There was a good reason many cultures had the father/older men take the young dudes to the local whorehouse (or a simple hoe). The lack of sex is a bigger deal than the sex itself. It's the ancillary things a (quality) woman provides that one really desires.

A girl knows if you have a CHANCE (not guarantee) of sleeping with her within a moments of meeting you. What happens to most guys is they fail the tests as the interaction goes on and blow their chances. With some women it would not happen on the first date BUT we all know good girls who have put out for the right guy right away. Sometimes the bad girl will wait because they want something real for a change. Being friend-zoned happens because you missed your shot. The spark is gone and you've be…

Just like in discussions about people who amass vast amounts of wealth, the masses always ignore the part about the many failures of a businessman who finally had a successful venture. There is no point of debating the with the naysayers. It's easier to live in the fantasy of avoiding rejection than the reality that men who sleep with women get rejected ALOT. https://i.redd.it/pm1scouwuch21.jpg

There is no better time than right now. It's ok to be scared of rejection but those who are successful in life (in all areas) overcome their fears. It only gets harder as you get older. Unless one wants to be Hugh Hefner forever playing with his harem of 18-24 young girls, you are going to want a serious relationship with a grown woman. And as THEY get older, they grow less tolerant of games and are looking for signs of maturity in finances, experience, and carry baggage from prior relationships…

In every aspect of life, the time comes to apply the knowledge learned into reality, using it for one's benefit. Dating is the same way. There are no shortcuts. OP put in the work and reaped the benefits. I'm hoping his friend will be inspired to do the same.

Girls, especially hot ones, hunt in packs. The cowards will bother them when they are alone but you showed your status by approaching the group. Congrats on controlling your fear, not letting fear control you. Practice makes perfect. Having a routine, standard approach, and/or stories to give you a foundation to work with until keeping a (quality) conversation going becomes second nature. Keep it up!

This is right on the money. The topic means nothing to her; it's the passion in what you're talking about and the emotional highs and lows you are conveying. Work on those personal stories and have 2-3 of them ready to go.

Everyone is dealt a hand in life and expected to play the game. This may sound harsh but the sooner you come to grips with reality, the better. Whatever the handicap, there are dudes who have it worse and are able to pull in the girls. It may take more work but do you want to be alone or not? You're still in school so take advantage the proximity and easy access to women of similar interests. The best gift you can give your future self is putting yourself out there and taking your lumps NOW. You…

Looking is fine; just don't leer. If no one is bringing it up during conversation, then your problem is being self-conscious.

I second the motion. On the plus side, so many dudes make it harder on themselves by ignoring social cues of noninterest and limiting their sights on the 10s when the guy has no game. You had a spark and were able to start a small flame. Use what worked on this girl and how she responded to build your technique.

Can't take all the credit. It was a Mystery (old school PUA) commentary about a weakness in a fellow artists game. Good luck on your journey, friend.

Sounds like you're fun in the moment but not more memorable than the other scores of guys they gave their contact info to that night. There's a lack of a deeper connection to compel them to want a follow up.

Good stuff. TL;DR - There are no shortcuts. Be social, meet enough girls to grow and learn from your mistakes.

Ignore the haters. You had a goal and now can open different sets with ease. Refining the approaches and closers is the next step but so many forget that doesn't happen until the AA is dealt with. Congratulations and I hope your story inspires others that AA can be overcome, no matter how bad things are.

A friend's female ex was Ivy-league graduate, full-on feminist, had a passion for battered women, etc. The relationship was off and on for a 6+ years. After the third or so breakup, he started being a little more distant, a more "take it or leave it" attitude. He wasn't mean but wasn't going to pursue her since things had "ended" before; Her attraction to him increased ten-fold. That is when I became a true-believer in the real nature of male-female relationships.

The thing a lot are missing is bringing YOUR OWN experiences to the discussion. That is where the learning happens. There is a reason a teacher teaches a lesson and then assigns homework to reinforce the lesson. Many of you are asking the "dumb questions" that come from kids who did not do the assignment. It may sound harsh but OP cannot really help you grow unless you have the bruises and scars from doing the work in the field. I've seen this first-hand in my circle of friends. Those who did th…
