Idk maybe it's my mindset but I'd rather see if I can address the problem myself rather than open up the possibility of me being mentally ill straight off the bat. Like it's entirely possible OP is sheltered and lacks social skills. No amount of therapy or drugs can fix that unless hes literally too scared to even approach/talk to people (doesn't sound like it).

The enemy of anxiety is experience. Just keep putting yourself out there and you will eventually get over it. Also don't be outcome focused. Be present in the moment with the girl and enjoy the conversation and date for what it is already. Things will escalate instinctively if she's having a good time.

Just because I like pointless drama...what's the vibe like with the new guy? Does he know?

Grass is always greener man. Emotionless, empty physical relationships are just as draining and isolating. In my opinion at least. A lot of people like the bachelor life, I find it kinda gross. I look at learning game the same way as I look at learning a martial art. Someone with the character to abuse the skills and not only practice in self defense isn't someone that should ethically be allowed to train.

Game will get you in a relationship. Your character as a man is what maintains it.

Never sacrifice gym or work for a new girl. Treat them as a side quest until you can see a future with her.

...that doesn't even make any sense. "In person" dates happen regardless of if I met them online or not

Women have options but they mostly suck. Otherwise you wouldn't see them complain about dating so much. So yourbjob is to be better than the competition

If game is your defining character trait...you have no character I'm sorry 😂 Game is a tool. It doesn't define your ideals, ethics or personality. Can't imagine how dull someone would need to be to think having game is a substitute for it.

You're complaining that you have a conscience? You shouldn't manipulate people, period. There's nothing wrong with casual/short term sex but you owe it to the other person to be honest about your intentions. "But this will result in less sex because of the culture". Don't care. Doesn't matter. It's the right thing to do. You'll find SOMEONE who is the exception to the cultural norm.
/r/seduction04/03/24 11:30 PM

That has more to do with your character as a man at that point vs having game and following instructions.

No offense but what you're describing is like no brainer obvious advice. Love bombing is obviously a surefire way to scare her off. Like you don't need to write a 3 paragraph reddit thread telling people this obvious shit. Again, people are trying to bend OPs advice into something reasonable when it's just bad advice. Can we all admit it is just bad advice?
/r/seduction02/03/24 10:00 AM
2

Can you admit there's a far cry of a difference between not being a whiny crybaby and "never express your feelings to her 🗿" Because the latter is what OP has advised and is 100% fake behavior to everyone except the most emotionally stunted individuals...who probably won't make good partners.
/r/seduction02/03/24 12:51 AM

Never talking about a future with her or telling her you like her somehow is supposed to land you in a healthy LTR? Who hurt you dude?
/r/seduction01/03/24 11:51 PM
7

It is absolutely shit advice. Again, you're bending what this idiot wrote to make it seem less extreme and more reasonable. You're not going to see me disagree with your above opinion, but again we BOTH know that's not what OP said. Let's stop playing dumb here. "NEVER talk about a future with her" "NEVER qualify yourself" "NEVER reveal information about yourself" Notice how all of these have a constant with it? Does this sound conducive to a healthy relationship? Again OP has no intention of us…
/r/seduction01/03/24 11:36 PM
8

Nah nah nah don't salvage this shit advice with "oh everything in moderation hurp durp" Obviously women like that confident leadership you're describing but we both know OP isn't referring to that with his "advice". The guy literally wrote "never express how much you like her"....come on dude. You're better than this.
/r/seduction01/03/24 11:32 PM

That's right guys. Be fake, never reveal information about yourself, never get close to her, never tell her how much she means to you. If you do she will leave you. Seriously, some of y'all have been hurt and it shows.

No offense but mystery has never been helpful beyond the early stages of dating. Part of intimacy with a long term partner is trust, good communication and making her feel safe/at ease. That can't work if you're "keeping her guessing" by putting on a cringe persona. Not to mention it sounds fucking exhausting to be fake as fuck like that for longer than a few weeks.
/r/seduction01/03/24 11:18 PM

Where and in what context. Are you on a date with her? Then yeah it's appropriate. Are you just making conversation in a social event for the first time? Sucks to suck and be more interesting

It's no more low effort than coffee or a drink. Any chick that gives me sass for low effort first dates gets kicked to the curb. Don't have the time or patience to deal with princess behavior.

Why do people always frame this as an hour long, nice restaurant commitment? Y'all realize you can get a burger or something at a local spot, pay like $30 for the both of you and be out the door in 30-45 minutes? All my dates grabbing a low key dinner go well.
/r/seduction29/01/24 11:59 PM

Because it clearly idealizes certain women...or people as a whole. There's a reason why people think relationships are difficult to build. It takes work. Framing it from the perspective that it stems from the character of your partner is reductive as shit, and it's clear OP has 0 experience actually sharing space with a woman long term. As if people don't take months to years to actually learn what their partner truly thinks or what their ideals are. With the obvious extreme exceptions, red flag…

Careful you don't fall down a bad headspace by doing this. You should be having fun, but an addiction is an addiction and if it impares you from being healthy and happy, you should look into it. Also keep in mind that you're dealing with actual people end of the day. Not tools to feed you dopamine.

Dudes will be 2 bad days away from suicide and think "be authentic" is applicable to them lmao. I'd wager to say you shouldn't even be dating if your mental health is that poor. "Be authentic" as a piece of advice is to make your authentic self someone attractive and worth spending time with.
/r/seduction09/10/23 01:19 AM

Nah bullshit. There's never a bad time to practice and the reality is people will never have their shit together. You can focus on an area of your life like career and others will suffer. It's a balancing act. It's like not wanting to go to the gym before losing SOME weight so people don't judge you. Fuck em.
/r/seduction18/07/23 10:17 PM

Absolutely! Strong women are legitimately sexy to me and would prefer to date them. However a lot of women misconstrue assertiveness with just being mean/bitchy for absolutely no reason. There is a difference. Assertiveness is being secure in yourself, being needlessly combative is based on insecurity.

Better. Anyways I don't even agree with the method. Abe Lincoln would absolutely spend 6 hours sharpening his axe because he's Abe Lincoln and he already KNOWS how to chop down a tree because he lived in the stone age. If you gave me an axe, sharp or not I wouldn't have a fucking clue how to cut down a redwood safely or effectively. That comes with practice and repetition. ...do you see where I'm going with this?

If you were dying of thirst in the desert, and someone offered you water if you cut off your leg, I'd understand the temptation to do so. Likewise, the feeling of loneliness being all consuming for many young men is very understandable and relatable. Doesn't mean it's healthy. Much like chopping off your foot is permanent change for a temporary satiation of thirst. You still have self agency to develop yourself, and that's a good thing because YOU are the one person that can fix your own problem…

Break the touch barrier and just make your conversations playful. The easiest way for me is to lightly tease the other person.

First of all consider what the gym means to you before trying anything. I personally love the lone time I get from lifting and it's one to the areas where I don't really want to worry about how I look/act for the sake of women. If you don't care, then legit play the slow game. You're going to see the same people week to week so just let things build up naturally. Eye contact here and there, small talk by the water fountain. Just build comfort and familiarity and one you are essentially "gym budd…

Do what you want man, though personally I wouldn't pursue anyone that young for anything other than casual sex. Relationship-wise I legit have nothing I can relate with someone that age, and honestly hearing how 18 year old girls talk is like nails on a chalkboard for me.
/r/seduction07/09/22 11:06 PM

Eh those texts read as super Game-y and most women can smell you're being fake if you actually don't talk like this.

Eh, it's not really that different to gaming. Both are solitary consumption of entertainment. Honestly, being a homebody isn't a deal breaker at all, because I love having a night in too. On top of that, girls like this normally LOVE it when you offer to go out somewhere (like on a hike) because they've had limited opportunities doing it themselves. It's almost like you're taking them for an adventure, and women find that really attractive.

I honestly go for a compliment like "hey sorry for interrupting but you have sick shoes/ awesome hair/.nice style" If they are interested it often naturally branches out into a conversation about where they got the items and I can steer it to close by asking for her number. If she's not interested, she just says "thanks" to the compliment and walks away. Honestly a win win

There's benefits to cold approach to doing it regardless. First of all, you don't need to exclusively do cold approach. Even if you only get 2 dates, it's 2 dates on top of the attention you'd get on dating apps. Second, cold approach allows you to flex your social skill muscles. Flirting, projecting confidence, and talking to strangers is a skill. Even if you don't get a date, being able to strike up a flirty conversation with someone is good to practice. You can apply these skills on your othe…

You don't. You clearly want a relationship so pursue it. But also self reflect on WHY you feel this way. Make sure you have other stuff going on and come to terms with where this feeling is coming from? Is it anxiety? Is it insecurity? How's your self worth? Wanting a relationship should not affect these other parameters. If it does, you are likely putting way too much stock into pursuing women. This is shit you need to explore. And if it's really impacting your happiness, seek some therapy. Lot…

Love and sex are a component of a happy life and you absolutely won't have fufillment if those needs aren't met. If you feel lonely, those feelings won't go away until the need is met, it's your mind signalling it's needs to you the same way you feel hunger or thirst. What people mean when they tell you to not put women on a pedestal is that while it's great to put yourself out there, the pursuit of women should not become your ENTIRE life or take up all of your thoughts. Sex and love should add…

I don't actually think it is manipulative, I'm just mapping it on to how I approach dating and am trying to figure out why you in particular condemn my way when it's basically the same as your way. It seems like the only issue you have is some aversion to early sex...which is ok. I don't see how waiting until you get to know someone better first affects anything aside from personal preference. You could still hypothetically cold approach people, set up dates, and find them attractive and just...…

But it did get more physical didn't it? Do you remember if you or her crossed that boundary first? One of you purposely introduced a sexual component into the friendship. By your logic it's manipulative since you compromised the friendship by pursuing something more. How does this differ from meeting strangers aside from the fact that it happens a bit quicker.
/r/seduction25/08/22 12:48 AM

I didn't say that because it's pretty fucking obvious that what happens on a date should be consentual between two people. Jesus Christ. Cold approach definitely doesn't work most times, as most people aren't going to be into you....and that's ok. Part of what makes a relationship special is because that 1 person is rare/unique no? And besides that I recommend cold approaching ON TOP of mutual friends, dating apps, hobbies and clubs. It's just 1 more way to meet people. I'm curious, how did you …
/r/seduction25/08/22 12:40 AM

You're projecting a lot here. My only intention when cold approaching is to start a conversation and see what happens. Most times theyre not interested and I walk away, completely respecting their autonomy. Just because I find someone attractive enough to say hi doesn't mean I'm planning some intracate manipulation to get sex lmao. I already said that I don't even pursue sexual language or action until I'm actually ON a date and it's clear she's interested as well. This shit is mutual, she needs…

Sex is part of a relationship no? Every relationship I've been in started with a mutual physical attraction. And most times when I notice a stranger...it's gonna be because of their looks as I don't know anything else about them lol. Are you imagining me saying "wife please" to a stranger or something? How do you think this works lmao? Like if I was actively looking for a LTR, it wouldn't mean I won't have sex, it's not mutually exclusive, and for the first date it's going to be the same regardl…

What you are feeling when you are actually into someone is anxiety about "not fucking up", and changing your behavior, whereas for other women you don't really care either way. You probably already know what the advice will be: Channel your attitude when talking to the 9s and 10s and apply it to the women you're interested in. I get it's scary when you actually care about her rejecting you, but the reason you are successful with the other women is because you don't care and you are being your au…

You should probably make your intentions clear from the start when cold approaching someone, but also temper your language to not come on too strong. End of the day it is a stranger. Keep the conversation 99% friendly with a hint of light flirting. I normally just compliment something their wearing or how their hair looks and say it looks cute and go from there. No pick up tactics, no physical contact. If I sense she's into me, I ask for a number and set up a date where it's more acceptable to a…

In my experience, the women I go for are HORRIBLE at giving signals. I had a date where the girl didn't really reciprocate any physical contact so I felt like she wasn't into it. Got a text the day after asking why I didn't kiss her 🤷‍♀️
/r/seduction24/08/22 11:55 PM

In my experience, both are ok tbh. If she's into you, it's not like asking will break the spell or some shit. Just read the vibe, and make sure the moment actually calls for a kiss.

For me that's only because they show up with little to no makup (I do morning coffee dates over drinks). Not really a bad thing in my opinion.

It shouldnt be a constant effort to keep someone's attention. If they are truly attracted to you, they'll stick around by you just being your best self. Basically make sure you are happy with your life and have meaningful hobbies and friends, and also make sure you make an effort to talk and get to know her as well, making sure she feels seen and heard. Lastly never try to force anything. It's hard to go through someone you are in to losing interest in you...but there's honestly nothing you can …

Yes and no. There's something about dealing with images that distorts how attractive a person can be in normal lighting and in motion. I find that my standards are HIGHER online and certain people who I find attractive irl I probably would have swiped left on if I saw a still image of them
