This is why you don’t even look at women you don’t know. You act as if they do not exist because the risk is existential.

We already have evidence from the UK that female teachers discriminate against male students. This new program will be used by teachers to hurt vulnerable boys. Then they will point at the men those boys become and say ‘see! I told you they were less than.’

I’ll admit it still amazes me how often you’ll still see a group of women making sexist statements about men at work behind closed doors. But I think I’ve crossed the apex of the hill and am now on the descent. I inwardly chuckle when I hear and see the loud negative opinions women share about men, because it creates an inescapable irony. The louder and crueler they become, the less true the things they are saying seem, until it genuinely looks like they are speaking about themselves.

I’m confused how anyone who accepts the premise of patriarchy theory can possibly consider themself an expert on male psychology. That’s like someone who identifies with Ahab claiming they are a leading expert on whales.

Self-preservation of their sense of identity. A feminist is a group member, not a student of a philosophical school. If you heard two self professed utilitarian philosophers arguing with each other at no point would you ever hear one of them declare ‘you’re not a utilitarian at all!’ because the idea that one’s own philosophical identity matters is absurd. Your ideas matter. But in all feminist discourse there is the ever present obvious threat of exclusion for wrong-thought. This works because …

You ever look at a bird in a cage or a fish in a tank and feel overwhelmed by the fundamental unfairness of it? Confining a creature that naturally moves in all directions into a small rigidly defined space seems so cruel. That is what feminists in positions of power and authority have been doing to boys and men for decades. Demanding that they contort themselves into twisted versions of what they could have been all to satisfy some flippant ephemeral emotional ‘need’ that has everything to do w…

It is absolutely part of a primary school teacher’s job to support the emotional development of small children.

Men and boys are assigned super-agency. Everything is our fault, even the decisions and ideas of other people.

A feminist is just someone who accepts the premise of patriarchy theory. So it is someone who believes without question that women are uniquely and totally oppressed and endangered by every man they see. It shouldn’t be surprising that someone who truly believes this will develop hatred for men which is then extended to boys.

She’s just selling what her audience wants to hear. It turns out raising girls on false stories of oppression leads them to unjustifiably hate men.

From a sociological perspective it’s certainly a bold strategy to take a group of people who has historically been your highest performing cohort academically speaking and over a period of decades disenfranchise and denigrate them until they give up and start killing themselves. And let’s stop accepting the verbiage ‘falling behind.’ Men and boys have been and are being held back. There’s a difference.

I’m gonna take this question from a purely men’s rights stance and for a moment bracket any benefit women gained from metoo. It was a net benefit for men as a class. People in the entertainment industry predate on young men who just want to work. Those predators should be removed from those industries. MeToo helped towards that end for men. The enormous cost has been decreased baseline belief in male honesty and increased baseline belief in female honesty, which of course does not match reality …

I think there is a fascinating adjacent concept here regarding how when a woman says she feels ‘unsafe’ or even merely ‘uncomfortable’ it is often used to justify forcing men to make fundamental material changes to their behavior and lives. And I posit that the goal isn’t even the outcome, but the self importance derived from the process. Can you even imagine having the power as a man to say ‘well I don’t like how that feels’ and watch as women are forced en masse to comply with your gut and acc…

The initial article this one refers to, ‘The Great Feminization,’ is really good. This line from it is accurate and bleak: It is still controversial, even in conservative circles, to say that there are too many women in a given field or that women in large numbers can transform institutions beyond recognition in ways that make them cease to function well. The worst realization is how we will likely see due process for men erode as men become a smaller minority in the legal profession. The Atlant…

Women have less cultural pressure preventing them from being predators than men do. Feminists claim men are more inclined to predate. But for women who are so inclined, there is little to nothing dissuading them from that purpose.

It looks like a feminist psyop to me. Their mode of discourse is postmodern, their framework of beliefs is inconsistent, and they insult people who disagree with them.

I love this guy and he’s right that men and women tend to converse differently. Those of us who possess a modicum of decency try to adapt. Feminists chose to denigrate via slurs. I can only imagine the damage that’s been done to boys who heard teachers use this term.

This seems 15 years too late. In 2010 there was a huge increase in denigrating language directed at men and boys that has only escalated since then. You have young men who have lived their entire lives hearing men as a class of people get mocked and criticized for the way they talk, walk, sit, and even look at the world around them. And at the same time the slightest rude word uttered by those men was punished severely. Men were fired for merely acknowledging empirically proven differences betwe…

Sorry that happened, man. Some older women have gotten away with calling men sexist for inane reasons and those men self silencing to protect themselves for so long that they don’t even know what the word means anymore. Good job challenging her in a respectful way and she should feel ashamed for insulting you like that from a position of authority and refusing to justify her claim. She sounds like she was being sexist in this situation. What a dope.

If I was in Gen z I’d avoid women my own age and try to date older millennial women. I think there’s a noticeable change in the attitudes of women towards men about midway through the millennial generation that’s probably linked directly to increased social media use during development. From a Birds Eye view, they seem to enjoy shaming men in front of other women more than they enjoy actually dating men. Their behavior is genuinely toxic and I wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole.

Completely fair take. And I think 1984 while a work of fiction was based on the truth of Soviet authoritarianism, and similar to Upton Sinclair’s the jungle, it was a more compelling and moving work than it would have been if written as strictly non-fiction. I think fiction (and other works of art) has the potential to act as a Trojan horse by hooking the reader into the story before they fully recognize how it parallels their real world. And then when the reveal comes slowly but surely they may…

Camille Paglia is arguably the most brilliant feminist of our age. Take a moment and listen to them speak when you have time. The way they weave a deep knowledge of literature and history into contemporary discussions of gender is breathtaking. Mainstream feminism tried to get them fired more than once and has shunned Camille for their entire life, just because they defend men and demand we be treated with respect. There can be absolutely no reconciliation with feminism. It is a cult based on li…

We need to write a novel for the ages similar to Orwell’s 1984 and base it on our current feminist society taken just a bit further into abject horror. I bet it would get men and boys reading fiction again.

There are also people like Camille Paglia and Christina Hoff Summers who consider themselves feminists but who we and other feminists would not consider feminists due to their disagreement with feminist orthodoxy and clear love and respect for men and boys. They have been some of our staunchest advocates.

I’m sorry you’re being punished for doing your job well. In my experience false accusations serve a purpose when there isn’t anything else they can legitimately criticize about your behavior. I don’t know your environment, but in my experience it’s best to get ahead of stuff like this by reporting them for the way they are treating you. Check your employee handbook or whatever the equivalent is for your role, consult with a trusted colleague, and report them for everything that may stick.

I identify, man. Went into the city this weekend for tea with my wife. Early morning was pretty chill but sure enough after tea the crazy young women had woken up. At more than one crosswalk more than one young woman stared at me from across the street and then moved to align themselves directly across from me like a football player even though I’m always at the far right side of the crosswalk and they have plenty of room on their own right side. You can see them get all worked up emotionally an…

There’s nothing toxic about masculinity. Feminists just call it that when it doesn’t result in them getting what they want.

Women should be 100% of all drafted soldiers in all western nations for at least the next 100 years to equitably balance the historical oppression of men via conscription.

I think men should stop marrying women and having children with them. Rather than push against the feminist goal of destroying the nuclear family, I think we should lean into it. Malicious compliance works really well with feminism because they are awful at long term planning.

After that ludicrous recent survey now touted as concrete fact which asked feminists if they hate men (surprise, they claim they don’t!), I don’t know if any guy is going to take a survey like this seriously. This just in: people lie on surveys all the time to make themselves look better.

‘These children that you spit on as they try to change their worlds are immune to your consultations. They’re quite aware of what they’re going through.’ Here’s a thought experiment. Imagine a world where little girls are told they are toxically feminine and are criticized every day by their male teachers, classmates, and authority figures across society for the way they speak, sit, walk, talk, and even what they look at with their eyes. Imagine if they express pain or discomfort that they are m…

These are people who grew up heavily sheltered by their parents and teachers to the degree that they weren’t allowed to feel shame like normal humans. Now they externalize all uncomfortable feelings and blame others. They are genuinely emotionally deficient. They still feel shame, but don’t recognize it or understand it, and so transmute it into anger at you.

Rule #1: stop looking at them I think most guys don’t understand the power of their own attention and how valuable it is to women. It provides genuine validation to them and improves their feelings of self worth. Every time you look at them you are rewarding them. You don’t owe them that! If they aren’t treating men in a way that respects our dignity, then act like they don’t exist and watch how fast this entire house of cards comes crashing down. Women in NYC are already stealing men’s lunches …

It turns out when you’re cruel and dehumanizing to a group of people through every available medium, they will tend to want to remove you from power. Who in their right mind ever thought that terms like patriarchy, toxic masculinity, male privilege, mansplaining, manspreading, manslamming, etc. aren’t inherently insulting to men’s dignity? By all means keep gaslighting men that you either don’t realize how painful it is for them to be spoken about in the way you continue to speak about them, or …

This shit is unbelievably hard, man. It takes constant processing of your negative emotions and practice of mindfulness. You have to identify and validate your own internal emotional experiences of fear, anger, disgust, etc. and recognize the key drivers of those feelings. Then it helps to intellectualize what occurred and mentalize with them to help you guess at and understand their own internal experience and what drove their behavior. Then you need to recontextualize the impact or importance …

I thought men, especially straight, were mostly evil and horrible. It is wild how normalized this belief has become among feminists. Rather than diminishing over the past 30 years, there seems to be a growing tendency among feminists to treat men as a monolith. This inversely tracks with their own evidenced tendency towards in-group preference which men don’t exhibit. While at first glance this bias appears to have a negative effect on men as a result of the inherent prejudice they face, I think…

Refusing to interact meaningfully with women who express prejudice against men is the most powerful form of protest available to you. Young straight women are fixated on and obsessed with men to a degree that young men struggle to comprehend. They may not crave sex as keenly but they crave association and interaction far more. To put it plainly their lives are much more dull and grey without us than ours are without them.

Feminists don’t have a sense of humor which doesn’t involve cruelty. What the author misunderstands or misrepresents as irony is actually catharsis. Women who hate men feel good when they express that hate. It’s not that complicated.

This instantly reminded me of that commercial they made years ago that showed an infant boy and talked about how he was a future rapist. It seems like the agency assigned to men and boys is skyrocketing while the agency assigned to women and girls is plummeting. These images where for example a boy has his arm on a girl’s shoulders and his hand is that of an old man is akin to wartime propaganda in the visceral reaction it causes. This is delusional, anti-therapeutic, and frankly downright antis…

I’ve observed that young women today are far worse at regulating their own emotions than 20 years ago, so it makes sense that they are also worse at emotionally supporting their partners.

I remember back when feminists told us about the male gaze and how evil it was and I just forced myself to stop looking at women. The ironic part is how often women get pissed off now because you don’t look when they want you to. They act like it’s an insult instead of a gift.

Great list and good work. Thanks for sharing. I take issue with the claim of gendered historical oppression. I don’t think there is a legitimate argument anyone can make that anything approaches or exceeds the negative impact of being conscripted for and dying or being maimed in war. As recently as Vietnam boys were still being sent to die against their will. And yet rather than being told that men and women were equally yet distinctly oppressed under pre-contemporary western culture, we are ins…

Got stalked to my car at a farmer’s stand two weeks ago and she took a photo of my license plate. Another woman came real close to me at a different farmer’s stand last week and exhaled on me open mouth really loudly (I know it sounds weird but it was really gross). Just yesterday a woman practically ran through me shouting excuse me while I was picking out cheese. She had plenty of room to walk around me and had no need to invade my space at high speed and force me to jump out of her way. I oft…

I think the main problem currently is that as a culture we value women’s emotions more than men’s emotions. This is reflected in many different intersecting ways, but the key dynamic is that women’s emotions are often treated as valid and men’s emotions often aren’t. Men’s negative emotional expression seems increasingly policed and stifled by the culture at large while women’s negative emotional expression seems increasingly celebrated and more intense over time. I think this helps drive many o…

‘Toxic masculinity’ I don’t think the critiques are well-intentioned or even educated. It’s like hearing members of a cargo cult critique the aerodynamics of an airplane and suggest ripping the wings off while there are still passengers flying on it.

Young women regularly try to collide with me in public, like city sidewalks and grocery stores, and force me to walk far out of my way to avoid them touching me. Does that count?

So feminists are encouraging each other to micro-aggress towards men. Maybe this is why so many young women keep stalking me in public spaces like grocery stores and physically forcing me to move out of the space I’m in by trying to collide with me.
