I mean, I think his point is still valid. I think blowjobs, lasagne, and cuddling fall under taste and/or culture, right? It's not strictly about music.

Yeah, now that we are on the subject my bike was stolen a few weeks ago and...

It's nice to come back to this sub and see an amicable conversation happen on the first/second thread I read.

Women send smiley faces all the time though. To everyone. How's that fair?

I've watched Gangnam Style way too many times. I swear I wanted to photo shop a pair of those sunglasses on Jim Carrey just now.

That should be fine. If my input somehow is helpful, I don't mind.

I tried to subscribe to nofap but, my goal was just to masturbate waaay less. I started that project at the same time I subscribed to /r/seduction and /r/malefashionadvice, as well as started exercising as ways to improve myself. What your friend proposes is interesting. For me, it did seem like a source of shame. I couldn't talk to women and fapping was easier than actually interacting with them. It does makes you feel like less of a man if you use it as a replacement for the real thing. It doe…

lol. I've watched that show many times, and I do not at all remember that skit.

Yeah, you're right. It definitely does feel like that.

The ones that make the front page I think. If you browse the new posts they are kind of bad. But, I think that's true for any /r/. Browsing new is always a mix bag.

Is that from something?

Well, people are defending this community. When they attack what you believe, especially when it comes from a point of ignorance, you kind of feel the need to defend it. You are definitely right, though. You should improve yourself, because that's why we are here, and not worry about any of that. Especially because I don't think this subreddit is going to gain "legitimacy" (whatever the hell that is) or approval from the people that already made up their minds about it anytime soon.

I have the exact same relationship with that subreddit. There is definitely periods of time that I do get really lost and uninterested in it because it is a lot of "hair problem, period, etc.", but you can go there and listen to women's points of view on gender issues and the such, and i find that stuff really interesting to read through.

My thoughts were exactly that. Is that that bad? I mean, it sounds a bit too much like something I'd write when I was 15, and kind of a bit over the top. But it's not that bad especially if you've she's actually your girlfriend, right? I mean, I don't recommend writing one of these to your girl every week but, I've known a few girls that appreciated a little sappiness every once in a while. edit: I actually find the latter pic kind of sad :(.

I'm a computer science major, there are one or two cute girls in my classes. Best part is most everyone else in the class will not talk to them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
