| 5 | My empty house feels so lonely.Same. I had the kids this weekend and saw my ex at an Easter function. She and I get along very well luckily but the kids went home with her and I go home to an empty house. It sucks. It feels terrible. It feels like my life is so far off course it can’t be corrected. I see you and I know how you feel. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/04/26 02:45 AM |
| 6 | One thing divorce taught me about being a fatherThanks for acknowledging this. I don’t have anyone in my life that has acknowledged this. Made me cry, honestly. I didn’t think anyone could understand what I was sacrificing, so thanks for recognizing this. Changed my outlook and changed my day. Thank you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/04/26 12:27 PM |
| 2 | One thing divorce taught me about being a fatherThanks for this. Just ended a relationship because my partner was bad for my kids (kids from a previous marriage) so that I could be more consistent for them and they could have a more consistent and tension-free existence. Ending the relationship has been so hard because I was in love, even though it was prob toxic to me too. Thinking about my kids not having to feel the anxiety from the chaos is the only thing that helps right now. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/04/26 12:15 PM |
