This sub is overlooking serious issues relating to men's rights in favour of bitching.Upvotes cause more people to see posts. When I look at my front page, it's almost entirely made up of the unproductive posts OP is referring to. Upvotes=raising awareness. | /r/MensRights | 03/09/14 05:26 PM
Double standard: when it's a man's nudes that become public, feminists like Kate Knibbs (literally) shame him for taking them. The same Knibbs wrote a scathing condemnation of the recent celebs leaksUsing a password protected server is not the equivalent of leaving a valuable possession in plain sight behind an unlocked door. It's not like the thief just saw the pictures lying around. | /r/MensRights | 03/09/14 02:15 AM
Artificial wombs are misogyny according to NewsweekI think the conservative concerns are more along the lines of stem cell research, in-vitro, etc. It's experimenting on developing human life. I'm totally pro choice and I can't think of any ethical way to grow a baby in an artificial womb. Even if the fetus was anatomically perfect, there's not really any way to know what really goes into growing an emotionally healthy, properly social person without some trial and error. Artificial womb babies could turn out to all have autism, for instance. | /r/MensRights | 08/08/14 03:18 AM
Can we put something in the sidebar to explain how we're not even remotely related to the red pill?Just because you disagree with me, doesn't mean I'm slandering anybody. I've presented the official dogma of TRP as support for my position. It's actually not clear what your position is. Do you believe that the generalizations they make about women in their constitution are fair and accurate? Or is your view that they aren't misogynists because they express contempt for everyone? | /r/MensRights | 05/06/14 06:21 AM
Can we put something in the sidebar to explain how we're not even remotely related to the red pill? This is precisely why it's important for the MRM to make clear, right from the start, what it is NOT. Feminism failed to shut down the "kill all the men" rhetoric of the extremists, and now feminists are all too often seen as bitter man haters, even though very few actually feel that way. TRP may not be in contradiction to the MRM, but it is, by-and-large, misogynistic and not a positive way for MRAs to define themselves. PS: I've provided my evidence for TRP misogyny; feel free to discuss it wi… | /r/MensRights | 04/06/14 11:57 PM
Can we put something in the sidebar to explain how we're not even remotely related to the red pill?So what do you view as the goal of the men's rights movement? | /r/MensRights | 04/06/14 07:56 AM
Can we put something in the sidebar to explain how we're not even remotely related to the red pill?Just came back to add some evidence... From the Red Pill Constitution: http://illimitablemen.com/red-pill-constitution/ | Women are irrational and inconsistent, they have a capacity for logic but it is not their modus operandi, that is to say that they must exert effort to be logical as it is not their factory setting. A logical woman is easily baited into becoming emotional; women are easy to compromise. Their decisions are based on their current emotional state rather than the abstraction of l… | /r/MensRights | 04/06/14 07:40 AM
Can we put something in the sidebar to explain how we're not even remotely related to the red pill?I subscribe to TRP and they seem to express disdain and disrespect for women on a daily basis. I don't judge them based on their reputation; I judge them based on their posts and comments, which are consistently misogynistic. | /r/MensRights | 04/06/14 06:40 AM
Why don't the feminists condemn the misandrists in their movement?I consider myself a feminist and I like men very much. I am not a particularly active or vocal feminist, so my way of expressing disapproval for misandry is to down vote, occasionally post a comment explaining why I disagree, or stop providing page views (good riddance Jezebel). As with any social movement, the extremists are likely to be the most vocal and receive the most attention. I classify myself as a feminist because it's a blanket term for equal rights. It isn't a great name for it, but … | /r/MensRights | 25/05/14 06:33 PM
Buzfeed article about Man rating app Lulu starts off with "[l]et’s all agree—just for the sake of argument—that men are a lesser, subspecies of human, possessing below-average abilities in nearly allIt doesn't sound good either way. It's not like most women would read the Buzzfeed version and be cool with it. Bigoted generalizations about half the population (either half) are never gonna be a good idea. | /r/MensRights | 20/05/14 12:50 AM
