thanks to you both for responding, I resonate with your comments. I too feel like "I'll die" if I can't put this in a context that doesn't put all the blame on me. Trying to explain and understand the abandonment and rejection without blaming myself as flawed person is the hardest part. and the feeling of abandonment and rejection itself is so awful. I've been deep in a dark hole for years now. I need to recover or I will die a lonely miserable pathetic man. Gotta rise up. I gotta believe I can.

Trust me I'm trying. Trying to keep it together for my 8 yo son. I want to be a good dad not a loser. But it's the fucking hardest point of my life

Really feel for you bro, this sounds like my story, except she blew everything up with an affair. I blame myself though! For being depressed and sucked into my porn addiction. I fucked up. But she didn't have to do me like that. I was trying to work it out with her. Still tried to work it out after the affair. She fucked me over man and now isn't even looking back. While I am miserable. Get therapy and supportive friends to help you. I need that too.

Damn bro. My wife did this too. Cheated on my then went on a magical dick tour. And I'm alone and havent fucked in three years. Fucking killing me. I need to get over this but I'm still in the deep dark hole.

Dude that's rough. You gotta put a stop to that kind of shit treatment. She didn't approve you leaving the state? Fuck her, go anyway. Shit, I dunno what I would do either I guess. It just sucks. I'm feeling it with you man.

My heart goes out to you brother. I've been having a really, really hard time since my wife cheated on me and then forced me out of the house. We've been separated for close to a year, and I'm not nearly recovered. I may be an unusual case because, like you, I have some pre-existing emotional issues like anxiety and depression. Those anxieties have just exploded for me since she left me and my depression has brought me to my lowest point ever. The rejection is devastating. It is just crushing. I…

Deleted my post. Few helpful and kind comments and a lot of fucked up bullshit from redpilled dickbrained assholes. Jesus, this forum can fuck off.

I appreciate that. I know dating apps suck for men. but my odds are pretty much zero in public places, i have a hard time talking to strangers in public (when not inebriated).

Fuck, this is so confusing for me and don't know what to do. I'm not a financial genius. I just know my money is being sucked dry.

Thanks for this. I don't think I know anyone personally who's been through it. Maybe I can find someone. But I appreciate the advice here.

Thanks. what do you mean by "case of one itis"? Is it "she's the only one"?

This seems like good advice, but seriously though, I'm not that much of a hard ass. I don't want it to hurt my son. And I still want amicable terms with my ex. Maybe I'm a sucker and doormat, I don't know. I am seriously conflicted and freaked out about it.

It was in 2020, during pandemic. I had a small child. I have been with this woman for 17 years. Not so easy to leave. I wanted to reconcile.

This is the kind of self-help hear me roar talk that does no good for the worst cases, people who are beyond depressed and can't get out of bed much less go to a gym or read 50 books. And "you are your only friend" is dangerous advice if you ask me. People need support. Group support. Friends. Big time down vote on this crap.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
