| 1 | I am argumentative and confrontational. How do I change this?I am unsure what the cause of the problem is. I was very shy and passive as a child, so I think I try to assert myself more and not be pushed around. Perhaps I have gone too far in the opposite direction! | /r/seduction | 02/03/16 01:23 PM |
| 1 | I am argumentative and confrontational. How do I change this?I know I used to argue a lot when I was younger myself, probably for the same reason as you. I also have my own business and have matured over the last few years, and arguements seemed to be a thing of the past. But now they're constant, so it could be me, it could be her, or it could be a combination and the way we clash. Giving them validity is a good suggestion, thanks. I believe I do this, but apparently my tone can be dismissive. So I will have to work on this, too. | /r/seduction | 02/03/16 01:22 PM |
| 1 | I am argumentative and confrontational. How do I change this? Thanks for your thorough response. I wouldn't say I'm friends with overly passive people -- quite a mix. I had never realised I was overly defensive until my current girl pointed it out, as I tend to avoid conflict wherever possible. You are completely right that for some reason I am more interested in being right than considering the other person's feelings. I am glad I have been made aware of this so I can look to improve myself in this area. And I also think you may be right about her. She is… | /r/seduction | 02/03/16 01:19 PM |
