I’m not emotionally available for a relationship with another woman. This rules out a lot of women that would be frustrated if I led them on. I know there are some women in my life that would want to have sex with me regardless of a relationship. I’ve never had a friends with benefits or one night stand situation, but in my mind it seems like it would be less fulfilling of a sexual experience than sex with a committed partner. I’ve only had sex with my wife and am working toward reconciliation.

I probably need to do this. My wife is moving out today… for the second time. It feels so wrong to try to build resentment against your spouse. She’s the one fucking up and needing to change. Not me.

Your affair partner sounds fire! 🔥 She never asks you to take out the trash. She never needs you to help with the kids. She never has to figure out a budget with you. Just the pure ecstasy of secret sexual conquests with none of the responsibility of living together as a family. You aren’t happy because you’re entitled. Entitled people are never happy. Hopefully you can get a handle on your narcissism long enough for a therapist to help you.

Rough man. I’m thinking about dating again and your experience is giving me second thoughts.

There are better ways to deal with your insecurities than whatever you found on YouTube.

Working out helps your mental health. Forget the women and being attractive. Do it for your mind. It’s been proven over and over that it helps you be happier and have more energy when you exercise.

Something that I’m learning is that it’s healthy to let people experience negative emotions. Let people grieve. Let them be angry. Let them be sad. You don’t have to try to shorten their grief or help them ignore it. Honestly, it’s the people who think that’s a problem, who try to suppress those negative emotions, that often get stuck in them.

You are very fortunate. Kids complicate an already shitty situation.

Fantasy land isn’t so fun for her it seems.

Don’t be an ass. Don’t seek revenge. But get what’s fair to you. It’s not a partnership anymore (except parenting). She decided it’s every man for themselves.

I went though a few days where I had near constant intrusive thoughts about driving off a cliff or jumping in front of a car going 60mph. I added the suicide hotline number to my quick dial on my phone. Never called. But after processing my pain a bit more, the intrusive thoughts stopped. Now I’m constantly finding reasons I’m glad to be alive.

FWB? I have heard of it. If I still loved her I could not share her with other men. I’m so horny for my STBXW that FWB sounds amazing. But you are right. The pain on the other side of that would be hard. Post nut clarity would hit like bricks.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
