lots going on here 65k is absolutely not too much money. i think you’re looking at the SMV thing a little too mathematically here. a guy who has never been to college but runs a successful construction business, works out, is handsome etc can have a higher SMV than a guy who’s been to college. in real life, people don’t go around rating people according to some complicated formula. also, college is a great way to meet guys. you can date in college. you can even get married and have kids in colle…

honestly reading this makes me so sad for your guy. it sounds like you have a LOT of expectations after only two months and are letting this experience color your impression of him. i don’t have any specific advice about the sex itself but you are treading on very thin ice here. being overly critical of his performance will kill his confidence and harsh his perception of you. the more you criticize his performance, the worse this issue will get. imagine if you’re taking a driving test and the gu…

A captain would not ask his wife to harm herself for his sexual fetishes. You should not prioritize your husband’s kinks over your own physical health and well-being, especially as a mother who should be modeling a healthy relationship for her children. I would encourage you to seek recovery with the help of a therapist and dietician if need be, and suggest psychological help or marriage counseling for your husband/you as a couple. RPW theory does not apply to a situation this disordered. This i…

Track your calories in an app (I use myfitnesspal). Measure your portions with a food scale and log everything you eat or drink. Just doing this kinda shames you into eating well in my experience. Check out r/CICO and r/1500isplenty and r/1200isplenty for inspo (you need more than 1200 calories especially if breastfeeding but it’s good for low cal recipe and snack inspo). edit: also r/eatcheapandhealthy

If marriage and children are something you want, you should never stay with someone who doesn’t want marriage and children/wants them on a radically different timeline than you.

Just tell him: “The other day, you mentioned possibly seeing other women outside of our marriage. Is that something you were serious about?” and if he responds in the affirmative, tell him you’re not okay with that. See what he says. Monogamy is a totally fine and normal boundary to have in a relationship. I wouldn’t want to be in a relationship where I’m being cheated on. You said he is newly into RP stuff though, it’s possible he is just going a bit rambo and talking out of his ass, so you sho…

I would make a list of everything that needs to be done and the frequency you’d like to do it in, and then make a schedule. I have an app for this. There are a ton of tutorials online for basically everything. I would start with finding a simple makeup routine that works for you (even if it’s just a bit of mascara and a tinted lip balm) and a flattering hairstyle. YouTube has a ton of good tutorials for beginners for hair and makeup. The Youtuber Mrs. Midwest has a lot of really good videos about the smaller details of femininity, how things like posture etc can help you present as more feminine. One really easy thing to start with is work …

You’ve gotten a lot of good advice about the how to of losing weight and getting fit, but I just want to commend you on taking your husband’s criticism with a good attitude. there’s two types of guys who date younger women – HVM who could have their pick of women from any age group, and LVM who can only date younger women because women their own age won’t put up with their shit. i think your guy is in category 2.
/r/RedPillWomen19/06/22 12:15 PM

I think two things are true here: it’s fine for him to want a girlfriend who is fit/not overweight, and it’s fine for you to want a boyfriend who doesn’t enforce arbitrary weight limits as a condition of monogamy. It sounds like you two just aren’t compatible. Keep up the good work with your weight loss! 60lbs down so far is very impressive.

female beauty is highly controllable. there are subreddits you can post photos on and people will give you specific feedback on how to improve your looks. if you’re thin, put in some amount of effort with your looks, and have a good personality, you’re above average and will be able to land a man.

yep, this. as long as baby isn’t in any danger, you need to let him figure out what works for himself. maybe run an errand or get out of the house for an hour or two on a semi regular basis so you’re not tempted to swoop in and “help.”

100% this. The kind of man who wants a stay at home wife is not the kind of man who is going to want to take on your 50k grad school student debt. There is nothing wrong with perusing either path but don’t expect both.
/r/RedPillWomen28/05/22 04:43 PM

Going to go against the grain here and advise you not to get the graduate degree. My husband and I are able to live comfortable on a single income because I have no student debt. We worked for a year to pay off all of his (engineering degree) and then I quit my job when my son was born to be a SAHM. If I had 50k+ of student loan debt, that would not be possible. honestly, and maybe this isn’t strictly RPW advice, i think when it comes to issues like this that are severely impacting your attraction to your husband, it’s best to be honest. don’t be a dick about it obviously, but i think it’s okay to bring it up. i’d want my husband to bring it up with me if the roles were reversed 🤷‍♀️

Unless he is crazy rich, paying off student loan debt for a degree that you’re not using is going to come across as a waste of money. If he does want you to be a housewife/SAHM, being frugal and wise with spending is usually a big part of that. I’m not saying that you’re not wise with your money, you guys just have different ideas about what that looks like. Staying friends with an former romantic interest is usually a bad idea. Things can become messy and, if you’ve already determined you would…

Lots of people have lots of different dealbreakers in relationships. I know a guy who won’t date any girl who went to public school. He’s not wrong for having that dealbreaker, even though I think it’s dramatic as hell. He’s made the decision that a relationship with someone who went to public school wouldn’t work. Your guy has made the decision that a relationship with someone who wants a degree wouldn’t work. Even if he’s wrong, he made that decision and is enforcing it, and it’s not your job …

Exactly this. This sub isn’t going to be able to answer if having a SAHM or a working mom is better, because it’s a matter of opinion. If this is a strong desire of yours, and your boyfriend is staunchly opposed, you guys are not compatible in this area, and you need to decide if that is worth ending the relationship over.

I’m not trying to gatekeep anyone’s marriage, or tell them what they can and can’t do, it’s just my advice. Someone’s value is in Christ, not their sins in the past - however that doesn’t mean that Christians shouldn’t consider that when pursuing marriage. Losing your virginity is highly controllable, whether you come from a Christian home or not. The only situation where it isn’t is rape, and I don’t really consider that to be losing your virginity as it isn’t a voluntary choice. I think it’s o…

22F, married. I might get hate from other women for this, but I would advise that a Christian man never marry a woman who is not a virgin. Even if she lost her virginity before she became a Christian, even if she only slept with one or two serious boyfriends. Obviously, if she repented and confessed her sins to God, she is forgiven by God. That doesn’t mean that you have to ignore such a big red flag with someone you are considering marrying.

No amount of romantic effort in a relationship will make up for a lack of sexual intimacy, if the man isn’t also asexual/low sex drive. It’s worth seeing a psychiatrist/therapist who specializes in trauma informed care, based off your other comments. Maybe even just try a few sessions to see how you like it. There’s no shame in it at all and it could be very beneficial.
/r/RedPillWomen02/03/20 02:22 PM

The vast majority of men will not want to be in a relationship with you if you don’t plan on having sex with them ever. Relationships are about sexual attraction, and if you don’t desire your SO, you are robbing him of a key part of a healthy relationship. You say that you are asexual as if it were some immutable characteristic but I don’t really think that’s accurate. Have you seen a doctor about this? edit: a word!

I would recommend you check out a LCMS church near you, if there is one! I belong to an Lutheran church and I love the liturgy, and the doctrine is absolutely true to the Bible. If you’re more of an introvert, Bryan Wolfmueller has a great YouTube channel, as previously mentioned, and Ten Minute Bible Hour has a few videos where he visits a Lutheran Church (Will Weedon’s, I think?)

Honestly, going against the grain here, I listened to the Surrendered Wife on my fiancé’s Audible account under his credits. He teased me about the name of the book when I first downloaded it, and I told him it was a book about being a good wife. However we were engaged at this point so it may have been a bit less weird.

Have you ever worked retail? I definitely used to have this problem. I worked as a cashier and customers would ask me if I was upset, tell me to smile or cheer up, that kind of thing. It was super annoying, and my solution was to adapt a Retail Smile. A Retail Smile is a small smile that creates a pleasant and approachable expression. Practice in a mirror, because I felt like I was grinning when I was really just giving a friendly half-smile. It feels weird for a while, and it’s definitely a con…

I’m 5”11 and my FH is the same height. I was a little insecure about it at first but I literally never think about it now, 3 years in. The only thing that matters is that you’re attracted to him, not that he hits every single arbitrary measure on your checklist.

Yikes! Is he the Captain or are you? Both of these examples come across as pretty blue pill tactics to try and control your man. Maybe the date idea in #1 sounds super sexy to you, but it’s not his cup of tea. Have you tried bringing him your problem, not the solution? “Hey babe, I’m feeling a little sad because I feel like we don’t do a lot of spontaneous fun stuff together. If you have any college experience, you can get some type of office job: receptionist, office assistant, data entry. I’m not saying that’s your long term career but maybe something that could be more fulfilling than your current job (no shade at all - I worked a similar job for a long time up until very recently). Mine is a .3c solitaire on a yellow gold band from James Allen. I love the classic look, and the size is honestly perfect for me because it looks delicate and feminine. However I also looked at moissanite and morganite rings on etsy when FH asked for suggestions, and any gemstone ring will be significantly cheaper than a diamond as well. How old are you both and how long have you been together? Do you love each other? Does he want to be married and have a family with you? Are you religious? It seems to me like there are two issues at play here. One is your conflicting opinions on sex before marriage. If this isn’t resolved, this could be an incompatibility that warrants a break up. Does your BF know about your position on sex and cohabitation before marriage? How has he reacted to the difference in opinion? It’s really good that…

The Surrendered Wife is not religion based. If I recall correctly she has a brief blurb about a higher power but that is the singular reference to spirituality or religion in the book. I would highly recommend it to any woman in a relationship - it’s short, it only took me an hour to listen to the audiobook.
/r/RedPillWomen26/06/19 10:37 PM

That’s cool he’s supportive! I think it would be up there as far as feminine tattoos, but it really depends on the artist you go to. Are tattoos unladylike? It depends, honestly. It depends on your style, the artist you go to, etc. I’m have about six or seven tattoos in easy-to-conceal spots and my SO has zero. He doesn’t love tattoos, but says they’re well done and he doesn’t mind them. However, I got them all before we started dating, and if I could get a re-do, I probably wouldn’t get them because I know his preference. I’m also in college. We don’t have the exact same body type, so I can’t offer specific advice, but I think wearing jeans or a skirt can really make a difference. The majority of girls at my college wear leggings/workout shorts/PJs - and sometimes they rock it, but I think wearing jeans or a skirt makes the outfit less casual and makes you stand out a little. Isn’t 40 hours full time? I’m part time, and I’m either in class, lab, or at work around 60 hours a week, not factoring in homework or study time. Unless you plan on working more intense work weeks than is average after you graduate, you will definitely have more free time after graduation. I’ve never heard of a job allowing employees to do homework on the clock, but maybe OP could check out on campus jobs that might be more lenient with that.

This comment is only relevant if you are not working during college. If you are, you’re spending 15-25 hours in class, 20-35 at work, and a significant chunk of your free time doing homework or studying. This is close to my current situation and while I definitely do not have a lot of free time, my boyfriend and I are able to see each other 2-3 times a week because we prioritize each other. This is a really interesting response. I think it's pretty obvious in OP's previous post that he is not suggesting segregating flights on the basis of gender. His point is that men and women can make decisions to build or neutralize sexual tension in their interactions with one another. His conclusion is, "Make your decisions wisely in terms of where to set boundaries with members of the opposite sex." How this is applied is a matter to decide yourself, or with your significant other. But I tota…
