I don't see any reason why things would change so much in 4 years, but my fiancee would probably get mad at me if I tried now. Most guys that go to the Philippines do have good intentions (whether they just want sex or more than that). If anything, from what I've seen, many of the guys are naive and get taken advantage of far more than the woman in the situation. I consider myself to be a blackpiller. Imo, society was the best in the US in the 1950s. We can't entirely get back to that period, but we can get close if we go back to social conservatism (no divorce, elimination of gay rights, etc) and a more socialist economy (high taxes on the rich, low income and wealth inequality). Feminism has made the mother's behavior acceptable on a large scale. It has also become acceptable (and even encouraged) to not have fathers around. This is the result of that behavior. From what I've seen, if the guy is older than 45 or so, he's dating single mothers, bar girls, older women (not necessarily a bad thing), and/or the girl is very poor and he's supporting her entire family. I can't think of any situation that I've seen where one of the above isn't the case. Republicans have the House districts gerrymandered to oblivion. Also, some of the candidates have made major missteps that cost Republicans the election (I'm specifically thinking about Alaska and Palin telling the base not to select a second choice candidate).
