that’s so kind of you to say :) From what I’ve seen and experienced first hand women who speak up for men do get treated terribly by other women, which honestly just reinforces why this kind of support matters so much.

I’m from California! I had a close friend who was raped by his mother as a kid, and no one ever took him seriously. Watching that made me realize how little support there is for men in those situations, so I started looking online nonprofits and resources near me. That’s how I found different programs and shelters that actually help male victims, whether it’s abuse, sexual assault, or even fathers getting treated unfairly in family court. 1in6 is a really solid organization that focuses specific…

I’m a female MRA and work with a non profit that helps men who are victims of domestic violence and SA. You are not a pick me for standing up for men, far from it.

I support men’s rights because I’ve watched our legal system and society repeatedly fail men while simultaneously demonizing them. There’s a massive double standard that people refuse to acknowledge where men are expected to be disposable and accountable, yet receive very little in return. I’ve seen how male victims of abuse and SA are minimized or outright disbelieved. I’ve seen close friends get destroyed financially and legally by false dv & rape accusations while being told that questioning …

The double standard is insane. When a woman leaves, it’s “empowerment” When a man does, it’s “cruelty”

This is heartbreaking. I’m so sorry this happened to you, You truly have been through hell. If you haven’t already, maybe consider making a Gofundme? I’d certainly contribute.

A couple of friends and I are actually in the process of starting a nonprofit to help men navigate the legal system specifically those being unfairly treated in family courts or falsely accused of rape/SA. We’re tired of just talking about how broken things are and want to give real support and resources to men who are being overlooked or silenced. It might not change the world overnight, but it’s a start.

That’s not the point of what i said. I brought up personal examples to highlight what I’ve seen, not to say that’s the only reason I care or what made me care. I was already aware and paying attention to men’s issues before that.

absolutely wild how a man can be polite, smile, not linger, not touch her, move the kayak himself……and still end up being the source of her “nightmare” like what exactly was he supposed to do differently? not be born a man? lmao she needs therapy omg

what a fucked up thing to even say about my dad or brother suffering just to dismiss what i said. i never needed some personal tragedy to care about men’s issues, i cared because i paid attention and was raised this way, not because i was forced to. if you want women to support men, to actually listen and advocate instead of ignoring their pain, then maybe stop instantly accusing the ones who do speak up of only doing it out of self-interest.

participation from women in subs like this is negligible. But from my perspective as a woman, I think a big part of the problem is that they’re not taught to see men as people who can be victims. they are taught that men have privilege, & power, and that if they’re hurting, it must be their fault. A lot of women genuinely dont know or simply don’t care how bad it is for some men, especially, when it comes to family courts, domestic abuse, mental health etc. It’s easier to stay in the comfort of …

wtf???? how is it mocking or baiting to speak up about male victims and lack of support? because i post sexual content elsewhere?, i suddenly can’t care about serious issues too? that’s a wild assumption. Most of my male family members are victims of female sexual assault and it’s insulting to even hear that you think i’m baiting. i’m literally advocating for men to be treated with empathy and not mocked.

as a woman myself, who’s seen firsthand how badly men can get dismissed when they open up, i 100% agree that they need their own safe spaces. a lot of them are hurting and have literally nowhere to go without being mocked or labeled as weak. the second they express emotion or pain, it’s ridiculed. My best guy friend was violently raped by a woman and all of his friends mocked him for being a pussy. It’s disgusting. I’ve been assaulted and anyone i told gave me so much care and empathy yet, men j…

Honestly, the claim that women are naturally better environmental stewards is kinda crazy when you actually look at global consumption data. The fashion industry is one of the biggest polluters on the planet and is overwhelmingly driven by female consumer demand…Fast fashion, constant trend cycles, and overproduction exist because the market responds to female buying habits (as well as cosmetics)

why is the bitch fucking smiling. this isn't just lenient, it's fucking deranged, if a man raped a 13-year-old CHILD for a year, he'd never see daylight again. but this bitch gets five years and has the audacity to smile like it's a fucking joke? Legal system is a fucking clown show.

Feminism has engineered a world where “believe all women” isn’t just a slogan it’s now just a weapon. We’ve replaced justice with emotional hysteria, and truth with gender loyalty. A single accusation w no evidence, no trial, no facts is all it takes to destroy a man’s career, his sanity, and his entire life. Companies drop him, friends disappear, media drags his name through the mud . And even when he’s proven innocent, it’s too late. The damage is permanent And the woman who lied? Nothing happ…

my step brother and i no longer speak to our parents due to them physically abusing us as kids. So. no unfortunately. I’ve not talked to my friends parents, i did bitch out all his friends who joked about it and said “lucky you bro” I genuinely try to support them the best i can but i can only do so much 😔

honestly heartbreaking. neither are the same since then, and refuse to go to therapy bc they don’t think they will be taken seriously.

That’s a fair point. I could be wrong, but I think a lot of people are just reacting out of deep hurt and betrayal, not actual hatred. As you stated, it’s important to call out poor phrasing but also to understand the pain behind why some men lash out

I think the reason this sub sometimes feels “anti-woman” is because it’s one of the few places where people are actually allowed to criticize and voice their opinions on feminism without being instantly shut down. The reality is, feminism frames men as oppressors by default and treats male struggles as either irrelevant or deserved. So naturally, any honest discussion about any men’s issues is going to involve pushing back on that. Being pro-man today almost requires challenging feminism, becaus…

not a man, but one of my best friends is. He was hanging out with a female friend at his place one day when she drugged him and raped him. When he tried to tell his parents and some mutual friends, they laughed it off. I believed him and begged him to report her. He did, but the police didn’t take him seriously either. Not long after, he attempted suicide. my 16 year old step brother was also raped by 2 female staff at one of those christian turn around camps for troubled youth and nobody believ…

Reddit rewards feminist takes because that’s the echo chamber it’s built around. men’s issues are only taken seriously when they can be twisted to serve women’s narratives. If it doesn’t center women, it gets buried.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
