fairly well know. I've seen youtubers talk about it for example. Thankyou, but I'm not afraid or worried about asking questions. At this point in time, I don't see any reason to ask a personal question. I wouldn't know where to start with what problems I may or may not have as I don't know enough about trp. …

At least where I live, this is untrue. Women may be super interested in a guy but whether or not they pay can be a deal breaker. Despite any kind of efforts the guy makes for the rest of the date, they will remain bitter and sure that there will be no second date. Even if he maintains an alpha stance from then onward. I think splitting it on the date is a great way to weed out women like this. But again, where I live, being a woman knowing many other women, this is the overall reaction to men wh…

I'm starting to understand it all a bit more now. It's more about positive character building for men in general than just relationships with women. I guess it is just easier to see that particular part of it more often as it probably what is most focused on as far as social media goes (which is how I've ended up here). I'll definitely go look at Red Pill Women. I am in the process of wanting to detach myself from the feminist culture I'm surrounded by and the way that encourages myself and othe…

Thanks for replying! I can see that TRP is, as a whole, more about self-improvement in general than just women. From my little exposure to this kind of stuff it has seemed heavily oriented by women and getting laid. But I think that has been more a matter of certain content I've seen/a surface perspective rather than a real reflection of what it's actually about. For what my two cents are worth, I think it's really great. And I can definitely agree with that last part. Most women, in my experien…

I'm a female and I always offer to go dutch on dates. Simply because I think it's fair. I've done this on one occasion though where the guy took great offence. He saw it as me thinking less of him or his financial status or something. It was a weird experience as I thought I was being considerate by offering, as most men won't due to fear of the woman acting out. It has been so heavily implanted in society that men must pay for dates. It's 'weird' if the woman pays now. And a lot of women and me…
