Jaw surgery/implants are also doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

Not men in general, but I’m also not surprised when it comes to men in their 40s. Most people who wanted marriage, men very much included, have already married by that age. On top of that, there’s a new cohort of divorcees who are understandably less eager to remarry. So if you look at men in their 40s as a whole, they don’t appear dramatically different from other age groups in their attitudes toward marriage. Keeping all that in mind, I'm not surprised about the the drop-off among single men i…

Thank youuuu!! He has deleted that account, but all the info is very useful, I'll pass it on :) (maybe it's a good idea we delete these comments, so we don't get any scolding)
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 12:14 PM

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that 🥺 If you wish to talk to someone, my chat is always open for old buddies. In any case, I hope whatever it is, it can slowly start improving🤞
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 12:10 PM

Heyyy long time no see! How have you been? Yes, you do likely know who is the menace in question haha
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 11:01 AM

Thanks for the help! But he got perma and that makes it harder cause reddit autodetects him pretty soon.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 08:49 AM

Is it state or is it motherland, cause those are the two completely different things? I just find it a funny kind of sad, cause nationalism is a relatively modern concept.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 08:46 AM

Does anyone know how to make an account after the mod hammer fell permanently onto you? Someone has been on my case to help him with it, but frankly I don't know how?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 08:38 AM

Lol how delightful! Long have I dwelt away from my throne, to now behold a new King proclaimed! Yet diligent and tireless in duty he has been, not a day missed in his sacred charge. Verily, his omnipresence in these hallowed halls well deserves recognition. This new Lurkarian age dawns as PPD stands uncertainly poised on the brink of diminishment. He, whose middle-age passes in the august, unchallenged, and tranquil glories of his victorious PPD era, may yet stir in us once more the thrill of pr…

So if you can find 2 men wiling to go on LTR within a single day, it's the equivalent of going to a buffet and saying there's not enough food. The fact they are willing means nothing if she isn't willing to consider them for some reason. And wow your criteria is what, age range and willigness to commit, truly a buffet lol. The same way if a man found a woman willing to commit to him, but he isn't interested, it doesn't make it a viable match. Right and everyone knows that any woman who asks any …

Nope, that was tested by /u/KingofRheinwg here to show there's actually a steady supply of men willing to commit. Oh and where is that steady supply of men willing to commit? All I see is men willing to go out on a first date, only 2 of which said they were looking for long-term in their bios; everyone knows that all other euphemisms mean they are looking for a version of fwb. Ironic how women are denigrated for not knowing which men are into commitment and at the same time their pool is expande…

Everyone's problems are their "fault", more accurately their responsibility. That said, you way overestimate the availability of these wonderful men willing to commit. The pool for anyone of worth is actually narrow and the endless dating app matches are an illusion. E.g. two average people may be looksmatched, but that still doesn't mean they have a good partner potential. To use my own example as a feminist, no one who doesn't align with my values here could ever be a life-partner. I'm sure yo…

Hey buddy, well so far as my cousin is my trainer, I have some upper back muscles to flex now haha. I still haven't figured out how to eat more protein so I can have better results. How about you??
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 01:52 PM

Only if it comes from self-disciplined chaste nuns or monks, so go become one and then we have a deal

/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 01:46 PM

Solid, but can't afford to
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 01:04 PM

Like I'd ever allow that lol
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 01:02 PM

I'll have lunch soon so that'll be sorted, in the meantime I'm having to restrain myself from devouring chocolates haha
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 01:01 PM

Ooh yeah, that might do it, thanks 😘
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 12:55 PM

Ladies, any advice, how do I stop being a hormonal weepy mess?? I mostly sorted the headache, but I really need to be productive and I need someone to either slap me or throw me in the sea so I can just get on with it already
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 12:50 PM

Same, height is a little considered, but as soon as he is an inch taller than me, face is vastlyy more important
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 12:47 PM

Yeah that's more prevalent among short women ime. As a 5'8 woman my preferred range is 5'9-6'1, which is not at all hard to fulfill where I'm from cause I come from the place where giants dwell.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 12:45 PM

By why concern yourself with logic of the trolling, bitter rabble? Why does it matter what some ignoramus says; to even attempt divining that you'd have to lower yourself, which begs the question of why waste your energy on it??
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 01:58 AM

Guys in glasses supremacy, so that's the opposite of a brag lol
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 01:47 AM

Sorry, wasn't my intention. As I've said, it looks quite presentable as far as work fits go, but having room for improvement means you can level up. Maybe your dressy outfits are much better as who cares for work, what do I know
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 01:41 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 12:59 AM

You have too many clashing colours on. More cohesion would help. To me black belt on blue jeans reads as bit of a dad or a cowboy fit from a few decades past, so I'd get them either tailored or get black jeans. The shirt and ring are nice, but the jacket doesn't really go. It also has no edge, if you wish to draw in a woman, black leather jacket is an easy staple to have and throw on. In such a case, only one article of either clothing or footwear can be non black, e.g. purple pants (it doesn't …
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 12:54 AM

Why is that a bad thing, that means it's pretty and can be even prettier. Also, as a work fit, while not ideal, it's presentable. Hope you got better fits for more dressy occasions tho
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 12:30 AM

Oh we went to a friends place, had the best food and played games, it was lovely ☺️
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 12:07 AM

What beautiful writing. Thank you, just try to keep up. Plus I learned a new word today Eh not much different than every other day among the general populace then? I'm a guy. Are you saying Men can be witches? You've spun my head I was holding space of his being bi to not crash land you so devastatingly, but if you wish to hope you are The One who can turn him gay, by all means, give it your all in wooing the unlucky fella. I'm sure men with fades can be taken in as abandoned youngins in need of…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/25 12:05 AM

Quite well, thank you, you are always kind 😊 Sounds like a lovely celebration, and a great way to set the stage for all the fun stuff the new year brings!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 11:39 PM

Lol says the guy whose accuracy in opining is just barely passable, as he hits as often as he misses. Wait till you're married to dress him in ways that keep other women away Funny, I was going to say the same thing to you. Word of advice tho, start working on those nonexistent charms so the grasping witches cannot tempt your intended into straying. Besides, I prefer my man being a sparkling treasure, I have no insecurity issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 11:37 PM

Thank youu, may all your wishes come true, princess 💖
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 11:26 PM

No to the fade, it's way overdone and not always the best choice. I'd sooner recommend growing it out a bit and having it more like Luigi, he has the hair for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 11:12 PM

All the best in the new year, far away buddies 🥂🥳! How was everyone's celebration, did I miss any interesting fits or resolutions??
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/25 11:06 PM

This wasn't about romantic gestures at all, it's about men making their gfs feel special snd cherished
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 11:02 PM

I'm a great cook and know how to maintain the household, but I'd never solely be responsible for the task. We share or bust

We are. Undamaged/healed and quality women are.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:58 PM

That is true, falling into toxic patterns because they work, then reinforcing them and forming a bad habit. we will get there one day 🥹 Thanks for the support, we absolutely will 💪
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:53 PM

I don't wish to invalidate your feelings as I fon't know the particulars, but didn't you first get on her ass about the crush and simps, it was a bit intense, and not something most people would like. Maybe you can bury the hatchet and make merry?

/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:48 PM

Why are you so on Hannah? I don't get it, she has a long reputation of being nice, solid and likeable, so yeah people like interacting with her because of it?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:46 PM

Hahah I'm sadly not there where I can gently coach myself along either; good on working on it, it's huge! I'll try switching to it when I have more good days than bad ones, hopefully it'll work 🤞
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:44 PM

I was somewhat productive, not as I should have been, but not that bad where I'll feel guilty about it either. How do you do it, please teach me your ways, sweet princess
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:35 PM

Not a turn on at all. There is only one man I trust to drive like that and it's my uncle because he knows everything, even what to do if one gets into an accident to survive, everyone else is reckless in my eyes and thus, it's a turn off.

My waist to hip ratio is very much in the desirable range already and I can get it pretty close to that look. Nice attempt at goading me, barely above passing effort, yet not nearly persuasive enough to convince me.

Neighbour, it's not November yet, quit oppressing me 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/24 12:14 PM

Hmm fair, I do have to get back to it soon. But don't you dare skip it, 'tis of utmost importance.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 11:44 PM

I get it, we all have moments of self-doubt and emotional reactions. You should be strong, because you are a gem and you deserve to be as brightly pretty and as strong as one 😎.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 10:05 PM

Ugh fine, but promise to read more books. As the resident Queen, 'tis is not kingly behaviour, asking for validation on such self-evident topics. Too long have I stood by and watched this nonsense, but no more. You, sire, are not worthy of your crown and therefore, I must raise a revolt against you.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 09:56 PM

Bring it back, Princess Hannah, and let no detractors dim your shine. It is most justly earned.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 09:35 PM

Ah, my meaning was mistaken, I shall correct it for clarity's sake, My Lord. Plainly, should my reign extend for a duration of ten thousand years, I shall require your unwavering allegiance for that time and one day more.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 09:30 PM

Indeed, Your Grace. And may your allegiance persist for another day beyond it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 09:14 PM

Be warmly welcome at court and bring unto us many merry wisdoms, Your Grace.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 09:00 PM

As the resident Queen, I find myself compelled to speak on this matter. No longer can I, in good conscience, bear witness to such folly, for 'tis beneath the dignity of thy station to seek validation upon matters so plain and self-evident. Thou, sire, hast proven unworthy of thy crown, and thus, by the immortal power flowing through my veins, I do declare a revolt. Thy reign is at an end, by my divine ruling.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 08:36 PM

What do you need that poser for? As the resident Queen, unmatched in power by puny mortals: I, Persephone, by the Grace of Hades, Queen of the Underworld, do hereby elevate my loyal servant, Mouslimanoktonos, to the rank and title of Duke of PPD, purveyor of knowledge. I bestow upon him and his heirs all the rights, privileges, and responsibilities associated with this title. Let this decree of mine be known to all. Now, go forth and commit expert tomfoolery, Your Grace.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/24 08:00 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 10:42 PM

Nooooo, stop it, you are ruining it. Go banish thyself, please and thank you.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 10:33 PM

Gladly done, good sir :)
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 10:30 PM

<image> Haha great aim, right on target; also me 😂😭
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 10:26 PM

I do notice both, yes. It's a big plus in my books when someone has good manners, as well as a turn off when they don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 10:18 PM

Ohh, do join in Hannah, it's so much fun 🎉
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 10:10 PM

She is obviously waiting her turn to belabour the point next lol
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 10:08 PM

Thank youu, I knew you'd get it. I have many more saved 😂💕
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 10:06 PM

Sure, some women like that exist. But it happens more with women sending signals to strangers they are interested in, rather than in actual friendships and relationships; that said, I do not deny that some toxic women don't get rid of it ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 10:01 PM

<image> Good manners are so underrated, we absolutely notice their presence, as well as their absence.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 09:58 PM

Men use their voices like commanders, while women like seducers, the latter being how the Voice is most commonly used. So both use voice to influence, just in different ways. From what I've seen it the movie, it looked closer to commanding type, I guess that's where my confusion comes from. If it is presented as more of a seducing quality in the books, then yes, it would fall under the feminine qualities. I just said that ruling in the shadow of male grandiosity is usually how femininity is conc…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 09:50 PM

Yes, women aren't open with people they don't know well and ones they haven't established a baseline comfort level with yet, that is what I said. Agreed on the lack of major differences with men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 09:31 PM

Usually a shared interest to build off helps. Most friendly acquaintanceships fall apart, especially if you don't see each other regularly or don't have stronger ties, so don't sweat it over much.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 09:21 PM

Lol do tell
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 09:17 PM

BG embody feminine displays of power; sociopolitical manipulations in the shadows instead of grandiose displays of brute force characteristic to men. Sure, that part. Other parts like superhuman strength, controlling every part of themselves, influence via the Voice could be either male or female characteristics, they don not easily fall into either category. she just lets her husband take the spotlight. Why would she do that, if they are not living in a really oppressive society? In the modern …

/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 08:51 PM

They do sound mightily fearsome all around. But that is not just perfect femininity, that is perfect superhumanity. If I could get myself a BG wife, I'd 110% do it Another member of delulu love for our fictional characters club. Because I do not see how that all would translate into a real world woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 08:47 PM

What is that supposed to mean 😑
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 08:41 PM

Not necessarily, you can have companionship with or without love. It is not the word I'd use when describing wanting mutual feelings precisely because of how very unromantic a lot of its connotations are.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 08:40 PM

Lol precisely that, neighbour
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 08:32 PM

Ah yes, because women are all calculating shrews incapable of love. Shouldn't we, being so emotionless and reason driven, be proclaimed the logical sex then?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 08:31 PM

I, for one, am shocked we went there. Are we getting into diatrabes about how Lady Jessica is an example of perfect femininity next ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 08:27 PM

<image> My hot take, most women are actually pretty open about what they want when you are actually close to them, they just give pc answers when it's for acquaintances or among people. Cultivate some genuine female friendships if you are still baffled.

The vast majority of women prefer similar, men too. Usually those who have relationship experience also want someone who has approximately the same amount of experience and so on. In short, you cannot judge preferences of virgin women based on preferences of women into casual sex, they are never going to match up.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 10:59 PM
3

No, I prefer a guy who is a virgin or has a low n count, as a virgin myself. If there was a relatively large disparity between myself and a guy I'm potentially interested in, it would signify to me we view sex completely differently and thus don't have shared values.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 09:35 PM

What an outrageous misleading generalization that doesn't take people's bad habits and causes into account. Here you go. "Fat-free mass-adjusted expenditure accelerates rapidly in neonates to ~50% above adult values at ~1 year; declines slowly to adult levels by ~20 years; *remains stable in adulthood (20 to 60 years), even during pregnancy*; then declines in older adults." It declines much older than the couch potatoes wish to claim, so unless one is 60+ there is no excuse. Plus, "after the age…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 09:47 PM

Men absolutely simp over their manic pixie dream girls all the time. Besides, everyone sane would go for that or best they could do, they are just mad that women on average have a higher reach.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 09:25 PM

Oh yeah, also, he has a strong character, a code of honor, gets me, is devoted to my needs and pleasure and is unquestionably loyal. Where do I sign 😂?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 09:16 PM

Nah people gain weight because they stop caring and they've grown complacent. Gaining weight is not a bad thing, but lets not pretend like losing it is a huge task at any age.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 09:04 PM

Oh feel free to indulge, with my regrets, neighbour.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 08:39 PM

It's usually as simple as this. <image>

if he saw how bad his political views were, he would probably regret saying that just like any other person in the past That is hard to claim, there might be too much cultural shock for a lot of them, but some opinions would probably get revised. I think that interpreting historical figures in historical context is an important, but sadly an oft forgotten approach. doesn't take away his validity as one of the greats No one in possession of a brain cell is trying to do that.

Aristotle was worse than Plato at it, Plato was a bit more nuanced in his period typical sexism.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/24 08:24 AM

It is not my wish to talk down to you, but I find it interesting how both you and I share a relatively common childhood experience, and yet how we processed it differently. My dearly departed grandpa used to call me "the prettiest girl in the whole world" when I was a child. I had eyes even then and could see that wasn't what he really meant or what was the reality. What he meant was that I was the most loved little girl. That was the reason why he was the only one I allowed to call me the prett…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 06:43 PM

I'm similarly baffled. We all saw who had most people crushing on them in elementary school, boys and girls. It is the world's most linear easiest conclusion, so I really don't get how so many people/men keep fumbling it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 05:53 PM

No bothersome Gary Stu Just a happy shrew with a cat or two The new incoming tide Lets proclaim it far and wide Or sew it in sparkly blue. P.s. He is totally adorable.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 06:09 PM

That's all anecdotal evidence. Sure, and it's inescapably overwhelming. That sucks... for you in particular. I don't see how it sucks for me in particular, apart from wishing to free my mother of it. I love my father and he is generally quite a good dad, but he sucks as a husband and that's the reality that I see all around me.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 06:04 PM

Of course that happily married is the state most strive for for a reason. But out of all the people around me, I know maybe one happily married woman, the rest are all relatively miserable. And being miserable in your own company is vastly preferable to being miserable coupled. My own mother has implied several times that if she were independently wealthy she would not be married and that she is only glad to be so because of the kids and family she gained from it, not her husband.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/24 05:37 PM

Haha no, greetings from Croatia :)
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 05:09 PM

Tightness in my calves, mostly my left that leads to actual cramps anytime I stretch my toes. It's been going for weeks. I'm taking potassium supplements, and will try taking really small doses of Mg, which is probably one of the issues of it not healing, but I have to take that one cautiously. You can reduce it with some stretching/not being a lazy couch potato. Lol I'm trying.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 04:47 PM

I don't want to seem like I'm anti-medical advice, as I'm actually very pro it; it's just that the doctors here are overworked and underpaid, thus mostly uninterested. They'll just tell me to stop and to accept the reality, which I'm not planning on doing.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 04:40 PM

get a massage machine off of Amazon. Solid thought. I go swimming regularly and I do stretch before any exercise. My muscles just suck.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 04:20 PM

I don't care about them being sore, it's just every time I stretch, even in sleep, I get cramping in my left calf. Right too, but quite a bit less so, that one is almost fine. Thank you, I really appreciate the advice, but there is nothing doctors here can do for me. I'll fiddle with it and figure it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 04:12 PM

Neighbor, you're not supposed to completely destroy yourself in the gymnasion. Quality rest is as important to muscle growth as quality workout. I know all that, I'm not a simpleton, neighbour. It has been years since I last broke any bones, so I'd say I've vastly improved. I'm not trying to grow any muscles atm, I just don't want to have the constitution of a Victorian lady as I've more than had enough. You will simply have to wait until the cramps are gone and then workout with a greater degre…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 04:05 PM

I'm already taking potassium, but I have to be careful with the rest. Ig there is massaging to try. Thanks :)
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:55 PM

I may have been overdoing it, but they just have to keep up already. Eh physicians mostly suck, they've given me Mg supplements, which are contraindicated for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:53 PM

Good luck, there is absolutely nothing they've got to be disappointed in! 🥂 And if they do, it's just parents being overbearing, standard stuff, and that too shall pass as they will leave.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:50 PM

I am doing that. It's not gone for weeks, it's not going away on its own.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:44 PM

I'll try it, thanks :)
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:41 PM

L from Death Note
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:40 PM

Gymbros and gals, are there any remedies for muscle cramps apart from magnesium supplements, muscle relaxants or painkillers??
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:36 PM

Lol, why don't you take a look over the comments under this one. Eh not imposing modern laws and standards on historical people and figures is something most struggle with (Mother Teresa being another infamous example). Kinda-sorta. Both Josef Mengele and Shiro Ishii both got away and died in their 60s. The rest, I think, were indeed penalised. I did say tried, not convicted. I know some were acquitted, that several life imprisonments got shortened and that some hanged, like Hitler's personal ph…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:30 PM

And there are less and less mixed friend groups with all the fearmongering and discouragement of male and female friendships. Which is a damn shame, because that's the way we learn to live outside our bubbles, expand our perspectives and not look at each other as competition. If we don't have healthy cross-gender socialization, how can we hope to have healthy relationships?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:10 PM

That's self-evident. Weren't doctors also tried for illegal human experimentation for the first time in history then as well? Because previously there was no distinction between legal and illegal ways of using humans as lab rats.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 03:03 PM

Not really or not mostly, I think it's mainly due to unequal attraction levels. My guess is that those people/women belong closer to the heteroflexible scale of being bisexual.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 02:59 PM

Here nearly everyone's been going to some variation of clubbing, dancing, bars since the start of high school. It's hard to guess, because there is a mix of both groups for both men and women. It's also more common to kiss someone than to have casual sex with them. If I had to guess, ime best predictors for high n counts are poverty, broken and unstable families (usually daddy issues in women), binge drinking and/or drug use, being intellectually incurious, women who have converted to or redisco…

Oh that makes sense lol. I have seen that it's the new favourite buzzword too.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/24 11:49 AM

They are great, but they need to be refilled every 2 weeks otherwise you just look odd and unkempt, so it's a really pricey beauty routine.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/24 11:43 AM
1

What would be the purpose? Women like it, men who have it also predominantly possess hostile sexism qualities, so on balance it's not worth it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/24 11:39 AM
3

Depends on where you're from, not necessarily in the Balkans.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/24 11:37 AM

Because some dreams carry a greater risk to be harmful in reality, which is something that should be kept in mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 11:13 AM

Got you on that one, didn't I 😜. Lol you are wicked, I'll get you back for that 😉 considering all the requirements for proper behavior outside the house I have both seen and experienced. It's much easier to censor behaviour than it is to censor words; besides, with some creativity the worst of it can usually be bucked off in both cases. Also, sounds like there is some interesting stories there.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 10:50 AM

They are wrong in that she is a pickme, but her dream is also not realistic. The only way it makes sense is if she comes from or into wealth, otherwise it's the most dumb and risky move a woman can choose for herself.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 10:38 AM

I always disliked speaking in plural to a single person. Neighbour, what 👀 I won't forbid them to do so when I'm not present, but when I am, they will have to be formal. As if an ordinary citizen can forbid something to someone when they are not present; the sheer reasonableness of you.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 10:30 AM

Absolutely wonderful, I have to figure out how to have more of them haha
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 10:22 AM

Naturally, being a pickme is a totally different thing. Was there a particular example that prompted this?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 10:20 AM

Will they also need to use the formal You? As the future crazy aunt, I'll teach them to most respectfully call you ćaća.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 10:16 AM

Uff that's rough, hope you heal fast and love the results :)
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 10:08 AM

Lol none of those, just my solo vacation is ending and I'll have to go back home.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 09:08 AM

My last day of freedom 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/24 08:53 AM

Oh yeah, the urge gets stronger for me a few days before it as well, so that's how I know I'm pmsing haha
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/24 04:58 PM

If you can manage a vacation, I'd recommend not skipping it as those usually reliably elevate the mood, especially if you are going with your gf. I'm sorry to hear about both your and her tough situation. I hope the meds adjustment helps you 🤞
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/24 04:57 PM

Oh no buddy, that doesn't sound good at all. Is there nothing else that can help?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/24 04:27 PM

Lol we are synced up, except I haven't noticed my tastes really changing, I just inconveniently become a bit more feral.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/24 04:27 PM

That's a limiting view, you can't accurately gage how charmed someone's life has been based on looks and demeanor; also, some of them have blossomed later and have absolutely worked hard for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/24 04:21 PM

Neighbour, do stop raising the temperature, I'm already at the beach and can't take more.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/24 04:16 PM

It depends entirely on the ring and how many rings someone usually wears. If she wears several, it's aesthetics based. If the ring doesn't look like a traditional engagement or wedding ring, it's clearly not intended to represent one. Long story short, if she is not otherwise pushing the commitment timeline, a pretty ring is usually just a pretty ring.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/24 09:43 PM

I do so love these shitty illogical conclusions. Let's recap, all of A is B does not follow from some of A is B.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/24 09:11 PM

The pianist? I've been to his concert last year, it was an absolutely wonderful experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/24 04:05 AM

There is no cause for outrage, just two exhausting people being exhausting.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 08:09 PM
2

Sure, everyone should be taught that, but for some people lessons don't stick. Knowing how to make a proper risk assessment is another valuable lesson kids should be taught, that way they can judge a situation based on reality and not on pretty fantasy.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/24 10:24 PM
2

Should discussions are largely pointless. No one should murder anyone, we should all learn to communicate better, be more tolerant and so on ad infinitum. It is on us all to use our best judgement when considering our own choices and others' potential reactions.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/24 09:35 PM

Yeah who knew. It was a blood-chilling WW2 insanity. They did some of their own ethnic cleansing in Bosnia durning the 90s, so we all suck basically
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 12:33 PM

Ha that works for me because I'm under ac and you can enjoy getting baked, neighbour 😋
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 12:06 PM

Yes, Croats. 20th century had a lot of forced unity which culminated in both genocide from us and invading war from them.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 12:05 PM

It's not them, it's more us and it's mutual. None of the above applies for reasonable people, naturally
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 11:48 AM

Hahah sometimes it totally is on them. Well said, buddy
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 11:40 AM

We are all contradictory beings and our desires reflect that, so I don't blame men for a lot of their fantastical wishes either. We also highly praise uniqueness and extraordinary feats, so someone who manages to catch lightning in a bottle and embody the one highly desirable trait without its accompanying sullying counterpart is an individual most coveted. I am aware of Plato's and Voltaire's views on the topic and how the odds are tragically low.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 10:59 AM

Yes, hostile sexism is unattractive and benevolent sexism is favoured by women; only those two most often correlate as studies show, which is just damn rotten luck.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 10:07 AM

Oh no, you have to put in at least medium quality wine. I personally like putting in worcester sauce in my bolognese, I think it really adds more depth of flavour, plus the herbs of course.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 08:33 AM

I see we share another affliction 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 11:26 PM

I guess, I just don't get the need for celebration there from either side. Doesn't this fall under those bare minimum things?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 11:08 PM

That's nice, but it doesn't really require a big production. So I don't get what reaction she wanted
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 11:06 PM

Why would you be happy she was hit on? You are exhausted and deserve the time to unwind without putting on a cheery performance. It'll blow over by tomorrow tho, most probably
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 11:01 PM

I didn't think through putting on this dress 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm buttoned up to the collar. How the hell do I take this off to sleep
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 11:00 PM

Ah same, loneliness is infinitely preferable. Hugs 🫂
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 10:17 PM

Oh agreed. I was at a birthday dinner of a friend tonight and her cousin was there with his new gf who he cheated with and left the ex-wife for. You would never know if you saw this guy as he looks like a nerdy looking average dude. Where are the nerds with integrity 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 10:13 PM

You are so big-hearted, neighbour, sympathizing with the plight of the bottom feeders so ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 07:30 PM

Someone is bored and back to old tricks lol
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 07:13 PM

Nothing for really, I hope it works out :)
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 10:00 PM

I get that, but he will fade into obscurity more easily than the others. He will share the fate of the businessmen whose legacies didn't last past a few generations.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 09:36 PM
1

I'm fine with either, but obviously 1 is more tempting. Why did you put Logan Roy there tho 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 09:30 PM
2

Uff I sympathize, losing years of data sucks. But try the fitbit one if you don't find any others, I'm not paying any premiums and it's functioning normally for me, at least so far.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 09:24 PM
1

It could very well be a dosage problem then; I know several people with hypothyroidism and all but one are in the normal bmi range. Sucks that she is struggling so tho
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 08:16 PM

My great uncle had thyroid cancer and has never been overweight, before or since, so don't give into the doomsdaying just yet
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 08:06 PM
1

Huzzaah, just don't let us get smoked so soon again lol
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 08:02 PM
1

Does that mean I'm in?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:55 PM
2

I'd not say it's an insignifcant percentage. Do you not know what a small percentage of men an average woman finds attractive? They can advance, but only some of them can ascend.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:42 PM
1

I basically went out next, which beggars belief As always, I strive to maintain pragmatism. I will accept what I realistically know I can reach. Damn buddy, you are really promoting Croatian supermacy over here. Well far it be from me to stop you
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:35 PM
3

All of what you said is true, except you underestimated the importance of looks. No one is saying only good looking people can be attractive in the eyes of the opposite sex, but there are people who look noticably below average and they will struggle more. Not all of them will struggle indefinitely, but it will still be a struggle and they will have to overcompensate in other areas.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:30 PM
1

How could have they done that to the team Balkan 😭 Also, set your expectations higher, don't go embarrasing us like that, neighbour
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:18 PM
6

That's only if they are above the mean (or a little below) in a normal distribution looks wise, so you way overestimated the percentage
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:15 PM
1

The audacity, you should have run it again then until it got more accurate results 😋 And it's team Southeastern Europe.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:08 PM
1

Wait, what?? You immediately killed me off in an explosion wtf lol
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:01 PM
1

Lol so close to none it's better to keep your expectations low. They don't take you seriously even when they are the ones that caused your problems
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 06:58 PM
1

I never had any such apps so I don't know have a point of comparison for how detailed they are. But I have my fitbit app in which I input my period and it predicts when my next one is due and also shows when you are in your fertile window with a marked ovulation day. Maybe something like that can work?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 06:56 PM
1

He really must be, because his team and president flew in an airplane with a croatian flag lolol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/24 07:43 PM
2

I remember reading through some of the report the psychiatrist as an expert witness gave, it was sickening. She was really stretching the whole "homeless" angle because most of them were born in Germany, speak fluent German and are Christians as well, so they weren't first generation immigrants. Not that it should matter either way.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/24 05:27 PM

So when would you disclose your preferences? What's the timeline?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 09:45 PM

That's such a narrow-minded view. You can manipulate with anything, honesty included.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 09:41 PM

Charm is not the opposite of honesty? I can be charming when I'm comfortable with people, but I don't lie to them. That said, even while charm is nice, it's not an absolute necessity; women like the stoic type too.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 09:03 PM

No, the vast majority of women do not. Women value competence and a man who treats them well. Autistic men who possess the priorely stated requirements (assuming they pass the looks threshold) do very well with women
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 08:51 PM

So you are attracted to maladapted women then? Curious, I'd have personally worked on my picker if I was in a similar position
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 08:43 PM

What would be early for you?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 08:19 PM

Q4A: Considering all the preferences you both disclosed here and haven't that could fall under dealbreakers, do you feel it is your duty to be transparent with your future dates about them, and if yes, when? Examples: that you only want casual sex with them, misogyny/misandry, low libido, kinks and fetishes, obsession with women's bmi or dick size, wanting to have other partners,...?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 08:14 PM

And here I thought your musings came better elaborated. Disappointing, comrade 😋
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 07:59 PM

Alas, I want one compatible one. Gift me one of those and all the diplomatic goodwill with accompanying pomp will be re-established. Besides, it sounds like you want two partners instead of a throuple; and all I have to say to that is 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 07:52 PM

You know you needed to be sprayed, neighbour. Muse all you like, but it's basically a recipe for disaster because accomplishing ideal conditions for it to work is nigh impossible.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 07:39 PM

All in one answer for you
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 07:33 PM

As opposed to ppd lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 06:52 PM

Third Newton's Law, for every hypeman there is an equal and opposite one too. There you go, a half-baked plan already; cheers to your ascension, o great temporary mortal ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 03:01 PM

It's good you are already well-versed at casual magicks, so given a few centuries or so I'm sure you'll get there on your own
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 02:39 PM

Such paltry wishes. You know what you have to do to get there, neighbour 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 02:32 PM

You are such an honorary Ustaša
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 02:22 PM
2

Very pretty words and sentiments, thanks for the comfort 💛 But I shan't, I'm being morose and listening to Balašević. This is how it needs to be
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/24 08:17 AM
1

Yeah I just like everyone's posts of insta to get it out of the way in the morning, but today was a gut punch. Tiktok I've got periods, sometimes I scroll on it everyday, but sometimes I skip weeks.

She was truly the best talking cat, so mad, so sassy. Calm horizons to Her Madjesty
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/24 07:08 AM

Lol men really have the audacity
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/24 06:57 AM
3

Fuck, why the hell did I think opening instagram before I eat breakfast is a good idea. My favourite internet cat is dead. I'm so sad now 😔
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/24 06:55 AM

Both, both, both!!! The moment I write one, I change my mind and want to write the other, so this is a very cruel and unusual punishment lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/24 04:53 PM

Never moaning and complaining about your insecurities is pathetic weak-willed slave morality. What are you talking about? Slave morality is exactly moaning and petty complaining about unfair treatment and oppression.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/24 04:42 PM

Don't worry, your noble quest is at least entertaining and in good humor, unlike many here as you've also noticed, so I don't know what they're complaining about. Ride on, young grasshopper
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 08:01 PM

Yeah that’s what I thought I was doing too lol. Well some of us see it. They are taking everything so overly seriously lol I think most of the dudes pissed at me are just mad I apologized to icy-core, a female women, on the mega thread. Probably in combination with that you posted several things on the topic, the horror. The 19-21 bmi and dick obsessed dudes can spam the thread all the time, but no one ever thinks they are having a mental breakdown
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 07:48 PM

Don't worry buddy, I'm reading this just as you having fun while also questing for foul scoundrels who cowardly hide behind anonymity
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 07:35 PM

Smash it 💪
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 05:10 PM

Bro is this a provocation lol
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 05:09 PM

it's to be expected once you understand the demographic here. That is true. That's why I only selectively engage. I've learned that lesson on my other account before lol. However, women here are the ones who like to claim empathy, understanding, equality, etc., which the gets quite jarring when they start the condescension and meangirl insults. I think out of all places online, I've seen women here claim those the least. But lets say even with empathy, it's hard to have empathy for someone at th…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 12:14 PM

Women here don't have any strong arguments that doesn't boil down to "you are useless scum. Look how better me and everyone around me is than you." I've seen cases where it happens. But I've also seen a lot more cases where the "strong arguments" that men start are often just emotionally charged rants. When the begining is so twisted and provocative, the rules of that intercation are immediately negatively charged. Thus, the mud slinging that follows can't be counted against women's ability to h…

Here are some related answers: 1 and 2 from askhistorians in case you wish to learn more on the topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 10:29 PM

Sometimes there are higher things than inconveniences to us. How about this, if such an awful event ever happens, I'd be willing to donate to help out your car if you help out the animal.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 09:29 PM

Are you saying apoliticals and moderates are in minority? Because I feel it is opposite. There are a lot of apoliticals, but I'd say less and less of actual moderate voters. In my country both the far right and far left party are gaining following and moderate versions of the parties are struggling. Isn't this most people? It is, yes. I know, I'm currently working on those things. Best of luck! Give us a hint when you start the ball rolling, tho I think I'll manage to recognize when Old Romans a…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 09:23 PM

Okay buddy, but you answered it in such a dry way as if it's not a horrible situation vs a terrible situation. You most thought about the car, for goodness' sake
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 09:02 PM

Are you talking about hetero relationship violence where violence doesn't come from men? If I remember at the top of my head it was smth like 98.7% out of 35%, which would bring it down to 34.5%. If you can find the relevant numbers and statistics, I see no reasons why we shouldn't calculate them as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:59 PM

Maybe online, but most people would identify as moderate IRL. Most people are also cowards, so draw your conclusion. The apolitical ones, sure. But it's becoming less common among the voters I personally know at least. I'd say it's more often that they either don't have major complaints or are complacent. Yes, most everyone are cowards, but I'd not say it is really relevant in a discussion of regular voters' choices. No, I'd strive to introduce completely new values and the way of thinking, whic…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:51 PM

What equation? There is only one side?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:31 PM

How about running over neither?? Or clarifying you'd take them to a vet later if a horrible accident happened
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:29 PM

Damn what is wrong with everyone
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:28 PM

How could you say that 🥺
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:26 PM

What the hell 😑
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:25 PM

Not really, both groups have both of the complexes. Oh they do, but this was a bit oversimplified as which complex they more often outwardly choose to represent themselves imo. No, being moderate means being a wuss who doesn't have any guts to stand by a controversial belief. Maybe before, but I'd say being moderate is a relatively controversial position currently because everyone is pushing to pick exclusively one side. I am not talking about any position, merely that both sides of the politica…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:20 PM

So basic maths, if you want to calculate a percentage of a percentage, multiply them together. So 0.674 * 0.438 = 0.295 = 29.5 %
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:10 PM

Good for you. Did retiring stop you from being able to calculate? Physics.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:05 PM

Victim complex vs superiority complex clash. Is being moderate a unique position? Or what position are you talking about, non-buddy?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 08:02 PM

Go back to elementary school and learn maths properly
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 07:58 PM

Agree to disagree then
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 07:57 PM

Let me help you with that basic maths: 67.4% out of 43.8% = 29.5%
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 07:45 PM

I mean that's a hater reviewed piece. If you are going to dislike it use your own words and thoughts, instead of someone else's
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 07:35 PM

Oh yeah they are good, she has a great voice too
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 07:11 PM

Bro do you not know how to count 67.4% of 43.8%? Yes, we are talking about violence exclusively committed by women, what's tripping you up?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 07:03 PM

In what way?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 06:49 PM

Ah sorry, I don't know why I've read it as turning on her music now 🤦🏻‍♀️. It could be because she is not saying anything for Palestine as I've seen some disgruntled about it, or more recently her white feminsim. That said, this isn't unusual as she has just as many haters as fans, so it's likely that the ones turning on her were never really fans.

That's 29.5% that experienced exclusively female violence, which is less than violence experienced by women in hetero relationships. Mind you, it's still not good. Women also need to be educated on the topic and encouraged to seek help for their anger issues.

I mean we like her music, what's there to explain 🤷🏻‍♀️

It didn't really hurt, it was more gruesome looking which my poor bro was hysterical about. 'Twasn't all bad, I was totally chatting up the young doctor sewing me back up lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 11:54 PM

Hahah amazingly done. People totally forget what idiots preteens are. I supermanned through a glass window because my brother was winding me up at 11 and narrowly avoided cutting up the veins in my wrist lol

No, but I broke a foot and an elbow almost one after the other in high school, so my teachers were all rolling their eyes at me at the time

Mate, I've been in forests with bears and I actually saw how quick they are. None of us would be able to outrun or outclimb them. I don't know why you are imaging this like you are facing down the bear with best targeted weaponry humanity has at its disposal, when it was always presented as a casual hiking trip with a bear at close range (in which case a single person has a much higher chance of being toast).

What? Bears outmaneuvered and outpaced? Are you being sarcastic?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 10:54 PM

I think they are genuine, but also ignorant and unbalanced. They are comparing a best case scenario of encountering a bear against a worst case of meeting a man. But I have to say that men largely missed the point of the thought excercise. Brute strength wise both men and bears are higher on the food chain than women. Also, irrational or not, women live and mentally calculate all kinds of activities with a fear of rape in mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 10:23 PM

Is that your experience? I think it's just monotony and routine that make it less exciting for both partners. Both people just have to consciously choose to try for each other once they are settled in and they can maintain the spark. Promoting unhealthy bonding will have consequences on other parts of the relationship too, such a partner could easily become more insecure, clingy, needing constant reassurance, controlling, toxic. So you may win some, but you'll lose some too.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 01:10 PM

You got the vaccine as teenagers and you missed it or is that a new policy?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 12:56 PM

I am too, I'm still going to get it. In the future it prevents you from either spreading it if you sleep with non-virgin women and also helps to reduce your risk of getting some oral cancers.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 12:55 PM

Lol I worded that clumsily. Smartly done 💪 Seems like only women in their preteens have gotten it so far.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 12:53 PM

What a non sequitur. Guys are also recommended to get the vaccine. I assume that means you haven't gotten it and are not planning to?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 12:51 PM

Ah yes, we've all been there, they semi-regularly break my veins, but you gotta do what you gotta do 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 12:41 PM

I can sympathize that it's hard, but later in life most of us will need to get jabbed by needles more, so it's better to get over it sooner rather than later imo
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 12:27 PM

What, why not??
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 12:07 PM

Oh I'm definitely getting it. It also helps prevent the oropharyngeal cancers.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 11:41 AM

Oh yes I know, as they should. I'm glad to hear about the positive changes, I'll look into it more too.

Wow that's great work by the Australian governement. Our health institutions started encouraging it only recently.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 11:29 AM

All casual or just regular sex havers, have you considered HPV and gotten the vaccine?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 11:14 AM

1.) Husband I would not leave. Tho I've seen first hand the kind of huge sacrifice it is to be someone's caretaker, so I'd not wish to be that burden on someone or to have to carry it for years to come. 2.) I'm sorry to say but yes, I'd stop dating him.

The people that use social media with no problems don't say anything, We've been debating this nonsense on reddit for several messages just us two, and you have done so with many others as well. Thus, lets not kid ourselves, neither one of us are in the group of using "social media with no problems". Everyone has weak spots, neither your or mine may be IG, but we did still get stuck in the proverbial washing machine, stepbro. Sounds like you're protecting the adult woman more than the child you …
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 10:51 PM

Only solution for that would be to limit who can have kids. I think there should be stricter limits on who can keep kids, e.g. parents who keep fucking up should not have so many chances to jerk their kids around. people with illness that could be passed on I'm not against banning of passing on severe genetic illnesses that will greatly reduce both someone's quality of life and their lifespan. Again we allow women to make choices and that includes having kids even if she was a pornstar. I'm not …
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 10:30 PM

I'm on IG and I don't do any of that lol. Again, it's about moderation. I didn't say it's true for everyone, but on average it's more likely to be harmful than positive. It is the responsibility of the parent to keep it porn away from their children, yes. Yes, but what when their peers discover what their mothers had done in the past? They are really going to have a great time. But it is not your responsibility to ban it for everyone else (men and women) because of your personal ideology, if tha…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 10:23 PM

Your last point is just consequences of your actions It's not that I don't agree with this, but this will be lifelong consequences that will not affect just her, but complete innocents, like her kids. Some people are dumb and when they are young even more so, so then they get themselves into stupid, risky situations. But if they survive those, it won't follow them the way the stigma will follow sex workers.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 09:56 PM

I use IG too. It's a non-issue for some women and men, but for a lot it's very much an issue as it's encouraging dissatisfaction, addictive behaviour and external validation seeking. In any case, let me try for something you are likelier to understand. What of the sons those women will have? Their mental health will be destroyed before they even had a chance to built it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 09:49 PM

If I can see instagram is encouraging people/women's vices, you guys can see that porn is doing the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/24 09:35 PM

It's not just that. The West has already ruined family/extended family with its promotion of highly individualistic values, it's now coming for the relationship between men and women. Porn is just another thing that's burning everything to the ground and alienating everyone from each other. Also, women have compassion for women in sex work because it's one thing to be young and dumb, but what when that stops? What if they want more, and a significant portion of them will? What of the children th…

Honestly I don't doubt this. My mum, who is generally a nice and kind lady, when she really loses her temper still pinches and smacks me. She is also the one who made a small hole in the wall above my bed (tbf it was partly my fault). My father has stopped pulling us by our ears in early childhood, and apart from one sucky episode in my teenage years, hasn't laid a hand on me since. He has a much worse temper than her tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/24 06:06 PM

pasulj only has beans, zaprška and maybe some meat for flavor. So close to pašta fažol, there is sausage and the only addition is a small pasta. That in the image are definitely baked beans. Et tu, Brute 😭 It's not baked beans, it in fact is baked rice, just in the red sauce in this case. You got much to learn, young grasshopper
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 05:20 PM

They don't do the test just to know what day to fuck, but what time not to miss, since they've been having trouble. Also, I don't know much on the topic, but some fertility experts claim that it's better to do it every other day because it supposedly increases the sperm count. I have also seen different claims, but I don't care about the topic enough to cross reference research rn.

Those who believe in gut insticts too much Lack of self-awarness, ability to be self-critical Those who require excessive and continuous external validation Those prone to dramatics and public crying fits or tantrums Those that take horoscopes or personalitiy tests too seriously Sad beige mums and proponents of "gentle parenting" Black and white thinking

/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 02:14 PM

SMV is really hard to evaluate over pictures for guys as it relies on more than just physical appearance. But for physical appearance think big picture stuff, i.e. slim fit, teeth that look like they've seen an orthodontist, clear skin, no bad jaw/chin recession, hair or beard styled, clothes that fit and don't look sloppy. If you've got that down, work on reading body language and being charming.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 02:12 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 01:54 PM

Scarlett is portrayed as a flawed protagonist, that's why it was so novel and popular. She was not a beacon of female virtue nor was she representative of women as a whole. No one would be mad at the director about Scarlett today, modern movies suck precisely at what she excells at, being a 3D character and not a caricature of excellence and badassery.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 01:23 PM

I think I have 90% of the complete picture, but it took me lots of headache and frustration until I have wades through the sea of omission and half-truths to assemble it. It is an endlessly fascinating subject that's mystifying for nearly everyone, especially when starting out, so you're not alone there.

They don't necessarily have to signal the man is above average. The male mistake is thinking that women want the extreme version of those qualities, when for most it's enough for their men to squeeze their ass in an opportune moment as OP discovered. Confidence that went too far is arrogance and that one is no longer morally neutral. But when they don't cross any such limits, they indeed are neither good nor bad, just neutral traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 06:03 PM

There is an entire book, Mating in Captivity, that explains why LTRs experience sexual droughts and makes the point that emotional intimacy and sexual excitement are two different dimensions that may run in parallel Sounds intriguing. I'll check it out. You mean to say that women can't accurately describe what causes them raw sexual arousal, so they use the most approximate concepts? I hesitate to speak in general terms, but yes and no. There are snippets that would sound disconnected if I went …

I'll tell you what women have a problem with. Masculinity, dominance, confidence etc are not inherently "bad boy" things. They are the things "bad boys" may possess more on average, but on their own they are morally neutral. By assigning them negative value, you put women on the defensive as well as give cause for men to feel bitterness towards women because they just hear that women like "bad boys".

So you're saying it's the dichotomy? Well there are a few thoughts I have on the topic. First, say you don't have a crush on anyone and you're trying to imagine this intangible guy who is your dream guy. In the abstract imaginations you can't precisely call to mind the raw physicality. Raw physicality is all stuff of the present, much like pain it loses its potency when it's only a far off memory. So you can't really explain it well at the moment. You then say you want chemistry, banter, vibes, …

So you are saying an inaccurate short hand is used because of statistics? Ease of understanding? I can understand why it may be easier to not detangle every strand and just lump it all together, but based on a lot of men and women talking past each other in the comments, it seems to not work well.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 04:57 PM

Those are 2 different things, there is raw attraction and there is good mate selection. You have to clear the first bar to get to the second. Of course women want to date a genuinely nice guy, but that has nothing to do with raw attraction. I don't understand why it's such an epiphany, most men would want to date a nice woman, but first they'd have to find her physically and sexually attractive too.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 04:42 PM

Basically that you are regularly able to have more in-depth conversations that are above superficial every day stuff and people.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 09:43 PM

Lol I envy you, that's the dream. Honestly I do think that's the only way for people to truly be happy with one another, and not just tolerably (dis)content, once the every day drudgery comes knocking.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 09:32 PM

Hahah quite right, but it's important to find someone whose lack of originality complements your own
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 09:10 PM

It's very clear which dropouts have more in them as they find an alternate route to success instead of moaning and smoking weed, but those stories are rare. After all that, are you trying to find a more accomplished woman nowadays?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 08:39 PM

How many of you would or have prioritized the intellectual connection when seeking a partner? Ime and observations most couples don't have it. They have a connection, they have fun with each other, they more or less share the values, they are obviously attracted, and that seems to me the best that can be realistically expected. Is that really the best one can reasonably hope for?

I've had nice exchanges with a good amount of men here (tbf not everyone), so ime how it ends up depends on if one starts with vitriol or if they are open to discourse
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 07:13 PM

What happened?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 12:38 PM

Exactly, I know a few late bloomer men and women, myself included, and they aren't anything like OP is describing. Of course there are some who are embittered by their unfulfilled yearnings, but that's true for every group of people. These negative generalizations really bring nothing to the table apart from strife.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 12:34 PM

Idk. He didn't elaborate. I'm still a virgin, but I don't think I'd have any qualms about doing it. Good, make your own judgement call when it comes to it. Perhaps, but he did argue that the principles of attraction remain the same. The principles of attraction are simple, talk to her normally, flirt occasionally with light touches and eye contact, and work on reaching your physical attractiveness potential. Women do like manners and men being thoughtful, so kdramas are good at hammering that ho…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 12:10 PM

I can understand the first few times being acclimating, before you start exploring each other more. But if she genuinely holds that view, it won't change that drastically from date 2 to date 10. Even if it changes that soon, it says nothing good about her. It says she is easily influenced, walking around the world adopting other's opinions without ever having a thought in her own head. So again, why would you want to build a life with such a person? Look at the amount of Women who have Men payin…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 11:59 AM

But why would you want to date a dumb person? Why is that not an immediate disqualification?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 11:33 AM

Have you ever dated someone before? Does an online relationship count? I feel like you're struggling to believe that there a dumb Women out there Oh no, I'm not struggling to believe that. There's many dumb men and women who are content to stay so, at least 50%. What I'm struggling to get is why does it matter what a dumb person believes?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 11:30 AM

Like the number of such women is so miniscule, it's not worth mentioning on any kind of normal scale. If a woman isn't into it, she'll just say so, there'll not be this silent judging you guys made up.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 11:01 AM

How is eating pussy unmasculine? Sounds more like he doesn't like doing it so he came up with a convenient excuse. His advice about Kdrama and chick lit is good mostly. There is a lot of trash in the genre that one can't model anything off. The application of his advice varies on what you are looking for. If you are looking for casual sex with women who are susceptible to tricks and munipulation, it's excellent. If you want a rewarding relationship, it's not great.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 10:54 AM

Repulsive even in the category of no neck thumbs
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 10:47 AM

What bitches. Reward for what, it's not like they signed up themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 12:05 AM

We do need to bring some more fashion energy over here, so definitely do! And I'm sure you'll be up to the task
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 12:01 AM

Post pictures after the shopping trip to appease the fashion gods ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 11:35 PM

This test postulates that like attracts like, so basically the picture you find the most creepy says the most about hidden parts of you. It is obviously not reliable so it's quite probable that it didn't "read" you correctly.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 03:12 PM

I'm unsure whether he actually crossed the line, but he came damn near it enough to make his intentions suspect and very morally dubious.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 02:55 PM

I'm side-eyeing both sides of the couple, that's like broadcasting you have issues to me
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 02:34 PM

I know what you mean, reading eyes and microexpressions really seems like an old forgotten art sometimes. This is also part of the reason why some guys don't have any luck. A disturbed mind is seen through the eyes. It's how you see "personality" in pictures. I've met only a few guys and girl like that too, but they were memorable. There is a certain deadness in them that sends warning signs to flee for your lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 02:27 PM

They and every generation after them
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 02:15 PM

Very interesting, so far we've had people both agreeing and disagreeing, but there appear to be slightly more wins for the test
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 02:11 PM

That is true, people were posing completely differently. I believe these were the pictures of actually mentally ill patients, so that's why they have some of that unsettling factor, besides the era.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 02:07 PM

Oh yeah to me too, they look like those crazy village regulars that live at a local pub and are absolute riots when they get blitzed.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 02:03 PM

I just think it means the test is quite speculative and relies at least partially on guesswork. Good fun tho
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:58 PM

Quite an in depth analysis, I can see you are self-aware and detail-oriented. This is mostly a bit of fun as I do think the results are semi-generic; they have some specificity to them, but they are not too thorough at all. It's easier to feel like they got you that way. Thanks for sharing :)
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:54 PM

Interesting, I can see that. the results for your perusal
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:44 PM

Interesting. I am totally abolutely under no circumstances noisily cross-checking everyone's results
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:37 PM

Lolol his money is attractive in an unconventional way
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:31 PM

Or just going back to playboy era, some way that you still have to rely on your own imagination and thus do the work, so hopefully they are less likely to overdo it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:30 PM

None of them truly scare me, and I imagine the same is true for a lot of people who answered. But you still answer which one seems to you as a biggest no based on your instincts
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:27 PM

the results. Do you feel it's at all accurate?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:22 PM

I knooow, I have a lot of thinking to do 🙈
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:21 PM

the results
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:20 PM

Here are the results. Uff 1 is my pick too 🫣
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:17 PM

That is quite evident. I'm most worried for the kids who are going to be exposed super young.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:13 PM

Ew my disgust threshold could never
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:12 PM

Have you guys taken the Szondi test before? It's nonsense of course, but still fun. Look carefully at the following eight pictures. Pick the one that you find the most unsettling and "scary." As Junji Noe writes on Facebook, "Who would you want the LEAST to be in an elevator with you?" <image> ETA: the results after you've chosen.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:11 PM

What is it called if I've never gotten over anyone in my life, and I don't mean romantically? I need to be rewired so badly.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:04 PM

Best of luck and loads of fun! :)
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:57 PM

Are you on tiktok? I've definitely had male fashionistas come across my for you page. Also, there's some classic brands I know are popular amongst guys like Ralph Lauren, but they are a bit pricy 😬 You can can check it out second hand on vinted and ebay. If you have a gf and she's into it, you can ask for her help.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:30 PM

I'm sorry, but your friend's not a good person.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:22 PM

Do you believe they gained all their knowledge and stylishness all at once? It's a gradual process that you have to work at, just the same as everything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:11 PM

There are a lot of Italian men who aren't really tall (they are in good shape tho), but are absolute style icons. And you are looking at clothes, not their faces or height
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 11:25 AM

Find men online whose style inspires you, I recommend Italian or French. Look at what they are wearing piece by piece and then try to recreate the outfits you like.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 11:17 AM

Inconceivable
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 09:43 AM

Oh friend, you have warm eyes. And so what if you're balding, so is everyone in my mum's half of the family and no one's had any unsurmountable problems because of it. Also, your upper half looks a lot like a guy I know and he's got a cute skinny girlfriend. I know that's not your type lol, but still.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 08:35 AM

Has it ever occured to you that likes sometimes change over time? I don't even read the same erotica I did years prior, and that's just for myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 07:58 AM

When has this pic sharing happened? And why weren't the rest of us allowed to yell at him to get over himself, he's fine and to go forth and multiply?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 07:51 AM

It's logically choosing the worse option tho, same as women who ignore red flags because they are scared of being alone. Women who lack empathy are going to lack empathy in a divorce or breakup too, and at many other points throughout the relationship, it's never just once. It's important to find someone who isn't going to leave you more fucked up getting out of the relationship than you were going in.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 05:04 PM

Hey, how about we don't purposefully misconstruct OPs experience to fit our own narrative. There is nothing more annoying than when other people think they know better about your own experience, and they weren't even there. OP is wrong in his conclusion, not in his experience. So I suggest only addressing the former and not the latter if you wish to engage in a good faith debate. ETA: my response to yours, since comments are locked: If they had no issues before theres no reason for her to be put…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 04:58 PM

I'm just saying, if a guy does tear up for whatever reason and is in need of comfort, it's just good data to have when it comes to a potential life partner's reaction. As OP discovered. The one time you can't handle things, the person who's supposed to care about you (if not the most then more than most) just shoots you while you're down. That's a really horrible and alienating feeling and I empathize. But it's important to draw the right conclusion, once the emotions have settled. The conclusio…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 04:49 PM

If anything, wouldn't this be a great vetting strategy if the goal is to find a good fit for long term relationship? There is a non-minority of women that are like that, but avoiding them early on when you haven't gotten too attached is the smart and prudent thing to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 04:24 PM

Okay, do you have an example of when has someone been sent to prison solely for causing a regular person emotional pain and suffering?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 01:20 PM

They exist in some parts of the world and not in others. They don't exist in the USA for example.

So the policy is no work fraternization if married? That's still a strict internal policy and not a law. E.g. an equivalent doesn't exist in my country as about half of all doctors and nurses cheat exactly like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 01:17 PM

We are talking legality, not social mores. Of those things you mentioned, every single one of them is legal, including spanking, provided one doesn't leave the mark so it crosses into child abuse. I suggest familiarizing yourself with the laws a bit more first.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 02:30 AM

That has nothing to do with parents disciplining their children
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 02:07 AM

The reason rape (real rape) is punished so harshly is the emotional trauma that is inflicted on the victim that will be with them for the rest of their lives. It is so, but where is the example of just emotional trauma without something else added being prosecuted? I can't think of any, but you're more than welcome to try. I can lose my license if I cheat on my wife as a physician or the DEA could revoke my DEA number thus preventing me from writing prescriptions for controlled substances. You m…

Not every threat is illegal and raises to the level of criminal prosecution, in fact most aren't. I will grant you it's a fair point, but also say that on its own criminal threats against regular people won't result in prison time unless some strong evidence other than verbal comes to strengthen their credibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 12:44 AM

He was arrested, but charges were later dismissed. Fornication and seduction used to be outlawed as well, and I bet a much smaller percentage of people would wish for those to be reinstated. The law has stopped being so intrusive as the need for morality and legality to be the same thing has evolved.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 12:28 AM

Parents don't go to prison for emotionally scarring their children, until such an event has real consequences, like something criminally bad has happened to the child.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 12:17 AM

why does she get mitigating circumstances by default? I don't understand what you're asking here? I find naïvete after one has entered their 20s just a nicer word for someone who severely lacks street smarts or common sense, aka life dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/24 12:14 AM
3

It's just my opinion, I have no issues with others thinking differently. Also, it's fine, I'm tough on both men and women as I'm sort of the everyone sucks ideology.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 11:38 PM
6

Off topic, but okay. If she was blackout drunk, it was rape and she is a victim. I feel sorry for her trauma, as that's horrible and it sucks majorly that she now has to live with it. That said, that was extremely dumb of her with a predictable outcome to boot. So she either clearly had some sort of trauma or mental instability from before that made her reckless and self-sabotaging, or she is just very life dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 11:30 PM
2

Sounds like victim blaming! Lol like that means anything. Some victims were in truly regretable life circumstances and so have a right to grace. Others, like some mums and dads who stayed with their abusers when they've had kids to protect, absolutely carry their part of the blame. Anyone who has a brain judges on a case by case basis, never on a social trend of the time. So yes, men should be careful as that's one of the most important life decisions and same applies to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 11:15 PM

If it was release of the obligation from child support, or maybe even back pay from said child support, I could see the arguement. Otherwise, the advice is the same for both genders, pay attention and choose wisely.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 10:59 PM
1

My bad, you are right. For some unexplicable reason my brain kept reading that as the turn of 21st century. But to get back to the point. A 100 years is more than enough for the new normal to be firmly established. Second, I've already said that courting before wasn't arranged that often between the parents, nor was the rule of no sex before marriage so staunchly upheld in practice, as many a couple had to hurry the wedding cause the intimacy was already consumated.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 10:56 PM

We don't send people to prisons for emotional pain and suffering, so a very obvious no. The law should not meddle in relationships between people because that's enroaching on personal freedoms way too much.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 10:25 PM

Anyone who finds history interesting and teachable? Also, if some men married prostitutes, that means visting them wasn't such a taboo that it wasn't done. Mistresses were also not uncommon. Same for women too, which has been confirmed through genetic analyses where a distant male ancestor in some cases didn't match with the one on the family tree. So they were not nearly as puritanical in practice as they may have been in theory.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 10:05 PM

Holy missing the point. They are, but they are not what most would term "the turn of the 20th century", as you claimed. Besides, I've given you examples for earlier half of 20th century. And explained how the arranged marriage wasn't the rigid norm for most even in 19th century and earlier, unlike in India and Muslim majority countries.

It was rare, but it definitely happened. Anne Parsons (1735-1815) was a successful courtesan and served as “de facto first lady” to her lover, the first Prime Minister, The Duke of Grafton. She later married an almost 10 year younger Lord Maynard and become Viscountess Maynard. Lavinia Fenton became Duchess of Bolton after the Duke’s first wife died. She had been an actress, barmaid, prostitute and mistress for the Duke after he fell in love with her on stage. The marriage went down in 1750s. So…

I think you forgot the sixties and the seventies existed and the sexual revolution that came with them. But even before that, my grandparents dated in the 1950s. As in my grandpa asked out my grandma via a friend to go with him to the movies. Now their parents didn't date, but it was more like if a village boy liked a village girl, they sort of kept hanging out within a group of friends and then if they were of an appropriate age, a young man asked out a young woman he fancied for her hand. Which time are we talking about here, because neither my grandparents nor my great-grandparents had arranged marriages. Historically it was much more common for poor, aka most people to choose their own match, as arranged marriages were mostly there to conserve wealth. Also, even in Regency period and earlier arranged marriage wasn't in any way a rigid norm from anyone apart from Royalty and top nobility, as it was decently common for social equals to mingle in the same circles and figure it out…

I think most people have blinders when it comes to assessing their own gender's attractivness and ability to pull the opposite sex. The effect is most prominent in the average range. So with that in mind, I doubt that they are significantly better looking than the women for whom they are publicly embarrassing themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 02:06 PM

It's usually what guys who are on par or even a little below them in looks are saying. No handsome/r dude is going to unpromptedly just start praising women who he isn't into publicly and soberly. Playing political and social correctness is a woman's game.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 01:53 PM

Depends on the budget and how flexible you're in your vision. Highlights always rock in summer time tho
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 12:52 AM

Oh yeah I get that. There are some men pendulum could swing either way for, if only they put in effort into personal presentation as well as building the connection. But as you say, a lot of them won't do it, because waah waah smth Chad.

I don't understand what dating down means generally? In looks, intelligence, income, personality? I think both are true. Some men get so close to having a bigger pool of options but they are disinclined to put in visible effort women'll appreciate. Still, I think women vastly prefer not to as long as they have other options and as longs as kids are not a need or an immediate need. I've got an unlucky hand health wise, but I'd not consider dating down even tho some men may think it's "my place" t…

There are two ways one can play it, either the high road or give them the same energy back road. Choose for yourself, but you must choose the one that will leave you with no long term bitterness. The wast majority of things can be learned and practiced. And one shouldn't ever go on rants, but keep it short, sweet and deadly. I get where you're coming from, and I do agree that it's important to try on all fronts, your own included. It seems to me that not setting that boundary leads down the road where someone else's orgasm becomes the other person's responsibility. I've noticed that a lot of men try much more in the begining. After a while, following the path of least resistance, the urge to impress drops off noticably and complacency sets in. The same is usually true on both sides of the couple, but men on average have a much easier time coming so it bothers them less. That's where most women start being dissatisfied. It's as simple as that in most cases. If you've got a pillow princess at the begining and you can't find a way for you guys to sync in with…

So if I killed you or someone you loved, you would be greatly concearned with my state of mind? And mind you, in cases of murder, self-defense or insanity can be presented as a mitigating circumstance. There is no similar mitigating circumstances for gangrape case of a child, as there is no collective self-defense or group insanity. But lets hear your sad attempts to find a justification, bootlicker.

It reminds me of 'allo 'allo of all things, a "woman of the opposite sex" 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 12:46 AM

It doesn't need to be super complicated. You clearly both like/love each other, just don't make the mating dance last too long, as it can then lose momentum. In any case, good luck
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 12:43 AM

female women maidens isn't that just a tad redundant?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 12:37 AM

As a matter of fact, none. Why, are you gonna try to play the devil's advocate?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 12:23 AM

I couldn't agree with you more. One has to lack any kind of morality and ethics to be able to live with themselves. Zero character and zero principles. I do think most are sociopaths, because those that are not start showing cracks over time and either quit or break.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 12:22 AM

This is just the most extreme case of pickme, the final form if you will. A woman who doesn't care as she got hers and will throw other women to the wolves so she can be one of the good ones/or progressive ones/whatever lies she tells to herself.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 12:18 AM

I know that. Her testimony influenced the decision. And both are culpable.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 12:14 AM

I appreciate you being objective and representing the situation fairly. I just don't think there is any explanation in which she is not horrible, vile, detestable person who could have just possibly set a dangerous precedent. I hope there is some way to appeal. I never thought people (a woman!) could go so woke they are back full circle to being unrepentant misogynists, but here we are.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 12:11 AM

I'm so incredibly pissed. How fucking dare she!?? She is a Ghislaine Maxwell dangerous level pickme. Already the prison sentences for such cases are laughably small, but this, this is beyond repugnant.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 11:50 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 04:51 PM

What's wrong there? One person can't live like they are single when they are in a relationship. When you live with anyone, not just a romantic partner, you accomodate them if you both want to have a good time of it. Also, that's a different conversation than what men need to be to satisfy initial conditions to enter a relationship with a woman they like. The same thing applies to women of course.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 03:51 PM

Not in London or any such city. But the strategy can be adjusted, one walks in front, the other behind, the point is that the man doesn't go off on his own and is just barely in the line of sight.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 12:24 PM

Oh I dislike pairs or groups of people who are bulldozing ahead willfully socially unaware too. It's not that hard to silmutaniously walk side by side and be aware of others and move away accordingly every so often.

I feel a bit antsy too when I walk with my grandma or my littlest cousin and have to adjust my pace. After a while it becomes easier and I get used to it. Regulating breathing and heartbeat comes with relaxing and is something that I always thought of as a basic skill, but maybe not. In any case, I stand by it being impolite leaving whoever you're walking with in the dust.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 12:14 AM

Super, to mi je baš drago čuti :) I ja isto, ovo mi je kao da smo se susreli u inozemstvu haha.

That all sounds quite unebelievable to me, so do you have a source? I have noticed that slowing down agitates some people/men, but I don't think it's quite as elaborate as what you are claiming. I could be wrong, if indeed there is more I can read about these claims. That said, I just think some people are more prone to irritation, e.g. I believe a Venn diagram of those people and the ones who'd be quite stirred in a traffic jam is a circle.

Very well said, I quite agree.

I agree. I'm not talking when some careful maneuvering is needed or the pavement is too narrow, as you've mentioned. I just have some guy friends who walk 10 meters/30 feet ahead, because they have a longer stride and won't slow down. I think it's an inconsiderate and impolite thing to do, whether for a date or when hanging out in a group of friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 03:15 PM

All of what you've said, but specific for me is if a guy walks ahead of me. If we are walking together, than the considerate thing is to actually walk together. The ones who cannot adjust their pace are not for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 03:06 PM

From personal account, not necessarily. It can also mean thinking of sex as special and maybe not finding the right person yet. Or religious reasons. Being a bit more in my misanthrope era than usual, imagining sharing that experience with several men throughout my life kinda repulses me, so I'd really rather avoid trauma from wrong partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 12:24 AM

All of this demands intense introspection, ruthless self-revaluation, empathy, consideration and inner power, which is something most people simply aren't capable of. Understanding, changing and ruling over oneself is the single most difficult task one will ever experience in their lives and most will fail. This doesn't mean true love as you describe it doesn't exist, merely that finding it will be very difficult, as people who are willing to undergo all the necessary mental and emotional labor …
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 10:00 PM

Sweet. I still continue to love Harry Potter. I also really like Percy Jackson and Criminal Minds (tho I have't read any fanfic in the fandom). I do the same thing when I really enjoy a show or a movie too haha. Thankfully a lot of my favourites have many stories available.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 08:51 PM

Define "true love". First there obviously need to be love and sexual chemistry, then understanding, respect, dedication, patience, tolerance. Having someone who just gets you, who listens and remembers the little things, who asks deeper questions about you, who'd never reject your bids for connection, who you share a sense of humor and preferred life activities with. Someone you don't have to make yourself less for or more for, but they inspire you to give them the best version of yourself anywa…

As far as I got from google synopsis, it's single white female, but dress it up and make it sexy, with thriller elements as per you? Doesn't sound good. I don't like when characters are caricatures as Nina sounds or Mary Sues like Millie sounds. Awesome, what are your favourite fandoms?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 08:32 PM

What book is that? But that's why I read fanfiction, and more gen than romance recently. Good romance is so hard to execute.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 08:12 PM

Yes, very much agreed. And steeping so long in the negativity makes it your new normal, which then completely ruins your normal meter; and that can take a long time to be noticed. Thank you for the encouragement, it is very kind of you. I wish you all the best on your journey too :)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 07:56 PM

No drugs for me, but I'd say that the ideas of love and romance have been created much earlier than victorian Europe. Don Quixote, Petrarca, Dante, Tristan and Isolde and similar come to mind. I do think the more pure form of love that would come from finding a truly great match is possible, but I also think it doesn't happen for most people, even those who do fall in love. There are some lucky ones that do find it, but yeah not most in my observations. I don't think a man not fighting a war is …
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 07:43 PM

Thank you for sharing your tale of personal growth and accountability. Self awareness is incredibly important, but even more so is patching the holes we find within ourselves, as you did. It's very commendable and a bit inspiring too. Sadly, my own story is a bit more like yours told backwards, so I'm hoping that once I accept and manage my circumstance better I'll also manage to fix more of the holdovers from this time that are producing negative feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 07:25 PM

It is acceptable in a way that it's what a lot of people do, but depending on the length of the marriage, I personally don't find it so. Or at least find it very telling 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 07:00 PM

Hahah oh yeah trust me, I know
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:56 PM

Yes, I agree with you. Obviously haha. But I think no one ever getting to know you completely saddens me. Most of us won't have a lasting impact on history, so the only thing we have is impact on people around us. And if they never know us, then the impact is more faint. I was ruminating on people being more willing to cut someone off, even family, for disagreements that before would have or could have been resolved. The culture is that you can and should cut everyone off who is "holding you bac…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:53 PM

I'm really glad for you :)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:31 PM

Apart from feelings of love, the "true" part hinges on understanding and dedication to each other most imo. An example that I keep seeing and that keeps bugging me, it seems like when a life partner dies, it is acceptable to most to date again within a year. This is apparently a controversial opinion, but I'd say those people didn't have "true "love with their deceased spouses. They loved them and loved having a partner. If you loved and learned and comingled with someone so much, and you are re…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:30 PM

Because I don't know one single person who fully knows me, even from those that love me, and I'm sure it's true in reverse as well. Most people I see are like that too, imperfect fits. Some with time function smoother, but others become less tolerant of each other. And I feel like this message pushed on us of always hustling and striving for more encourages that intolerance. So it's a vicious cycle.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:15 PM

That is disgustingly lovely and always nice to hear :)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 06:09 PM

I think true love doesn't exist for most people anymore, if it ever did. Even the bonds of familial love are becoming less true, so what chance does romance have... I've just been feeling melancholy about it all lately. How do you guys cope?

I think it shows who's on the bottom of EQ distribution as well. E.g. if a man told me he'd rather meet a bear, crocodile or choose a life of solitude than meet a woman, I'd figure he had some negative experiences with women. I would not feel personally attacked as I'm not that self-centred or try to persuade him that he is being sexist, as I don't think I have the right to condescend to him about his lived experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 04:40 PM

No? Obviously the closer you are to the bear the bigger the chance it will hurt you. If you are decently far off/it's a black bear/you are a tallish woman, the odds of it not bothering you are much better. Multiple variables influence the outcome than just a bear in the forest.

Thank you! I don't understand either. A lot of the discourse can be an extention to that famous scene from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia when Dennis talks about the implication. That's what it is, there is a small-ish percentage of bad man, but there is an additional percentage of opportunists that would use the implication of being alone in the forest against a woman. It's not most men, but who'd want to gamble on drawing the shitty outcome with strangers.

Look, I'm one of the women who would choose a man, as I vividly remember reading an account of a young Russian woman who managed to call her mum a few different times while a bear and her cubs were eating her alive and it lasted a while, I think an hour or so. I've read it long ago and sadly haven't managed to forget it as it is one of the most gruesomely horrifying ways to die, and I'd never ever want to gamble on it. But on the other hand, they killed her stepfather pretty quickly. So, yes I a…

I think she has her own very valid perspective, but she is subjective in it, as are the rest of us. I'd say that her interpretation is not an often held one as I haven't yet heard of anyone but her suggesting that. Also, I don't think it's reasonable to infer what others are saying by their answers for themselves tho. It's personal answers with personal justifications based on imaginary scenario happening to you yourself. I find her conclusions unsubstantiated and a product of putting words in p…

We've been through this lol. It's not a rescue needing scenario as no one said lost. It's just hiking through a forest.

I wouldn't personally as a woman choose the bear, but I totally understand those that would. They are saying that in the event of encountering a bad man (not an average one), they'd rather die by animal instinct than be creatively raped/tortured/killed by a man for pleasure. Imo it's very similar to would you rather your dead body be found by a cannibal or a necrophile. It kind of doesn't matter as one is dead and not suffering, but most people have a viscerally negative reaction towards the lat…

An average woman doesn't think that men as a whole are more dangerous than bears. An average woman thinks that encountering a lone random man in a place where it's easy to hide misdeeds is potentially risky. She also thinks that about bears. Most men you'd stumble upon would be totally normal and solid. But in the non-insignificant smaller percentage of the cases you'd be fucked. The same is true for bears, in most cases you are fine, in a smaller percentage you are very screwed. It's playing Ru…

I don't know why you read that question as a rescue scenario waiting to happen tho, I've never seen it implied anywhere. My read of it was a kind of little red riding hood story, you know the path out, it will only take several loong hours for you to actually get out, but you have to avoid the big bad wolf, or in this case bear/strange random man. Being temporarily stuck, as no one I've seen actually said lost in the woods.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 12:34 AM

You are talking about two different things. An average man, like an average woman, is not a survivalist. If you are using the luck of the draw to make for a positive case, you are talking about a random man and not an average one. So wording matters a lot here. If the choice was an average man, a lot more women would choose an average man, myself included. But if you are talking about a random one, then the choice becomes much harder.

Since I've been semi regularly looking up the case, and I feel compelled to answer, no she wasn't the abuser. There is a leaked call, the one that reported the incident that brought the police to the scene, in which it was said that “the gentleman was slapping the girl.” Another witness said it appeared Laundrie had taken her phone and locked her out of the van. He told police that he saw Petito hitting Laundrie as she fought to get back inside the van — her home at the time. This is copied from…

Now of course, some people, women included, run from any personal resposibility and can never introspect because their sense of self is too fragile for that. Also just saying, if it's never even partially her fault in various different life situations and with different people, she is probably the toxic and abusive one. But not everyone is like that. And patterns don't lie, tho you are right, people's interpretations of them might very well be suspect. Rationally speaking both scenarios happen. …

Oh yes, exactly! I very much agree. And they just generally lack self awareness, and most notably the ability to be self-critical. God help their partner if they ask them to see their own responsibilty for the argument. They simply can't do it because they percieve it as an attack always, and then immediately turn it around on the other person in a strawman kind of way oh it's always my fault, everything is always my fault ad nauseam. It's very hard not to give in as the parter has invariably al…

Yes, but whose fault is it if the he in your scenario gets angry every time she wants to go out, and starts interrogating her like she is a suspect in the criminal investigation, or throws a pity party in which she has to reassure him that she would never cheat and that of course, she prefers him over her friends and any other men. She has to soothe and console him each and every time, because he has created a situation in which she choses either him or them, and for wrong choice there are punis…

No, but they probably have anger problems and/or see themselves as perpetual victims. New relationship energy also works on people who are more likely going to abuse their partners. They don't necessarily plan to show themselves in a completely misleading way and they don't generally think badly of themselves (that's why the other person always was the one who supposedly "provoked" them, and it was only natural they reacted to it according to them). They are also putting their best foot forward …

I don't think majority of women are like that, I'm certainly not. But if I had to guess for some that are, it's the low to no expectations, and low stakes primarly. It's very much being kinky when and how they want it, without having to factor a partner's preferences into it. It could be something they potentially have complicated feelings about so feel reluctant about introducting that dynamic, or possibly only feel really kinky a few times a year. E.g. if they introduced it into their relation…

Ahh well, I don't envy your fiancée. Pregnant sex thing and temporary breaks are mostly fine if navigated compassionately, everyone has their preferences, but not doing some of the things you both enjoy ever again doesn't sound like a good outcome for anyone. Especially since you will likely still desire those things, and so will she. Also, imo when the drop happens, when someone goes from mostly satisfied, and it drops to about half way or lower is when it becomes kind of precarious for a relat…

You ultimately misunderstood what Madonna-Whore complex is about. It is not about how women think, feel or behave and the ways men have supposedly adapted to it, but it is absolutely and only about how men do in no way related to women's behaviour. Since you tied it to AF/BB strategy, it's not at all equivalent. Basically what redpill postulates is that a woman will fuck an alpha with hope that he will commit to her, and once biological or social clock start ticking she will reluctantly settle f…

Exactly! I very much agree. Because of our limited energy supply we can't play around and waste time on someone who is putting very little effort in cause it's glaringly obvious pretty soon that he is doing it. It's not going to fly if you value your time and energy, as we by necessity do. And you are very much right that a lot of women tolerate their chosen partner's miserly and minimal contributions way too long.
