I agree with you totally - inequality and derision of one sex over the other must be pointed out and opposed, whether or not it's under the flag of feminism. However, I think there's a tendency in this subreddit to equate all feminists with those that want to oppress or subjugate men, and all is serves to do is alienate those people who identify as feminists but who work for or are open to working for the same equality that Men's Rights seeks. It continues the stereotype of men as shameless womanizers who only care about how many women they can fuck. I don't understand why this is an issue - feminists by definition are most interested in protecting the rights and interests of women. They're not obligated to protect the rights and interests of men, just as men in the men's rights movement are not necessarily interested in promoting the equality of women.
