Get a hobby. Find people who share that hobby. Meet with people and do the hobby together. Talk to those people. Find some connection (you already have one via the shared interest in the hobby) Meet them for drinks/other activities. Talk about private stuff / world views / whatever is on your mind. Be friendly, help people out, let others help you out, gain mutual trust, gain friendship

Your previous training hast not gone down the drain. There is a memory effect in your muscles that allows you to regain your former strength in a short period of time. Read this article (scroll down to muscle memory of you're too lazy for the whole thing): http://sci-fit.net/2017/detraining-retraining/

She shouldn't even consider going. You shouldn't even consider staying with her.

Sons of Anarchy might be up your alley. Also James Bond comes to mind. But I'm not sure if you can do much self improvement by watching series and movies. It would be more useful to educate yourself, do some self-reflection and start lifting. Try a strength training routine, be consistent and become fucking strong. That in itself is a great confidence boost. And you'll also become big, if you eat properly

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
