Meditation is the best bro.

Actually yeah, I've been tempted to make one on psychedelics, but I'm not sure if it's pushing the boundaries of TRP? I guess we'll find out. Every tried mushies?

Yes of course, and that's the point. I guess I gave it this title as many people presume you can. But as you said to 'silence' it is to be conscious of it. Thanks for your comment bro

Of course living in a world where sometimes we don't have the freedom in the present to choose when we should be waking up is horrible for those 'naturally' attuned to waking up at a specific time. The article/video is mostly for those waking up much later than they know they should be, or for those just wanting to understand how to rewire your brain to wake up earlier. For both these people, sleeping in can productivity and the overall quality of their life. Let's be honest, for the majority of…

Would you rather be extrmeley underslept or extrmeley Overslept. Out of curiosity.

Interesting. Cheers for your comment. Any sources?

Thanks for your comment, why not daily.. Out of curiousity?

Well said and that's the primary message of this anyway. Too many people let external circumstances such as dates dictate when they take action on something they have a manifold of time to do this very moment. Cheers for your comment.

Oh, believe me there is always room to simplify life. I'll check it out.

I do understand I am the one who posted this. But I'd love an explanation of how that book can be life changing (i'm not doubting you, rather I'm excited by possibility). What made this one stand out from all the books you've ever read?

Thank you. Yeah wind is a bit annoying, that's for letting me know.

Yes, of course, this is a generalized speculation and conclusion. What I invite you to start to think about are the core reasons why you are addicted to gaming. Is there something you specifically fear which gaming brings comfort to you. Be honest, brutally honest about this fear, because it does exist (you don't have to tell me). target this fear and find every way possible you can put yourself in a position to face this on small or big levels on a consistent basis.

You're Welcome

I understand your point. I made it clear that it is an over exaggeration, but the point is to have everyone understand that through time and with obesity this can become a psychological addiction that may very well rival others which would never be compared in the same category. Cheers for your comment and I agree with most of what you said.

Really? maybe that's something I can think about doing if people would enjoy it

Thanks for the comment, i enjoyed reading that. You seem cool bro, take it easy

How old are you? If you're over 18 which i think you are fucking save up and do it

It's like taking a rest day from the gym. It's important to lift and eat right, but your body and mind need to heal and grow as well. Love that. I need a motorbike man.

I agree with this but you should be able to look deeper and take what's good out of the book and his principles are in fact, gold.

I agree with your first point, however I think that time blocks are great way to work TOWARDS that. Thoughts?

Interesting I always felt the slight edge lacked practicality. Would you say it's considerably better and worth reading if I have already read the slight edge?

Could you explain yourself on your objections towards Tim Ferris's Books. The 2 books you listed are great, it's just that they're well known around here, so I wanted to bring some new ones. Thanks for your comment

I believe you are all mistaking meditation as a universal item. It is SUBJECTIVE to the individual. Focus on your breathing, once you are doing that that state is meditation for YOU.
/r/TheRedPill09/12/16 11:19 PM

However, this slight edge is a great starting point if you cannot decide.
/r/TheRedPill09/12/16 10:36 PM

Could you please explain. I've never in my life experienced bad nightmares from meditating? I really don't want people reading this, curious about trying meditation, to not try because of a comment like this. I'd appreciate some type of elaboration.

Coffee if you drink it helps a lot, or green tea. Make sure you're hydrated as well. If so and you still don't like it maybe it's just you individually. I'd suggest trying to just eat fruit in the mornings and see if that makes a different and then after you get used to that move on to being fasted. Cheers for the comment
/r/TheRedPill04/12/16 07:49 PM

Ah, I see what you mean, the meal times are up to you, as long as all your calories add up within the 8 hour period if you were to do 1 16/8 fasting period. However, just to add I have one question. Isn't 1500 very low? Unless you're extremely short, but even then.

Growth hormone increased by 2000% in some study (for men) can't find it. I like to think of fasting like this. A caveman doesn't wake up with a fridge in his cave.

awesome brother, what's your fasting window like..16/8?

Thanks for taking the time to write all that out, nice comment bro. Also on a side note: what's your best dish?

Yeah, I'm a personal trainer and with any client that wants to loose weight I always suggest a 16/8 intermittent fasting style eating plan. It's great to not only teach discipline, lose weight but it will just improve their entire day which can result in huge lifestyle changes. Thanks for linking that study and cheers for the reply mate.

mate, you've got to give some titles of the books that shouldn't be left unread ha.

That's the point, it increases your immunity to colds

Haha yeah man, i'd be asking the latter with hot water. It is like brain freeze from eating ice cream. However, you'll learn to love it because of the benefits.

Haha so random. I was born in the bay area. Where are you from?
/r/TheRedPill01/12/16 07:28 PM

New Zealand, so i'm not in some hot country! You will get used to it and remember it doesn't mean it has to be cold from the start, at least not for a while.
/r/TheRedPill01/12/16 02:05 AM

That's weird man, maybe your body needs time to adjust. I haven't had this problem.

Interesting point, I'll do some research and consider adding that in. Cheers for the comment mate.

To start out, take your warm shower--not too hot and then for the last few minutes turn it as cold as possible. You will get the benefits of the cold shower as long as you finish with it!

Obviously it depended on thetime of year (exams, assignments etc) but a lot of the time I was jsut being lazy, then cramming my work
/r/TheRedPill28/11/16 04:34 PM

Sounds great. I find i'm not hungry in the morning. Do you think it gives you energy, or is it just a hunger you experience?
/r/TheRedPill28/11/16 05:16 AM

It's great that you disagree, I understand your points. I made it clear that it's subjective to the individual, so I appreciate yours input. I guess one of the underlying benefits is that my belief in sleeping late was so ingrained into my mind that at all costs I avoided trying to opposite out of my own stubbornness. The overall message is to try it out if you never have before if your aim is to better yourself. New experiences = new insights. Cheers again for the well thought out comment.

I disagree if they ar done strategically. Humans are meant to have a nap in the afternoon, just a small cheeky one. Try having a coffee, then falling asleep right away and letting the caffeine wake up you up. In saying that they should just be utilized as a tool when you NEED them.
/r/TheRedPill27/11/16 10:57 PM

I understand your point and I guess you are a more extreme example because your work starts so early, and at that point getting up earlier is just unnatural, so I understand. It is more directed at those you have hours to spare in the morning which they intentionally choose to spend late at night. Where this lifestyle can work as a disadvantage.
/r/TheRedPill27/11/16 10:14 PM
3

I agree, you're quite lucky to start work so late. What do you for a living just our of curiosity? That's awesome to hear thought. What made the transition from waking up past 11:30 everyday easier for you and what seemed to trigger that change?
/r/TheRedPill27/11/16 08:43 PM
14

I reckon a 5 minute workout in the morning, then spend the rest of the time meditating/reading/taking your time/visualising, then workout later on in the afternoon/evening.
/r/TheRedPill27/11/16 08:19 PM

It almost killed me. I was dizzy all day, though I wasn't sleepy or tired. I started to think I had a brain issue :-/ I understand, try to take a nap. Also how long did you try it for, because if it was for under 2 weeks you didn't give your brain a chance to adjust, also you can't change so drastically, from let's say 9am to 5am in a day, over time you need to slowly decrease it.
/r/TheRedPill27/11/16 08:11 PM

10-12, if it's closer to 12 I squeeze in an nap in the afternoon after a big lunch and I'm good.
/r/TheRedPill27/11/16 07:51 PM
